• COMPANY •

OATH Pro Wrestling is a global wrestling promotion that operates out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The company is owned by Barlow Holdings, a family run organization with Montgomery Barlow at the head. Current OATH President Tommy Straker oversees the entirety of OATH's operations with Conviction being his main focus. His brother-in-law Oscar Barlow is the Vice President who also serves as the General Manager of Livewire.

EVENTS •

OATH runs two weekly programs called Conviction and Livewire that both air for free on their website. The promotion runs in (roughly) eight week cycles. Conviction is where the main storylines and matches happen, whereas Livewire is for up-and-coming talent. In the beginning of 2021 Livewire adopted a "relaxed rules" format (think ECW).

  • Week 1-3: Conviction, Livewire

  • Week 4: Conviction Super Show

  • Week 5-7: Conviction, Livewire

  • Week 8: iPay-Per-View (Conviction), Catalyst (Livewire)

Super Shows typically feature a larger card with all championships defended. iPay-Per-Views follow a similar track but are much larger, with more production value. OATH runs six iPPVs a year.

  • January: Brutalism

  • March: Trial By Fire (features the Trial By Fire Match)

  • May: Where Eagles Dare

  • July: Rapture

  • September: Event Horizon (Biggest Show of the Year)

  • November: Violent Ends

• ANNUAL ACHIEVEMENTS •

Trial By Fire Match: A massive elimination contest. Two competitors start the match with a new competitor entering every two minutes. Elimination occurs through pinfall, submission, or referee stoppage. The first TBF was contested at Where Eagles Dare 2020 for the World Championship. In 2021 it will have it's own iPPV. Event Horizon Series: A round robin tournament. The first EHS was in 2019 and took place over eight shows with the finals culmination at the first Event Horizon iPPV. The 2019 version saw the winner crowned as the first OATH World Champion. The 2020 instalment introduced the two block system and was used to determine the challenger for the World Championship at Event Horizon II.

CHAMPIONSHIPS •

World Championship: The biggest prize in all of OATH. The World Title is contested among the best wrestlers that OATH has to offer.

Tag Team Championship: The top prize for tandems in OATH. The Tag Team Titles are considered just a notch below the World Championship in terms of prestige.

Intrepid Championship: The Intrepid Championship takes a particular type of competitor to win and defend it. Conviction defences are contested under a fifteen minute time limit. iPPV defences get twenty minutes. Should the match not end before those time limits, the champion retains. The title can change hands by pinfall, submission, referee stoppage, disqualification, or count out unless another stipulation is in play.

Tabula Rasa Championship: The "clean slate" title. Whomever wins this title gets to decide a match stipulation for them to defend it under. This could be almost anything, it could even augment the type of championship that the TR Title is.

Livewire Championship: The "work horse" title. The Livewire Title is defended every single week, always on Livewire or Catalyst. Should the champion defend the title consecutively five times they earn at TR Title Match, if they defend it ten times they earn an Intrepid Title Match, if they can defend it fifteen times then they earn a World Title Match. These title opportunities can be banked.
