Episode 15
December 9th, 2020
The Citadel in Toronto, Ontario

The fifteenth episode of OATH Pro Wrestling Livewire had finally arrived and every human being on the planet earth rejoiced. Following the champion’s signature we cut to the electric blue tinted opening. Set to “Sabotage” by Cancer Bats we saw a montage that featured OATH stars such as Johnny Draco, AJ Jenkynx, Sydney St. Clair, Kirios Hunt, The Crawfords, Social Elite, Maverick, Cass Baumer, Cassidy Kane and lastly the Livewire Champion himself El Diablo Blanco.
O’NEIL: Welcome wrestling fans to another electric episode of OATH Pro Wrestling Livewire. I am May O’Neil and I am alongside a man who may or may not still be a floor manager at Top Shop, Vince Valerie!
VALERIE: I told you that I handed in my resignation months ago. They did not appreciate my talents.
O’NEIL: I heard that you were fired for stealing socks.
VALERIE: Lies and disinformation. Some real information I have is that we have an exquisite card tonight. The show will begin with a 4 Way Tag Team contest between The Blacklist, The Crawfords, Dynamic Duo, and Ultramega UK.
O’NEIL: Whomever wins that match is going to jump up in the tag team rankings. I can’t wait to see who comes out of that match with the win. A win tonight will be a massive statement for Johnny Draco or Sydney St. Clair when they face off later tonight. I am told that Mr. Barlow has a very special opportunity waiting for several competitors at Catalyst next week.
VALERIE: I have heard the same rumors and I am torn whether I want AJ Jenkynx or Maverick to get said opportunity. Maverick has had some vicious comments for Mr. Jenkynx, however, Mr. Jenkynx has the guiding hand of Jonathan Cage behind him so that contest should be very interesting.
O’NEIL: Following that the hot new tag team of Cass Baumer and Cassidy Kane will take on the most hated people on Livewire, The Social Elite.
VALERIE: They are not hated. That is just propaganda that has been distributed by the likes of St. Clair and Kirios Hunt. Hunt needs to focus on the main event tonight as she challenges El Diablo Blanco for the Livewire Championship. She has lost to him before and if her mind is on the Social Elite then she will lose again.
O’NEIL: Was that praise for our champion?
VALERIE: No. He is an idiot. But he is finding ways to win and it’s disgusting. I don’t like seeing him, I don’t like hearing his voice. When he showed up on Conviction to challenge OATH World Champion Reo Ojima last week he made us all look foolish.
O’NEIL: It’s been said that there are no wrong opinions but I have to say that yours sounds quite wrong. And you are about to be disappointed because our broadcast colleague Kendrick Bingham is backstage with the Livewire Champion El Diablo Blanco. This is Livewire 15 baby. So ramblers, let’s get ramblin’.

El Diablo Blanco was backstage at The Citadel preparing for his upcoming defense of the Livewire Title against Kirios Hunt. Already fully dressed for the match, he was jumping rope to get his heart rate up. As we came in closer, we saw Kendrick Bingham was nearby to address the champion. Upon noticing Kendrick, El Diablo ceased his exercises.
BLANCO: Good Day, Brother. How are you Mr. Bingham?
BINGHAM: Please, call me Kendrick. Every day we’re breathing is a good day, El D.
BLANCO: That it is. What can I do for you, Brother?
BINGHAM: I don’t want to take up too much of your time as I know you are preparing for tonight’s main event. It is bound to be one of the best Livewire Title defenses to date. I wanted to speak with you regarding this past week’s Conviction where you confronted the OATH World Champion, Reo Ojima.
BLANCO: There’s not much to say, Brother. I laid it all out there on Conviction.
BINGHAM: Still, just to recap, Reo Ojima laid out the challenge for anyone to come out. In the past several months there have been many of OATH talent that called their shot or put themselves into a position to go against the leader of the ONI. It seemed as though no one was going to answer that challenge until you made your presence on a show that you aren’t even assigned to. I understand the idea of “brand supremacy” but why target Reo Ojima?
BLANCO: Listen here, Brother. Since I came to OATH, Mr. Ojima has had an ironclad grip on that OATH World Title and he has done that through some rather unsavory methods from time to time. He has ridiculed talent, manipulated those around him and, from the looks of some of the pictures he has posted online, has done some deplorable things to that World Title, Brother.
BINGHAM: Yes, unfortunately, we’ve all seen the nude photo where he has the title laid over his private area; multiple times. Still, he was calling for challengers for the World Title and yet you stated you didn’t want the World Title?
