Episode XXXVIII Sunday November 1st, 2020 The Citadel in Toronto, Ontario

The energy in The Citadel is mighty powerful as we join the rabid OATH fans inside the arena for episode thirty eight of OATH Pro Wrestling Conviction. The music is pumping, elaborate pyro is blasting, and we are ready for the go home show to Violent Ends in just one weeks time.
After panning over the capacity crowd we cut to the ringside announce table with the voices of OATH Matt Mears and “Bad Mood” Ben Petrie.
MEARS: Welcome wrestling fans to Conviction 38 my name is Matt Mears and I am speaking to you from beside my longtime broadcast colleague “Bad Mood” Ben Petrie. How are you feeling tonight Bad Mood?
PETRIE: For the first time in my career I can say that I am happy to be in Canada for the week. I am a proud American and I have done my part -- but I want nothing to do with what is going to be going on in my native land this week.
MEARS: I can’t blame you for that in the least! Tonight is the final installment of OATH Pro Wrestling Conviction before our massive iPay-Per-View event Violent Ends next week!
PETRIE: We’ve got five big matches tonight that are going to give us a good idea of how Violent Ends is going to go next week. In the main event tonight Sweet Treats face the biggest challenge of their time as a team as they take on the OATH World Champion Reo Ojima and OATH Tabula Rasa Champion Leah Aguero -- ONI.
MEARS: A massive opportunity for those two young competitors. Another young competitor in Kasey Kash gets a huge opportunity of his own as he takes on former two time OATH Intrepid Champion, The Chairman of Chaos Locke Helms.
PETRIE: Kash is OATH’s resident rubberband man, that kid can take some punishment but I’ve got my money on Helms snapping him tonight. Just like Helms’ Hell Realm pal Adrestia Nyx is going to do when she takes on Swtichblxde in his first OATH singles match.
MEARS: That contest is sure to be chaotic after what The Hell Realm did to The Runaways and Kasey Kash last week. I am surprised that Mr. Straker is even letting Kash and Switch compete this week.
PETRIE: Maybe he’s hoping that they get injured further, I know I am.
MEARS: That is a terrible thing to say. Another young competitor facing off against a veteran tonight will be Johnny Draco when he takes on the reigning OATH Intrepid Champion FM Young.
PETRIE: Draco wanted this match, he set his sights on the Intrepid Title and now he has to face the dominant champion. He’s going to regret it. I’m no Young booster but Draco is in trouble.
MEARS: I think that he’s going to surprise you. Something that wasn’t a surprise was the Daughters of Darkness, Jamie Emmerson and Lana Corvin appearing on Conviction last week for the first time to make their intentions known. They want the OATH Tag Team Titles!
PETRIE: Of course they do! And they’ll get them soon enough. Tonight they make their debut on Conviction as a team as they take on The Blacklist. I’m a fan of both teams so I can’t wait for this one. Gonna be fuckin’ mayhem!
MEARS: You won’t have to wait long because that is our opening contest but I am told before we get to that we have a special message from The Daughters of Darkness themselves. Wrestling fans, let us begin!

The scene opened to a wooded area. The fading light of the day was helped by a plethora of candles. In the middle of the clearing was a decent sized fire. On the other side of the fire danced a blonde woman in a full-length white gown. She moved in the space agilely, half dancing and half reaching out to grab at the air. Her laughter filled the clearing, blending with the crackle of the fire.
In front of the fire, from opposite sides, in gowns similar to the blonde woman walked Lana Corvin and Jamie Emmerson, the Daughters of Darkness. They shared a quick embrace before walking towards the camera. After a pause, where they stared into the camera, Lana spoke.
CORVIN: This is a special weekend for myself, Little Sister, and our Fae friend back there.
Lana jerked a thumb over her shoulder pointing at the dancing blonde behind them.
CORVIN: This is one of our major festivals. A special time, a perfect time, for our official debut on Conviction. A match that should be as great and grandiose as anything else! But we get Blacklist.
Lana deadpanned into the camera.
CORVIN: I guess the message I sent on our last appearance on Conviction didn’t take too well. That’s fine. No, really, it’s alright. The front office OBVIOUSLY lacks in their mental faculties. They just need another message. This time it will be both Little Sister and I sending it. Hopefully, it takes this time around. I really don’t want to have to have Little Sister and myself have to keep sending you the message over and over and over again.
Lana smirked.
CORVIN: As fun as it would be to humiliate the OATH tag team division on our path to the titles. Something my family knows all about. Something I don’t plan to change anytime soon either. It doesn’t matter who holds the belts, when Little Sister and I decide to come and get them, that’s what will happen.
With a nod of affirmation, Lana took a deep breath.
CORVIN: But first we have to take on the has been and the never will be. I really hope they aren’t thinking that they can actually win this match and use our status to elevate themselves.
Jamie stepped forward from just a step behind Lana. The former Livewire Champion pushed her hair behind her ear and stared with disgust into the camera.
EMMERSON: See, sending a message can only be so amusing for the messengers before it becomes stale. Having to send it over and over and over. Yet, it seems no matter how many times we ask for OATH’s best, we are fed scraps not even fit for the filth we put down before them. It was not until my eleventh booking that I was given formidable competition that could put a stop to my destruction.
That cold smirk crossed her lips again and she tilted her head.
EMMERSON: And Minoru Tanahashi claimed he was the one on some great path.
Jamie suddenly turned her head and spit on the ground as if mentioning the Black Lion had left a bad taste in her mouth. When she spoke again, her tone was raised just slightly, showing a flash of anger.
EMMERSON: And before that, Livewire’s esteemed joke of a showrunner thought he would be able to pit US…
She clapped a hand down on Lana’s shoulder, squeezing.
EMMERSON: ...against each other! Well, congratulations on making a fool of yourself. So that brings us to Conviction...and again...the Daughters of Darkness find ourselves in the same situation. The Blacklist. This is what the daughter of a living legend and the former and greatest Livewire Champion that there will ever be are given for their moment in the spotlight.
Jamie turned to Lana and just shook her head, not amused at all by their treatment thus far. Lana placed a hand on Jamie’s shoulder. The action caused Jamie to step back and take a breath.
CORVIN: Well, don’t see Little Sister get worked up like that often. You boys in the office REALLY hit a nerve. Though I second every single thing she said, cause he has a point. The insults will no longer slide. Book us as we deserve or there will be a reckoning. Because we have been benevolent thus far. Do not draw our wrath. A pair of witches with a vendetta?
Lana shot Jamie a look. Jamie looked right back at Lana then the two of them looked at the camera again. Jamie just smiled, at first.
EMMERSON: You are not prepared.
The pair smirked arrogantly. Lana placed an arm around Jamie’s shoulder and the pair turned and walked towards the fire and the blonde woman.

TAG TEAM MATCH The Blacklist vs. Daughters of Darkness
The first match of the evening started with Lana Corvin beginning the contest for the Daughters of Darkness and Nas starting off for The Blacklist. After the initial lock up Nas hit Corvin with a knee to the midsection and caught her with a big roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Corvin was rattled but she fell back into her corner to make a tag to Jamie Emmerson.
PETRIE: Let’s fuckin’ gooooooo!
MEARS: You do not even try to hide your love for both of these teams -- do you?
PETRIE: Why should I? This is gonna be sick.
Before Emmerson could enter the ring Nas cracked her with a roundhouse kick that sent her down to the floor. Nas dumped Corvin over the top rope as well and the Daughters of Darkness both found themselves down on the outside in the early goings of this contest.
The veteran Nas laughed as he went to his corner and tagged in his protege Nero Darkbringer. The two shared a nod and then darted across the ring and hit stereo suicide dives to the outside, taking both Corvin and Emmerson down. Darkbringer instantly hefted Emmerson up and slipped her into the ring.
PETRIE: Gotta say I’m loving the early aggression from The Blacklist. These dudes need a win in the worst way. A win over two eighteen year olds is still a win! Reminds me of these two eighteen year olds that I--
MEARS: Do not continue that thought.
Nas kept Corvin subdued on the outside and then joined his partner in the ring. Emmerson was up to her feet ready to fight but she found herself standing between both members of The Blacklist. Nas and Darkbringer both taunted the Livewire Champion but she clearly wasn’t buying in.
Before she could decide which one of them to attack Jamie was hit with a roundhouse kick from Nas and an enzuigiri from Nero at the same time. Jamie crumbled to the mat in a heap. Nas quickly exited the ring as Darkbringer fell into a cover.

PETRIE: Damn The Blacklist nearly achieved a flawless victory there!
Jamie was able to kick out and saw that Corvin was up on the apron, looking for the tag. The former Livewire Champion got to her feet but she wasn’t ready to make a tag just yet. Darkbringer looked for a tie up but Jamie slipped behind him and cracked him with Athame (Hooking Superkick from behind)!
MEARS: The former Livewire Champion is able to turn this contest around and not a moment too soon!
Rather than cover, Jamie tagged in Lana and it was time for the Daughters of Darkness to do some fucking damage. Darkbringer got up to one knee but that Athame rocked him. He was further rocked when the DoD hit him with their Phat Ass Con-Chair-To (Stereo Hip Attacks)! Corvin made the cover.

Darkbringer was not able to kick out but luckily Nas flew into the ring and kicked Lana in the side of the head. This infuriated Jamie and nailed Nas with Sacrifice (Ripcord Liver Shot). By this point Lana had recovered from the head kick and she took hold of Nas. Within seconds Nas fell victim to Hecate’s Judgement (Slingshot Magic Killer) from DoD.
MEARS: Nas is down!
PETRIE: Uh oh Darkbringer, yous in trouble my man.
Nas was forced to roll to the outside to recover and DoD saw their opportunity. Lana hefted Darkbringer up for a spinebuster but held him there just long enough for Jamie to hit her leaping leg lariat. Darkbringer landed with a thud from the Balefire combination and Lana covered.

Winners: Daughters of Darkness
“Daughters of Darkness” by Halestorm kicked up. Darkbringer had enough strength to roll to the outside and join his mentor as the referee raised the hands of Jamie and Lana. DoD looked pleased but this was only the first step and they were ready for further competition. Both smirked into the camera lens as we faded out for our first commercial break.