BLANCO: It is everyone’s dream in this business to become a World Champion; whether it be a singles or tag team. Yes, Brother, there is such a thing as a World Tag Team Champion. It’s not where I would never want to be World Champion but right now, this right here -pointed to Livewire Title- this is my World Title. I have seen countless times that my fellow compatriots here in OATH have used this title to springboard over to Conviction as if it were a stepping stone to something bigger. It’s as though they are disrespecting not only this title but this brand.
BINGHAM: Reo Ojima, for one, appears to have not taken your challenge seriously. Do you feel it is where he doesn’t respect the Livewire brand, or just you as a challenger?
BLANCO: I don’t believe Reo knows what respect is, Brother. He certainly hasn’t demonstrated around these parts in quite some time. Instead, he chooses to patronize his opponents. But get this right, Brother. I’m no challenger to his title. He came down to that ring looking for a challenger. Instead, he ended up with El D being the one laying down the challenge. Reo vs El D. Their champion vs our champion. It’s not about the titles, Brother. I just want to show that our “brand” is just as superior to their “brand” which is led by the biggest bully of them all.
BINGHAM: You laid down the challenge but as of now we are unaware as to if he has even accepted. On Conviction he simply walked on past you without a response. What do you make of that?
BLANCO: Well, Brother, I’ve said what I’ve wanted to and the challenge has been laid out. It’s in Mr. Ojima’s hands now. He can either accept it or show that he’s a… chicken.
BINGHAM: I’m not so positive that statement will sit well with our World Champion but I’d like to shift gears a bit here for a moment. Before any potential showdown with Reo Ojima, tonight you have a Livewire Title match against Kirios Hunt; someone you are no stranger to. What sort of strategy do you have going into a defense such as this?
BLANCO: The same strategy I have every night, defense or not, Brother. I give it my all and leave everything I’ve got in the ring. Mrs. Hunt and I have developed a bit of mutual respect leading up to and after our first encounter. We both had our eyes on this Livewire Title and we fought to see who would challenge for the strap. I came out on the winning end during that encounter. We’ve come to know each other. We’ve studied each other’s tapes. She’s almost like an unofficial member of the Diablo Nation. She’s a sweet girl, Brother, with a tenacity that is unparalleled. I’ve fought Johnathan Cage. I’ve battled the Social Elite. I’ve gone toe to toe with Maverick. Tonight is a match unlike any of those other matches. It’s not about disrespecting your opponent. It’s not about occupying head space. No, Brother, tonight is about two athletes putting everything they have into this Livewire Title. If that doesn’t scream respect for the brand then I don’t know what does. This strap has been on the line every week; unlike the World Title. This is a championship you don’t just win but you elevate. Diggit?!
BINGHAM: I can certainly Diggit, El D. I know both Kirios and yourself are not afraid to go above and beyond tonight for the Livewire Title and I look forward to watching it from the monitors backstage. For now, I’ll let you get back to your preparations.
BLANCO: Thank you, Brother. Stay tuned because Mrs. Hunt and I are going to tear it up tonight, Brother.
El Diablo Blanco offers up a fist bump Kendrick Bingham who obliged. El Diablo nodded and shot a smile to Kendrick as he returned to his jump rope.

TAG TEAM MATCH
The Blacklist vs. The Crawfords vs. Dynamic Duo vs. Ultramega UK
A cluster fuck to say the least. The rules of this four way tag team match were that only two people could be in the ring at a time and that you could tag anyone. That lasted for maybe a minute when Nas started the match off against Nicky Crawford. Nas targeted Nicky’s injured head right off the bat but Ultramega UK decided that they didn’t want to wait to be tagged in.
VALERIE: Bucking convention! What an intelligent thing to do.
O’NEIL: Breaking the rules of the match a minute in?
VALERIE: Ultramega UK -- trailblazers.
From there it was mayhem. Ultramega UK entered the ring and took Nas down with a tandem clothesline. Nero Darkbringer entered the match to help his partner and he did just that by hitting a uranage that planted Curt Kornell. Nas sent Eddie Kobain to the outside and then The Blacklist went to work on Nicky.
Kornell rolled out of the ring and rejoined his partner. Not content with the chaos that they had already caused, Kobain and Kornell tried to yank Serenity Scorpio off of the apron. She caught them both with a mule kick to their respective face. Scorpio and Jocelyn Sky conferred with one another briefly and then hit a double Asai moonsault from the apron down onto Ultramega UK.
Nas and Nero were putting a beat down on Nicky, targeting his head yet again. Erika could only watch her brother get his dome whacked for so long and ultimately entered the ring to take Nas and Nero down with a springboard double dropkick.