The night had finally arrived for Johnny Draco to prove his worth in OATH Pro Wrestling. It would be a match that tested his talent against a fierce competitor. A competitor who was one of the best OATH had to offer, a woman he had grown respect for through the weeks. The cameras transition to the backstage area where Draco was throwing some punches in the air, his hand almost knocking against the cement wall. The beautiful Tiffany Lynn Page stood nearby giving him words of wisdom. He needed those affirmations to keep his confidence high.
TIFFANY: Draco this is the moment we’ve wanted since arriving on Conviction. Tonight is your chance to prove you belong in this federation. Though, we both know you have proven you do already. There are some that still say you don’t deserve the spotlight. Let’s show them that you do when you take on FM Young.
DRACO: I know I have to prove myself once again tonight against FM Young. A woman who has held a prestigious career record here in OATH. That may make me the underdog going into this match. Though, I won’t let that stop me from making an impact on Conviction tonight. I know what must be done to be recognized as one of the best rising stars here in OATH.
A grin on his face was shown when the shot closed in. At that moment the talented Conviction Interviewer and Livewire Commentator May O’Neil approached the man slowly. Draco stopped throwing punches as his attention turned to May O’Neil. He was always ready to share his mind on things, his head nodded softly towards her direction.
O’NEIL: Ladies and Gentlemen, I am here with the rising talent of OATH Pro Wrestling Johnny Draco. Who in recent weeks has been unstoppable since his loss to Jamie Emmerson. Johnny I am hoping I can ask you a few questions if that’s alright?
DRACO: I’m down to answer your question May, feel free to ask me anything you want to. I don’t have a problem sharing my mind with you and the fans of OATH Pro Wrestling.
O’NEIL: Tonight, you get a chance that some would dream of in OATH. A match against a champion known as FM Young. How do you feel about going up against the Intrepid Champion tonight?
DRACO: I am feeling in a way honored to have this chance against her. You see it’s an important match for me here tonight. I get a chance to prove I can wrestle against one of the best OATH has to offer. I am also feeling some self-doubt. I mean, who wouldn’t when going up against FM Young? Though, I haven’t let that bother me over this past week. I don’t plan on letting it stop me from getting the job done tonight against her. It will be a match that the fans enjoy, every second of it. I know what I am getting myself into when I go up against FM Young. After watching her previous matches, I have grown more impressed. Yet this same respect can’t blind me from becoming victorious.
O’NEIL: You definitely seem like you are becoming confident about this match. Why is this match so important to win for you? Do you think it will bring more recognition to your career here in OATH Pro Wrestling?
DRACO: It is important because I want to be known as a fighter who took on the best. When the time came I didn’t turn back but I gave it my best performance. Some may take this chance lightly because of it not being a title match. Though I know if I can get the job done perhaps, they might think of giving me a chance for that. I know it will prove I deserve a title match against her. Tonight’s match will be a match that can showcase my true talent to the owner, the roster, and the fans at the same time. Unlike Kasey Kash, who has shown to become an after-thought, I won’t end up failing in tonight’s match or the title match if offered one. it will be a match that sees me become the next potential contender for the OATH Pro Wrestling Intrepid Championship.
O’NEIL: It would definitely be a shocker if you come up with the win against FM Young. A moment that for sure would show this federation and it’s fans you deserve to be recognized. Yet we all know after last week’s number 1 contendership match, FM Young is set to face Erik Holland at Violent Ends. Having that in mind is it possible FM Young could be not focused enough on you tonight seeing as how she has a title defense coming up soon?
DRACO: It is definitely something I have considered these past few days. Though, I would never put it past her to overlook this match. As a competitor you never want to not focus on a match no matter the importance. Perhaps, she's thinking she'll use me as an example for what's to come for Erik Holland. Yet that gives me more of a reason to prove her and those who say i can't beat her wrong. It motivates me to give my all into this match. At the end hopefully being the one who holds their hand high. A moment that shows I deserve the spotlight shined on him in the future of OATH Pro Wrestling. I’m a man that won’t stop at anything to make his presence known. While, she may not be focused as much on this match tonight. It all comes with great reason as perhaps she feels I’m not a worthy opponent. A rookie in the wrong lane at the wrong moment, her feeding toy before she meets Erik Holland. This will all be shown to be false when we step into the ring together.
O’NEIL: That is a great response which I hope everyone is paying attention to. You seem to want to be taken seriously in this industry, after seeing what you can do in the ring. You definitely have shown you might have noticeable talent after all. How would you compare yourself to FM Young and how would you say that you two are different?
DRACO: While, I may just be gracing the surface of greatness here in Oath Pro Wrestling. FM Young has sat on the throne of what it symbolizes. Her talent may be a sign of perfection, yet that doesn’t discourage me tonight. Over this past week I have shown I'm as hungry as she is inside and out of the ring. What we both represent may be the same thing, yet one has to carry themselves more fiercely. A way to push the envelope of what greatness looks like, in a way setting the bar for the future of the Intrepid title division. You see the child who compared me to Mowgli and her as Shere Khan put it into great perspective. I am the young competitor willing and waiting for the rightful moment to make an impact. The beast on top of the mountain in this division happens to be FM Young, who is always ready to show her worth in the ring. For that I respect her for her career however, it just motivates me to do my best tonight.
O’NEIL: You two definitely have what it takes to give these fans a great match tonight. I am looking forward to what you both bring. The last question I have for you is what about your past here in OATH, do you believe it has you prepared for what could be said as your biggest match to date?
DRACO: Through these ups and downs in my career here in OATH. I have grown to be a worthy competitor. Each loss or win has made me see this industry in its entirety. I do believe every moment spent up until tonight will pay off here at Conviction. The hard work put in over these past weeks showing to be a sign I’m ready for a match against FM Young. Ever since my loss against Jamie Emmerson, I have grown to become more hungry and wiser in the ring. I have started to see there are some wrestlers who possess more talent. One in particular being FM Young in the fan’s eyes. Yet that doesn’t stop me from getting the job done when the time comes. Tonight, is the biggest match of my young career here in Oath. A match that will hopefully prove I do belong here in Oath. I have prepared for a match like this not only this week but since getting signed in OATH.
O’NEIL: With that I say good luck tonight, I’m sure you’ll do great tonight against FM Young. Have a great match tonight Johnny, I look forward to seeing the outcome. Thank you for taking the time out to answer my questions tonight.
He nodded his head once more as May O’Neil took her leave. It would soon be time for his match against FM Young to take place that night. He was ready more than ever to prove his worth in OATH. A moment that further justified his road for redemption. He turned to Tiffany who had been getting ready for the match. He knew she would be proud of him if he could pull it off that night. He owed it to both the fans and her to get the job done. Though, to some it may seem like a hard task to overcome. That just motivated him further to prove himself against FM Young. Perhaps, at the end of the match earning a title match in the future against her. The cameras started to fade to a black.

FM Young sat at her home bar, in front of her many belts in display cases, behind the dark wood mid height bar with carved Greek filigree. She sipped from a whiskey glass full of some dark liquid and stared intently into the camera. The Tiger of OATH’s bar area also contained her guitar, an amp, barstools, countertop arcade and poker machines, a currently empty dog bed presumably meant for Volta the Capybara.
FM: So, I’ve got a match this week, non-title against Johnny Draco. After you know, refereeing my own number one contender match. I’ll never understand why that’s a thing I had to do, but it happened. So enter Draco, and this time to nobody's surprise he’s still trying to kill me in a deluge of tweets, shit I remember when I used to be like. That enthusiasm to fight everyone on Twitter all the time, it’s gonna be fun watching that get flattened outta the old boy. Anyway, much to my own personal surprise, Mr. You never fought anyone like me has decided to after failing to get passed perhaps the best of my students to approach me with more respect. This is a good thing, I am due that respect after all. Of course, he’s still trying to sneak some shots in “I’m statistically better.” The thing about statistics? They tend to bare out facts, I have one of the best records in OATH. I’ve lost all of twice, I swept an entire block of the Event Horizon Series, I’m the first and currently only person to have held two different single’s titles in OATH. I’m not statistically better, I’m just better.
FM took a long slow pull out of her glass, it was clear as she came around the bar, walking slowly arm loose at her side and flopped down into a stool that she was tipsy. All that once well contained temper getting the better of the Champion finally as she stares at the camera and drinks just a little more.
FM: So Johnny tries to save face and comes at me differently, with a little more respect. Look, I admire the spirit Draco but I’m not so easily kissed up to. You’ve strung two wins together and I know what you’re doing, you beat me here and soon you’ll be claiming you can come for my Championship, which means I’d just better not lose right? Seems like my Championship is the one that means something in this company. After having to deal with a competitor who flat out admitted to just not caring .Fucking admitted she just didn’t give a shit, they’ve started making people EARN the right to fight me for what’s rightfully mine. I admit, it’s a good way to keep me happy, I’ve never gone out and demanded to face anyone specific, they don’t just toss the leftovers at me. So, sure, Johnny, you manage to win and you can get in line for my belt, suppose I won’t stop you. I’m just saying, those statistics? They ain’t in your favor. Which brings me to Holland.
Young stood up, drinking again from the glass in her hand and started pacing in front of the bar with a shake of her head that made a wild mess of her hair, she was definitely agitated and unable to sit still.
FM: Holland had to beat five people in a row to earn chance at my Intrepid Title, former champions, former contenders. Hell, AJ might be pissed at me but I was calling that down the middle. I’ve warned that boy about his shit, and he got distracted, he took himself away from goals. I can’t abide that, so he lost and Holland won...But to what end Erik? You couldn’t get the World Championship back from Reo and now you’re coming from me? Old friend, we’ve done this song and dance, and it’s always ended in my favor. You’ve proven you’re back on the ball, ripping through anyone in your path, but again, here I sit the roadblock. I’m always the roadblock, I get all the hot shit rookies, and the arrogant asshats, the wannabe monsters. They’ve all told me the same things, and they always come up short when it comes to getting in the ring with me. This isn’t EHS, Holland, I’m not wounded, running on fumes and still suffering ring rust. I am THE World Champion of OATH’s two affiliate companies. I am OATH Intrepid Champion, you might be a monster Holland, but I am THE Tiger. I am THE One Woman Army. I am due the respect of my challengers and I am due actually competent challengers. I want to see the monster, I want to see the man who has this love and lust for Violence. I want you to bring all of that and everything else, Holland. I don’t fear the height or the fall, I’m standing at the edge ready to jump.”
Young drains her glass and slams it down on the bar, growling under her breath, the muscles in her arms tense and the muscle in jaw jumping visibly.
FM: It took six backbreakers in a row last time, six of them and you still couldn’t manage it. You put up a hell of a fight and I want that all over again if you manage to end me? I’d consider it a good death for my time as Champion, a fitting and honorable one. I doubt it though, because while you are vicious and talented, I am ferocious, and nye immortal in my toughness. Come at me Holland, and my personal suggestion? Go for eleven backbreakers this time, THAT might do it.
FM leaned back behind the bar, pulled out a bottle of whiskey, before striding over the camera and turning it off.