O’NEIL: It took some time but The Resident Good Girl has decided to join the fray!
VALERIE: She was so concerned with observing the rules that she allowed her brother to get thrashed by two people!
O’NEIL: She doesn’t like to break the rules.
VALERIE: That is not the attitude of a champion!
O’NEIL: The Livewire Champion doesn’t break the rules either.
VALERIE: Erroneous!
Ultramega UK and Dynamite Duo kept brawling on the outside. Scorpio and Sky broke free and blasted Kobain with a Double Yahtzee (Double Superkick). Dynamic Duo turned their attention to Kornell and he in turn decided to try and run away. Dynamic Duo gave chase.
In the ring Erika and Nicky sent Nas flying over the top rope to the floor. They dropped Nas with dual kicks to both of his knees and then blasted him with Project Crawford (Meet in the Middle)! Nicky went for a cover but Nas got hit with a blind tag -- from Kobain.
VALERIE: That tag may have saved the match!
O’NEIL: But now he has to face both Crawfords.
On the outside the Dynamic Duo were taken out when Kornell dropkicked the ring steps into both of them. Feeling pleased with himself, Kornell didn’t see Nas pop up behind him and fell victim to Nas’ Ether Classic (Yakuza Kick).
Back in the ring, Kobain entered the ring to try to get the jump on The Crawfords but The Crawfords surprised him with a double hip toss which led to Kobain getting planted with the Dingley Village Destroyer (Assisted Canadian Destroyer). Nicky covered and the Dingley Villagers picked up a massive tag team victory.
CRYBABY: Here are your winners, The Crawfords!
The fans cheered as "Zombie" by Bad Wolves kicked up. Erika and Nicky got their arms raised in victory. The other three teams regrouped outside the ring and glared at the team that had trumped them. They weren’t happy. Not at all.

Near the production area, the victorious tandem of Erika and Nicky Crawford had just walked through the curtain. The siblings were all smiles, knowing that they had just defeated three tag teams in one match and that would surely move them up the card. The future was looking bright. But their celebration was short lived when the trio of Angel Kash, Summer, and Tiffany Lynn Page walked into frame. Erika looked ready to fight but Nicky held her back.
ANGEL: How is the head Nicky? Are you still feeling a lot of pain?
SUMMER: Champagne? Haha.
TIFFANY: Hilarious.
ANGEL: Very funny. You should write that down.
Angel turned back to The Crawfords and cocked an eyebrow. Her smile went from genuine to forced as she addressed the siblings.
ANGEL: We just wanted to congratulate the two of you. Beating those three teams must have been very difficult for you. Considering that your training was… -laughs- well we’ll just say that you were on a budget.
All three members of the Social Elite started laughing obnoxiously. Erika went to respond but Summer held up an index finger to silence her.
SUMMER: Do not speak. We are not finished belittling you. Truth is, we are here with a message. We had a private meeting with Mr. Barlow and he informed us that should we defeat the Dollar Store pairing of Cass Baumer and Cassidy Kane tonight...then we will face you at Catalyst for a Tag Team Title Match in January.
Tiffany started clapping as if she had just heard a gut busting joke.
TIFFANY: -laughing- So if you are capable of reading between the lines, he essentially told us that we would be facing you. Because the Goodwill Girls have no chance at beating Summer and Angel. So get ready Little Orphans, at Catalyst we’re going to elevate your standing by virtue of you being in the ring with the Social Elite.
Tiffany started chortling again when another client of hers walked into frame. Johnny Draco, a man who couldn't be more different from Summer and Angel, seemed to be irritated by Tiffany’s activities.
DRACO: If you’re finished, I have a match.
The cold words from Draco and the abrupt departure caused Tiffany to look somewhat frantic as she chased after her client.

SINGLES MATCH
Johnny Draco vs. Sydney St. Clair
Johnny Draco made his return to Livewire next and came out to a great reaction. “Kumbaya” by Hopsin played Draco to the ring. Draco was a few paces ahead of his manager Tiffany Lynn Page, she was struggling to keep up with him. “The Weapons Grade PAWG” Sydney St. Clair wasted no time getting to the ring, looking to redeem herself for the loss that she suffered against AJ Jenkynx last week.
VALERIE: Am I detecting some dissension between Johnny Draco and Tiffany Lynn Page?
O’NEIL: It’s hard to say. I mean, I don’t know how she can manage Social Elite and Johnny Draco. Draco is nothing like the fucking Mean Girls.
VALERIE: Perhaps if he was more like them then he would be a champion.
There was a show of respect off the hop as St. Clair and Draco slapped hands. Draco took the early advantage with a side headlock takedown. Draco kept St. Clair on the mat for a good portion of time and when she fought up to her feet, Draco was able to quickly respond with The Serenity Prayer (Cross Rhodes) for a near fall.
St. Clair turned the tide back in her favour with a Kappo kick and then dropped Draco with Aerial Ace (Springboard Cutter). Draco was groggy from that combination. Draco was able to get to his feet and got into a boxing stance. St. Clair engaged him but got cracked with a right cross that dropped her.
Draco took a moment to shake of the damage to his melon. St. Clair went to engage him again but he blasted her with a right cross and then barrage of jabs to the midsection. Draco put St. Clair on the mat with a brainbuster and then went to the otp rope. Careful not to pander to the fans, Draco came off the top with The Killswitch (Corkscrew 450° Splash)! He hit it perfectly and hooked St. Clair’s leg.
VALERIE: Good night Ms. St. Clair and thank you for attending.
O’NEIL: Don’t get her coat just yet!
The Weapons Grade PAWG kicked out at the very last second. Draco looked surprised but Tiffany was beside herself. Tiffany got on the apron and started arguing with the referee. Tiffany screamed “Count properly!” and that got Draco’s attention. He made his way over to his partner’s place on the apron and he did not look pleased.
St. Clair was getting to her feet as Draco instructed his manager to get off the apron. Tiffany screamed, “I’m trying to help you!” but Draco didn’t care. This distraction gave St. Clair the opportunity to sneak up behind Draco and roll him up!
The fans cheered as Draco kicked out at the absolute last second. St. Clair held her index finger and thumb to Draco saying, “That close!” and that prompted Draco to go into overdrive. Draco locked up with St. Clair and took her down with a bulldog. Draco set St. Clair up for the Mic Drop (Skull Crushing Finale) but she slipped out of it, hit the ropes, and planted him with a Rolling Thunder Jumping DDT! St. Clair was quick up to the top rope and she came off with Radiant Star Implosion (Shooting Star Senton) and the pinfall for the victory.
CRYBABY: Here is your winner, “The Weapons Grade PAWG” Sydney St. Clair!
“Weather Man” by Dead Sara kicked up and St. Clair got her hand raised. She was overjoyed to have bounced back from her loss last week. You could practically see her confidence spiking. Draco on the other hand slowly sat up and seemed quite disappointed. Tiffany entered the ring to comfort him but Draco rolled out of the ring and walked up the ramp alone.

In the hastily put together Livewire Interview area, new backstage correspondent Audrey Abrams stood with perfect posture, holding the microphone with both hands down in front of her. She took a deep breath.
ABRAMS: Hello wrestling fans, I am Audrey Abrams and at this time my guest is the man who challenged El Diablo Blanco last week for the Livewire Championship -- in a losing effort -- “The King of Pro Wrestling” Maverick.
Maverick walked into frame and seemed irritated by Abrams’ introduction.
ABRAMS: Maverick, how are you feeling after failing to capture the Livewire Championship last week? Are you considering giving up wrestling entirely?
Abrams shoved the microphone into Maverick’s face. He seemed taken aback by Abrams’ forcefulness.
MAVERICK: Where the fuck did they find you? No I’m not quitting, why the fuck would you say that? So what, I fucking lost to some stupid cunt in a mask. I’ll get another shot and I’ll put him in the fucking hospital. Just like I’m gonna put AJ Jenkynx in the hospital. I am pissed of and I am going to fucking bury this asshole.
Maverick started pacing back and forth like some kind of caged beast. A wolf perhaps. Abrams just kept nodding at him.
ABRAMS: You certainly have a way with words. Can I ask you what you have heard about Mr. Barlow’s upcoming announcement. Have you heard any of the rumors that are going around about it being --
Abrams was cut off when she noticed that Maverick had become distracted. The shot widened to show Sydney St. Clair walking toward them. Coming off a victory, St. Clair was looking much happier than the last time she ran into Maverick.
ST. CLAIR: Hey Mav. Tough break last week buddy. I watched your match and it was the strangest thing. You said that I would feel better about losing to Jenkynx when I saw you win the Livewire Title, right? But what happened was that I felt a lot better when you lost. Crazy huh?
Maverick took a step forward, he was now face to face with St. Clair.
MAVERICK: How fucking nice for you. You should keep watching my matches because tonight I’m gonna do when you couldn’t last week. I’m gonna beat the dogshit out of AJ Jenkynx and then whatever “big opportunity” Barlow announces will have to involve me. Fuck off.
Even though he told St. Clair to “fuck off”, Maverick was the first to step off. Probably because he had a match tonight and it was next. Probably.