SINGLES MATCH
Johnny Draco vs. FM Young
The next match was a hotly contested bout to say the absolute least. Johnny Draco made his way to the ring to the sounds of "Kumbaya" by Hopsin and he was accompanied by his manager Tiffany Lynn Page. The fans in The Citadel had grown to admire Draco over the last few weeks and he got a welcoming response as he entered the ring. Tiffany took her place at ringside as Draco shadowboxed in the ring.
The OATH Intrepid Champion appeared at the top of the ramp a few moments after "Helix" by Amaranthe kicked up. “The Tiger” FM Young had the Intrepid Title draped over her shoulder and she made her way down to the ring to a good response from the crowd, slightly better than the cheers that Draco received. Young stopped at the bottom of the ramp and passed a cursory glance over Tiffany at ringside before ascending the steps. Draco stopped warming up and his eyes focussed on the champion.
PETRIE: Y’know when we opened the show here tonight I wasn’t convinced that Draco had an ice cubes chance in hell of winning this match…
MEARS: Has your opinion changed?
PETRIE: A little. That interview he had with O’Neil raised my belief in him about five percent.
MEARS: What is it at now?
PETRIE: Five percent.
Young passed the title to the referee and he in turn passed it to one of the ring crew. The referee signaled for the bell and no sooner did it chime then did Draco dart across the ring and blast an unsuspecting Young with the Ace of Spades (Superman Punch). The champion dropped in a heap and the audience popped for the surprise opening.
Draco made sure that Young had no time to recover because he stomped on her midsection mercilessly. Draco quickly gathered Young up and sent her hard into the corner with an Irish whip. Young seemed surprised by the force that Draco was able to use and was surprised again when he ran into the corner and hit her with a running back elbow.
MEARS: Johnny is taking the fight to FM right now. She hasn’t had a chance to get in any offense so far.
PETRIE: We may be at ten percent belief now!
MEARS: The belief is rising!
Keeping Young trapped in the corner with several more back elbows, it was hard for Draco to hide the joy that he was experiencing. He had the Intrepid Champion on the ropes, literally, and he wanted to keep her there. Draco nailed the champion with a series of quick body blows and then levelled her with a right cross.
The Tiger was hanging off the ropes in the corner when Draco took hold of her wrist and looked to shoot her across the ring into the opposing corner. As Draco shuffled his feet to propel Young, the Intrepid Champion reversed the momentum and then blasted Draco with a massive Man-Machine Interface (Discus Clothesline)! Draco was turned inside out and Tiffany looked quite concerned at ringside.
MEARS: This is what FM does. Just when you think you have her, she turns the whole contest on its ear.
The Intrepid Champion had to take a moment to regain her faculties but that was short lived because Draco was starting to get up. Young was forced to press the advantage or risk Draco taking control again. Draco rushed the champion but Young was ready for him and she dropped him with the Stand Alone Complex (Elevated Gutbuster)! Young fell into a cover.

2..!
Draco was able to kick out but Young kept him on the mat with some falling forearm shots to the face. Gathering Draco up to his feet, Young applied a ¾ facelock and then dropped Draco with her signature Superchick (The Shiranui)! Young then pulled Draco towards the nearest corner.
PETRIE: Back down to five percent. This kid came out too hot. He wasn’t playing the long game.
MEARS: FM can beat an opponent in an instant. She is a dangerous competitor.
The Tiger stood with her back to the prone Draco, took hold of the top ropes on either side of the turnbuckle and then pulled herself up looking for Negasonic Warhead (Starship Pain) but Draco slipped out of the ring thanks to a prompt from Tiffany! Young ate canvas and Draco was afforded some time to recover.
Young was favouring her midsection as Draco slipped back into the ring. The desperate rookie gathered Young up and applied an inverted facelock. Draco called out to The Citadel and then dropped Young with The Serenity Prayer (Cross Rhodes)! The crowd actually popped as Draco made his first cover of the contest.
MEARS: Johnny Draco is going to pin the Intrepid Champion!
1..
2..!
PETRIE: Damn I thought the kid had it.
The Intrepid Champion was able to kick out and The Citadel popped for that too! It was clear that the OATH fanbase in attendance was split on who to support. Draco hauled Young up to her feet again but The Tiger came to life, kicked him in the midsection, and then planted him with a stunner! The Citadel exploded and some “Hell Yeah!” chants started up.
Draco was staring up at the lights as Young ascended to the top rope. The Citadel was known for loving them some flippy shit and they were about to see some. Unlike Draco, Young didn’t pander to the fans. She earned their support without it. Young measured Draco and came off the top rope looking for the Battery Powered Bombshell (Shooting Star Senton)! Young nearly hit it but again Draco slipped out of the ring, thanks to a call from Tiffany.
MEARS: Tiffany Lynn Page has been an invaluable asset in this contest.
PETRIE: An extra set of eyes always helps.
The fans weren’t super pumped about Young missing that move but their mood changed as Erik Holland came down through the stairs in the crowd and made his way to the front row. I guess being a former World Champion grants one special privilege. Holland leaned his forearms on the barricade and watched the contest with great interest.
The upstart Draco was back into the ring and as Young started to stand, Draco applied a front chancery. Draco quickly transitioned it into a vertical suplex and then he planted Young with a brainbuster! Draco was quick to ascend to the otp rope and this time he chose not to play to the crowd, he quickly leaped off with The Killswitch (Corkscrew 450° Splash)! Draco hit it perfectly and covered.
PETRIE: Holy fuck!
1..
2..
..!
MEARS: How on Earth did FM kick out of that?
The Intrepid Champion just barely kicked out and Draco looked devastated. Holland himself seemed surprised that Young was able to evade defeat. Tiffany cheered Draco on as he gathered Young up and set her up for The Mic Drop (Skull Crushing Finale) but Young delivered a sharp elbow to his midsection and then surprised him with Heart of the Phoenix (Lumbar Check)! Draco was bent in half and Young covered.

Winner: FM Young
"Helix" by Amaranthe cued up but the audience’s jeers drowned it out because AJ Jenknyx was charging to the ring. Holland saw him coming and hopped the barricade. Holland and Jenkynx both slid into the ring at the same time. Young was ready to go at Jenkynx but Holland brushed by her from behind. Young did not take kindly to that.
PETRIE: Holland wants a piece of Jenkynx! Didn’t he get enough last week?
MEARS: Apparently not.
Holland was ready to engage AJ when Young grabbed Holland by the shoulder and spun him around. Champion and challenger were face to face and AJ decided to suspend his attack. Draco slowly got to his feet and AJ saw his new target. AJ booted Draco in the face and that sent him through the ropes to the outside.
PETRIE: Hah! Draco blew it and now AJ is showing him what’s up.
Young and Holland were arguing when AJ went to approach them but Draco grabbed AJ’s boot from the outside and tripped him up. The audience cheered as Draco pulled AJ out of the ring and the two immediately started brawling. Their fight took them up the length of the ramp and through the curtain.
PETRIE: I wonder if we’ll see those two face off soon!
MEARS: You know we will. Likely at the same event that the two competitors will face off. Violent Ends, Erik Holland challenges FM Young for the Intrepid Championship.
PETRIE: Gonna. Be. Nuts.
In the ring the referee interrupted the argument between Young and Holland, to hand the Intrepid Championship to Young. The Tiger took it in her hands and then raised it high in the air. Holland glanced up at the title as we cut to commercial.

The scene opened up insidePillar and Post, the place was busy as usual. Sitting in one of the corner booths, wearing baseball caps, wearing dark clothes, not their usual bright and cheerful colors were the Sweet Treats, Kallie Reznik and Alex Andrews.
ALEX: Something has to be done. This can't go on.
KALLIE: I agree, but what can we do?
The two grabbed the milkshakes they had ordered and took a long pull from the straws as they thought. Alex shook her head, obviously very frustrated with the situation.
ALEX: What's worse is that we can't let this whole ordeal with The Sweet Boys distract us from our match with ONI later on. Those two are going to be brutal. Bru-Tal. And if we don't stay focused, they are gonna take our heads off. Reo has been the top champ for so long for a reason. That can't be overstated.
Alex let out an almost growl as she sat and stewed.
KALLIE: I know, I know. And Leah is pretty damn dangerous too. But we aren't out of our depth, we can hold our own, I know it. We just got to get past...this. Past... Them.
They both knew whom they were talking about and didn't have to say their name again.
ALEX: Maybe if we knew more about them? I don't know. We will not be the victims here. I think we definitely need to go on the offensive here.
Kallie nodded, agreeing with the sentiment. She then covered her mouth to mask the noise as she noticed a group of patrons in the restaurant.
ALEX: What?
KALLIE: It's them....
Alex sighed and tugged the ball cap down further on her head, trying to make sure she didn’t catch their attention.
ALEX: I swear, I'm going to go over there and give them a piece of my mind.
Kallie placed a hand over Alex's arm and shook her head.
KALLIE: Now is not the time and place. Just let it go. They look to be looking around the place for someone.
ALEX: Yeah, us.
KALLIE: You don't know that.
ALEX: Call it an educated guess.
Kallie kept an eye on them, grabbing her milkshake and taking a sip, further trying to mask her appearance.
ALEX: We can't keep doing this. This is too much.
KALLIE: I know. I know. Soon, we'll do something soon, just observing right now.
Alex kept muttering to herself as Kallie finally started to loosen up.
KALLIE: Whew, they are gone.
ALEX: Good. Did you see where they went?
KALLIE: Yeah, that way, out the side door.
Alex nodded and got up out of the booth and glared hard in the direction the Sweet Boys left and she went to walk near the set of tables they were standing by. She bent down to pick something up.
KALLIE: What's that?
ALEX: It's a lanyard, must have fallen off of one of them.
KALLIE: Oh and?
Alex flipped it over.
ALEX: Name's Kevin.
Kallie squeezed Alex's arm.
KALLIE: It’s a start.
ALEX: Yeah sure.
Alex then moved to go back to their seats in the corner when they looked up to see that the seats had been taken.
ALEX: What do you want?
Kallie leaned in to grab their milkshakes from the table and handed Alex hers as they stared hard at one of OATH's newest tag teams, The Daughters of Darkness. Jamie was all smiles as she sat with her feet up on the table.
EMMERSON: If it isn't the most bubbly pair on the roster. Not looking your usual hyper selves these days.
Alex had had enough of this and went to turn away.
ALEX: We don't have time for you right now...
CORVIN: You had better make time. Because while y'all have had some small measure of success as a team, it will all crumble to dust when we cross paths.
Kallie chuckled a bit.
KALLIE: I'm sure. Until that time, we aren't afraid of you. We've proven how serious we are as a tag team, and it'll take more than a couple of...
Alex stopped her.
ALEX: Don't. Do not insult them quite like that. I wouldn't recommend that.
Kallie smiled and nods, taking Alex's lead.
CORVIN: What do y'all say to this? You guys likely aren't doing anything come Violent Ends, cause you're losers. And we want to make a name for ourselves. And we don't mind it being at your expense. So Daughters of Darkness against The Sweet Brats? You game?
Kallie and Alex looked at each other and nodded in unison.
ALEX & KALLIE: You're on.
The Daughters of Darkness stood up and the four measured each other up. After an intense moment, The Sweet Treats took a step back and headed off toward the bar, they talked to the bartender, left their tab there and milkshakes and headed out of the restaurant, leaving the Daughters of Darkness looking all smug as the scene faded.

The drums rolled. Marching to the beat, Bert Cocaine came forward and about-turned, standing in front of Rocco, Switchblxde, Jenna Sharpe, and Kasey Kash, where the latter had formed a semi-circle in a small room. Bert gripped the swagger stick and slaps it against his house coat.
BERT: AHHHHHTEENNNN- SHUN!
Sporting new aviators with everyone’s reflections and an army helmet instead of his Russian trooper hat, Bert started to pace.
BERT: TROOPS! Last week… last week we lost the battle. Our guards were down. Each and every one of you have come in to this company with goals and ambitions and I BELIEVE it when I say every one of you is on top in every aspect of your careers.
Bert slapped his thigh with the swagger stick again.
BERT: KASEY! Studio CD release, a promotion from Livewire to Conviction… a star on the rise... an industry force to be reckoned with.
Another swagger stick slap.
BERT: JENNA. In four months you have seen multiple championships, multiple championship opportunities and continue to gain more opportunities by the second. More than a rising star… an industry leader for women’s wrestling, for Canadian wrestling, for family wrestling… a true legacy… a true Canadian Gem.
Slap.
BERT: The Runaways. My boys. Another set of industry leaders. Helping pave the way for new age tag team wrestling… keeping the fire burning. Faced with multiple obstacles, tag team tournaments and losing temporary eligibility for championship opportunities, finding new and exciting ways to keep fans excited for a product and for a genre of wrestling that heavily relies on their talent and their presence.
SLAP!
BERT: And the disrespect shown to you is… inexcusable. Every one of you are born and bred stars and it is an absolute slap to the FACE to every one of you and the legacies you are building and are holding on to to come in and ruin our matches and disrupt our performances and call us the degenerates when they can’t even give us the common courtesy of standing in the ring and handing us a challenge. They blindsided you and then they spit on your NAMES! The AUDACITY!
With a deep breath, Bert stiffened up to the attention position.
BERT: But the strongest know when to admit that we were defeated, no matter the excuse. Unfortunately for Hell Realm, a win of the battle does not mean they have even come close to WINNING. THIS. WAR! A war not only for the name of our families… this is an attack on the business we helped build. And I will not stand idly by while they tear down what WE. HELPED. BUILD! ARE YOU WITH ME?
The group gave a very hearty “AYE!” in response to the motivational speech.
BERT: THEN GUNS UP, LET’S DO THIISSSS!
All four of them rose up together in unison and started to storm the door, Bert leading the charge. The games had begun.

SINGLES MATCH Adrestia Nyx vs. Switchblxde
The next contest was meant to be a singles match but both competitors came with their respective gangs. Adrestia Nyx made her entrance first to the tune of "The Glass Alice" by The Enigma TNG and she was accompanied by the rest of The Hell Realm; Locke Helms, Ryan Terror, Astaroth, and Monstruo. The quintet slowly made their way to the ring as The Citadel gave responded with a collective “Fuck off!” energy.
"Mercury" by Ghostemane kicked up and The Citadel came alive as Switchblxde walked out onto the stage with Bert Cocaine slinking in front of him -- still in his general garb. Michael Sharpe, Jenna Sharpe, and Kasey Kash all appeared behind Switch and the five of them came to the ring.
PETRIE: It’s like gangland out here right now Mears! You’d have thought that the fuckin’ Sharpe clan had learned their lesson last week when they got put through some flaming tables but apparently not!
MEARS: They are a proud family. You knew they wouldn’t take that assault laying down.
Hell Realm opted to stand behind the ring, directly across from the ramp. The two groups had a staredown from the outside, through the ring. Nyx walked up the ring steps and entered, as did Switch. The two competitors in the ring and the referee, who looked nervous as hell, called for the bell.
It was immediate, Nyx and Switch rushed one another and immediately came to blows. Nyx was known for her wild brawling style but Switch was just a bit wilder. Switch was throwing insane punches and one caught Nyx right in the ear, She staggered backward and tried to compose herself.
MEARS: All things considered, I am quite excited to see Switchblade in his first singles contest!
PETRIE: Come on Mears you know we aren’t getting a definitive conclusion to this match.
MEARS: They may surprise you!
PETRIE: I’d be surprised if this goes two more minutes without some bullshit.
Switch gave Nyx no quarter, he was pissed right off. Switch threw himself at Nyx but she responded with a series of lightning fast slaps and chops, alternating between them. When Switch was sufficiently rocked, Nyx smashed him with a spinning back fist to complete her Knuckles, Bitch combination.
The Alpha Bitch was in control and she took a moment to taunt the rest of the Sharpe clan. Bert got up on the apron with his swagger stick, waving it like a mad man. The referee got in his face and that provided Nyx the opportunity to hit Switch with a low blow.
PETRIE: And there it is. Some bullshit. Glorious bullshit.
Switch staggered around the ring holding his garbage and Nyx quickly pulled him back into the Phoenix Twist (Rolling Cutter). Nyx covered but the referee was preoccupied with Bert! Astaroth jumped up on the apron and started shouting for the referee. The ref turned and slid into his count position.
1..!
MEARS: Switchblxde says no way!
PETRIE: He’s lucky that idiot Bert Cocaine is out here or that was for sure the end of this match.
Switch was able to kick out but Nyx mounted him. Before Nyx could get a single punch off, Switch bucked her forward, hit the ropes and then blasted her with the Concussion (running knee to the back of the head). Nyx was rattled by that shot and Switch went for a cover but Astaroth had the referee distracted now. Bert screamed for the referee to pay attention and once again the ref slid in to make a count.
PETRIE: No! Come on!
1..!
MEARS: And Astaroth gives Nyx the opportunity to recover before getting pinned. We need some order out here, this is getting ridiculous.
PETRIE: You didn’t say shit when Bert got involved so can it.
Nyx kicked out and Bert was freaking out on the apron. As was Astaroth. Switch himself, well, he had had just about enough of this shit. Switch blasted Astaroth with a massive right hand that took the spooky luchador off the apron. Switch got Nyx up and sent her sailing over the top rope. Nyx landed with a thud on the outside -- right in front of the entire Sharpe clan.
Before The Hell Realm could make a move to come to Nyx’s aid, Switch threw himself over the top rope with a wild slingshot splash, taking all four of them down! Almost if on cue, the Sharpe clan started beating on Nyx and the referee had no choice but to throw the match out.
Winner: No Contest
Security flooded the ringside area almost immediately. Twenty security guards filled the ringside area in an effort to separate the warring parties. We cut to commercial as security tried to restore order. The referee just stood with his hands on his hips, shaking his head.

SINGLES MATCH
Locke Helms vs. Kasey Kash
Back from commercial break and security had managed to get control of the situation. The referee put his hand to his ear and nodded in response to the information that he was getting. The referee called out to Locke Helms and Kasey Kash who were both being restrained and beckoned them both to enter the ring.
Kasey was more than ready to fight and he immediately slid into the ring as the rest of the Sharpe clan cheered him on. Helms was a bit more thoughtful about getting into the fight. He took his time walking up the steps. As soon as he went to enter the ring, Kasey moved towards him and Helms paused.
MEARS: Kasey Kash really wants to get this match started.
PETRIE: Don’t know why he’s got beef. He isn’t a Sharpe and Helms had nothing to do with that attack last week.
MEARS: I don’t think that Kasey cares. He is in close with the Sharpes and he is prepared to go to war with them.
Helms gestured for the referee to keep Kasey back and the referee was forced to oblige. Kasey was clearly unhappy with it but he backed away and gestured for Helms to get in the ring and fight. Helms took his time, knowing that it was pissing The Resident Asshole off more and more with every passing second.
Once Helms was finally in the ring, Kasey rushed him but Helms met him with a stiff European uppercut. Helms shot in on Kash and looked to attempt the Witching Hour early but Kash slipped behind him and hit him with a high angle flipping dropkick to the back of the head.
MEARS: A win here for Kasey would ---
PETRIE: Mears. Just don’t.
MEARS: You’re probably right.
Helms staggered towards the ropes, where the Sharpe clan was standing. Rocco was the loudest of the bunch, shouting obscenities at Helms but The Chairman of Chaos didn’t seem to care. Helms turned around just in time to see Kasey running at him. Helms dropped his head and hip checked Kasey over the top rope onto the apron.
Helms went to engage Kasey but was met with a hard shot to the face. Kasey then positioned Helms for a suplex over the top rope to the floor but at the last second Helms blocked it and landed on the apron beside him. Helms cracked Kasey with another European uppercut.
MEARS: Dangerous territory for Locke here. He is walking the plank above a sea of Sharpes!
PETRIE: Great white Sharpes?
MEARS: Uh...no comment.
The Sharpe clan continued to shout obscenities at Helms so Helms positioned Kasey and took him off of the apron with Diamond Rain (Spanish Fly) and landed on all four members of the Sharpe family! This was the prompt that Hell Realm was looking for and they charged to attack. The two gangs collided again and security tried to get involved to break it up. The referee sighed, shook his head, and threw this match out too.
Winner: No Contest
No music played because the chaos at ringside was insane. Everyone paired off and started brawling, even Bert got into the mix as he whacked Astaroth repeatedly with his swagger stick. Security tried to break it all up but the two factions were dead set on attacking each other. We cut to a vignette as security once again tried to restore order.

An empty locker room.
???: It's been awhile, ain't it, folks?
A thick Southern accent was heard.
???: But don't worry, I was fine. I needed to take a break to get my head straight.
The former OATH Intrepid Champion and reigning Event Horizon winner, James Edwards, walked toward the locker with a bag slung over his left shoulder.
EDWARDS: There are a few things you can do when you lose the biggest fight of your life. You can make excuses. You can holler for a rematch until your voice dies. Or you can walk away.
Edwards placed the bag in the locker and leaned back against it.
EDWARDS: I walked away. I took some time off and relaxed. I didn't do jack shit for a few weeks except think. The first thing I thought about was the world championship. I still want it, and at some point in the next year, I will win it. The same way that I will finally beat Reo Ojima. Those things are a damn long way away, though. So what's next?
Edwards remained an odd mix of relaxed and serious.
EDWARDS: I thought about that long and hard too, and one thing stood out to me. The way I see it, in this sport, the worst thing you can do is hit a man from behind when he's down, which is exactly what Leah Aguero did to me. I don't care about the why, just that she did something that spat in the face of what makes our sport great, hell not only our sport but any sport period, and that's if you have a grudge you can settle one-on-one by proving who the better athlete is. There are a lot of ways I could've responded. I could've gotten even by sending her ass to the hospital, or I could've ranted on Twitter, but neither of those things are part of who I am. I'm a fighter. I get even by proving I'm the better man in the ring, and the best way for me to get even with Leah is to fight and beat her for the Tabula Rasa Championship at Violent Ends.
He pulled out a plate with his name on it and slid it into a slot on the locker.
EDWARDS: And you damn well better believe I'm walking out the better fighter.

The office of sitting OATH President Tommy Straker. He sat behind his mahogany desk and was watching a live feed from the ring. Security was still trying to separate The Hell Realm and Sharpe faction. Straker didn’t appear to be displeased in the least. He looked like he was enjoying the mayhem.
STRAKER: It seems that the concert was a wonderful idea after all. Our fans were spared the musical stylings of The Runaways and now we have quite the interesting situation between their whole family and The Hell Realm.
Straker pushed his fingers together in a pyramid, thinking.
STRAKER: An issue that clearly needs to be settled. I imagine that if I put all ten of them in the same match then it will result in a war like we are seeing right now so perhaps it is best to split them up. The issue between Locke and Jenna seems much more personal to me.
His eyes drifted to a bowl of fruit on a side table. He smirked that devilish smirk.
STRAKER: Next week at Violent Ends, Locke Helms will face Jenna Sharpe in a one on one contest. All Sharpe and Hell Realm associates will be barred from ringside, to ensure that we see a winner in that contest.
A quick pan to the monitor showed that security had almost regained control.
STRAKER: We will also see Kasey Kash team up with The Runaways to take on Ryan Terror, Adrestia Nyx, and Monstruo in a Trios Match, operating under lucha libre rules. Helms and Jenna will be barred from ringside for this contest. Astaroth and Bert Cocaine are welcome to be at ringside for that match but should either of them get involved in any way -- they will both be barred from OATH events for a full year.
He knew that decision would not be greeted positively and looked forward to complaints from Bert Cocaine.
STRAKER: I look forward to seeing which faction comes out on top. I will have a very unique reward waiting for the winners of each contest.
Straker shooed the camera away.

• MAIN EVENT •
TAG TEAM MATCH ONI vs. Sweet Treats
The main event was set to begin with the entrance of OATH World Champion “The Stone Gargoyle” Reo Ojima and the OATH Tabula Rasa Champion “War Queen” Leah Aguero -- ONI. The two came out onto the stage, both wearing their custom masks. The two marched to the ring, all business. Once in the ring, Ojima chilled in a corner and made the referee come to him to retrieve his title. When the referee asked for Aguero’s TR Title, she lobbed it at his feet. The fans were not about that show of disrespect for the title but Aguero didn’t give a shit.
The crowd erupted as Sweet Treats came out onto the stage as "Hypa Hypa" by Eskimo Callboy played throughout The Citadel. It was clear that Alex Andrews and Kallie Reznik had the full support of the fans in the arena tonight. Neither Aguero nor Ojima really seemed to give a shit. Sweet Treats made their way to the ring and to their great relief -- there were no signs of their obsessive fans, the Sweet Boys, anywhere.
MEARS: I am told that given what happened between the Sharpes and the Hell Realm earlier, Mr. Straker felt that having any members of the Sweet Boys in the crowd tonight would be a bad idea. They were all escorted to a private box to watch the main event.
PETRIE: That’s all you have to do to get a private box? Just be an incel? Amazing.
MEARS: I thought you liked them?
PETRIE: Yeah but they are what they are.
Both teams were in the ring and Ojima opted to let Aguero start the match against Andrews. The bell rang and Andrews cautiously came to the middle of the ring while Aguero simply stood in the ONI corner with a cocked eyebrow. Andrews didn’t dare go any further, lest she fall into an ONI trap.
Aguero sighed and came out of her corner, but Andrews caught her with a hard forearm to the face. With Aguero monetarily rocked, Andrews shot her across the ring and on her return Andrews took her down with a deep arm drag and immediately applied a chin lock.
PETRIE: Why is this match even happening? A tune up for for the champs?
MEARS: Sweet Treats have proven that they are formidable team.
PETRIE: Yeah but...come on.
The War Queen looked more irritated than anything until Andrews really sunk the hold in. Aguero fought up to her feet and hit an elbow to Andrews’ midsection which broke the hold. Aguero shot Andrews into the ropes with an Irish whip but Andrews held on to the top rope and that gave Reznik the chance to make the blind tag.
The Tabula Rasa Champion advanced on Andrews, having not seen the tag and got caught with a hook kick from Reznik. Andrews called to her partner and they nailed Aguero with Double Elysiums (Running Bicycle Kicks) that dropped the War Queen. Reznik slid into a cover.
MEARS: Excellent move from Sweet Treats! On a tag team specialist no less.
PETRIE: Wake up Mears. Aguero has left her cousin Stephanie Matsuda in the dust. The Inevitable are dead!
1..
2..!
MEARS: But Leah is not.
Ojima made no movement to enter the ring, he was confident that Leah would kick out. Reznik gave Aguero space to stand and when she did Reznik caught her with a high flipping dropkick to the face. Aguero dropped but sat right up, trying to shake off the strike. Reznik made the tag to Andrews.
With Aguero seated in the center of the ring, Sweet Treats sandwiched her with double dropkicks to the face and back of the head. Andrews went to cover but Aguero rolled onto her stomach. It was at this moment that a figure appeared at the top of the ramp with a steel chair. Stephanie Matsuda unfolded the chair and placed it at the top of the ramp. Matsuda sat down to watch her cousin.
MEARS: Would you look at this. Leah did the same thing to Stephanie last week.
PETRIE: So Steph is unoriginal is what you are saying.
MEARS: Not at all.
Aguero looked up to see her cousin but instead of appearing angry, Aguero smiled. Andrews got Aguero up but was surprised with a European uppercut. Aguero slipped behind Andrews and planted her with a snap German suplex! Aguero then backed into her corner and tagged in the World Champion.
The Stone Gargoyle entered the ring and the audience didn’t boo him -- the collective seemed more concerned for Andrews. Lady Limitless got to her feet and saw who was standing in the ring with her. Ojima dropped his hands and offered her a free shot. Andrews, nowhere close to her corner, opted to take the World Champion up on his offer.
MEARS: Do not do it Alex!
PETRIE: Yeah do it! See what happens!
Andrews threw a shot at Ojima but he easily blocked it and smashed her with a headbutt to the face. Ojima grabbed Andrews wrist and planted her with a Double A spinebuster. Ojima saw Matsuda at the top of the ramp and glanced over to Aguero, mouthing “The fuck she want?”. Aguero shrugged and Ojima went back to work on Andrews.
The World Champion stood Andrews up and clapped for her in mocking fashion. Ojima then whipped Andrews so hard across the ring into a corner that when she hit the turnbuckles you would swear that the ring moved. Ojima leisurely sauntered over to the corner and then laid into Andrews with One Thousand Cuts (Multiple Slaps To the Face). Each slap caused The Citadel to boo him louder.
MEARS: I love it when he does that.
Likely to conserve his energy, Ojima lazily tagged in Aguero and she entered the ring. Aguero brought Andrews out of the corner, glanced up at Matsuda, and then whipped Andrews across the ring. On Lady Limitless’ return Aguero blasted her with a big boot. Aguero fell into a cover, staring at Matsuda on the ramp.
1..
2..
..!
Andrews kicked out just as a second figure appeared at the top of the ramp. The man who would face Aguero at Violent Ends for the Tabula Rasa Championship joined Matsuda at the top of the ramp. James Edwards stood with his arms crossed. Aguero saw him and this pissed her off. Aguero gathered Andrews up and set her up for Drop The Bomb but Andrews wriggled free and dropped Aguero with an Ace Crusher!
PETRIE: Oh look, The Burning Fart has come out of hiding!
MEARS: Not your best.
PETRIE: I know.
MEARS: Here is the opportunity that Sweet Treats need. Alex needs to make a tag.
PETRIE: Get up War Queen!
MEARS: You sound nervous.
PETRIE: You sound… shut up.
Kallie reached out for Andrews and the audience tried to cheer her on the best they could. Andrews got up to one foot, dove, and tagged in Kallie. Reznik entered the ring and blasted Aguero with a bicycle kick to the face which sent her right into Alex’s awaiting arms. Alex got Aguero up in a fireman’s carry and then Kallie ran in and caught Aguero with a ddt to complete their Pop Lock and Drop It combination. Kallie covered.
1..
2..
..!
Ojima entered the ring and delivered a huge stomp to the back of Kallie’s head to break up the pin. Edwards and Matsuda watched from the ramp. Ojima saw Edwards and gave his rival a little wave...before he flipped him off. As Ojima went back to get on the apron, he noticed that yet another person was at ringside. And they were holding his World Championship.
PETRIE: Get out of here you idiot! The Champ is busy!
MEARS: I don’t think Matt cares.
Matt Shields had made his way through the crowd undetected and he was holding the title that he called “Blanche”, whispering to it. Ojima screwed his face up in disbelief. He dropped off the apron and advanced on Shields. Shields could sense Ojima coming but his attention was on the title.
In the ring Kallie tagged Alex back in and they both went after Aguero, seeing that Ojima was distracted. They quickly set up and hit Aguero with Skittle Scramble (Backstabber [Alex] into Eclipse [Kallie])! Edwards and Matsuda watched on as Alex covered the Tabula Rasa Champion. Ojima heard the count start and went to get in the ring but Shields hit him in the back of the head with the World Title!
1..
2..
..3!
Winners: Sweet Treats
"Hypa Hypa" by Eskimo Callboy cued up and The Citadel exploded! Sweet Treats had just defeated two of the top champions in the company! Their fans could not believe it. Alex and Kallie embraced in the ring. James Edwards and Stephanie Matsuda whispered to one another at the top of the ramp. They both shook their heads before leaving through the curtain.
MEARS: They have done it! Sweet Treats just beat the Tabula Rasa and World Champions!
PETRIE: You have GOT to be fucking kidding me.
On the outside of the ring, Ojima was laid out and the back of his head was busted open from the shot from the World Title. Shields kissed the title and set it down on the timekeeper’s table before he turned his attention back to the champion.
MEARS: It appears that Matt Shields is not done. We need to get out of here Bad Mood.
PETRIE: Yep!
Shields hauled Ojima up and rolled him into the announce table. Shields kept him subdued with some heavy strikes and then climbed up there with him. Petrie and Mears ran to safety as Shields stood Ojima up and held him by the chin.
SHIELDS: I. WILL. RESCUE. BLANCHE!
Shields slapped Ojima in the face and then dropped him with Hellhound's Bite (Gory Neckbreaker) through the announce table. Both men lay in the rubble for a moment before Shields got up to a knee and took in the destruction that he had caused as Conviction 38 went off the air.