SINGLES MATCH AJ Jenkynx vs. Maverick
The next match started before the bell! Wacky. Maverick attacked AJ Jenknyx as the latter was en route to the ring. Maverick smashed Jenkynx’s face into the guard rail and then dropped him with a snap suplex on the ramp. When Jenkynx tried to get up to his feet Maverick hit him with a running punt to the ribs.
The two eventually got into the ring and the referee called for the match to begin. Maverick stayed on Jenyknx, smashing him with a palm strike and then a spinning back kick. With Jenkynx doubled over, Maverick easily hit him with a snapmare and then a running knee strike to the spin. Jenkynx rolled around the ring in agony. Maverick watched him for a moment, pleased.
VALERIE: I do not want to repeat the things that King Maverick said on Twitter but it is clear that he does not care for Mr. Jenkynx in the least.
O'NEIL: The Citadel doesn't care for Maverick by the sound of things in here.
After spitting on the mat like an asshole, Maverick gathered Jenkynx up and hit him with a spinning hook kick to the midsection. Maverick set Jenkynx up and then drove him into the mat with Dark Harvest (Single Arm Underhook Brainbuster)! Jenkynx’s eyes were crossed when Maverick pinned him and screamed at the referee to count.
VALERIE: I am shocked that Mr. Jenkynx was able to kick out of that. King Maverick is giving him no quarter in this match.
O'NEIL: Maverick is pretty salty about losing last week. He's taking it out on The Sinner. You have to wonder if Jenkynx would be doing better with Jonathan Cage at ringside.
The Sinner was able to kick out. The Citadel booed. In fact they had been booing all match, they hate both of these guys but still they respected the action. Balance. Maverick rained down some shots onto Jenkynx’s dome before he was shoved backward into the ropes. Maverick used the momentum and charged at Jenkynx only to get knocked loopy with a roundhouse kick from Jenkynx.
After taking a moment for himself, Jenkynx pounced on Maverick and started hitting him with a barrage of wild blows. Maverick did the best that he could to cover up but a leaping knee strike to his chin rattled the self-proclaimed King of Professional Wrestling. Jenkynx set Maverick up and then rocked him with Wicked Sins (End Of Heartache)! Jenkynx made a cover.
O'NEIL: Imagine how pissed Maverick would have been if he didn't kick out just there.
VALERIE: I feel like if that were to happen then our audience would get the equivalent of a Master's education in cursing from King Maverick.
Following Maverick’s kick out Jenkynx hauled him up to his feet and then doubled him over with a gut boot. Jenkynx applied a butterfly and was looking for his Broken Dreams (Tiger Driver) but Maverick freed one of his arms and hit Jenkynx with a low blow that the referee didn’t see! Maverick quickly switched behind Jenkynx and planted him with Deus Ex Machina (Electric Chair Piledriver)! Maverick covered and got the victory.
CRYBABY: Here is your winner, “The King of Professional Wrestling” Maverick
Maverick stomped around the ring, pumped up from the win. The referee raised his hand as "Kingslayer" by Bring Me The Horizon and BABYMETAL played. Maverick quickly left the ring and as he was walking up the ramp “Kumbaya” by Hopsin cut his music off. Johnny Draco walked out onto the stage with a microphone.
VALERIE: Why is Johnny Draco out here without Tiffany? She does the talking.
O'NEIL: Perhaps he feels that he needs to say what he has to say for himself.
At the top of the ramp Maverick stopped about a foot away from Draco. The two stared each other down as the music kept playing. Draco could be faintly heard saying, “I’m not here for you.” to Maverick. Maverick laughed and flipped Draco off before disappearing behind the curtain. The music faded out as Draco started to speak.
DRACO: AJ Jenkynx. Looks to me like you can’t seem to get a win unless Jonathan Cage is at ringside. I have to ask AJ, even though James Edwards and I beat you and Cage on Conviction, do you feel like what you did to me after the match wasa victory?
Jenkynx got up to a knee and he was smirking.
DRACO: Because it felt like a defeat to me. You and I have been going at each other for a few weeks now AJ and I want it to stop. I’m going to stop it. I need to defeat you and get my career back on track. Next week at Catalyst you and I will put a period on this issue when we face each other in a Toronto Street Fight.
Draco held the microphone up and then let it fall from his hand before we cut to a commercial break.

The offices of The Citadel and more specifically we were in the office of OATH Vice President and Livewire head honcho, Oscar Barlow. Barlow was leaning against his desk. His dress was a little more casual, he was wearing a suit but gone was the tie. His collar? Yeah, it was open. Barlow looked a little tired but he was excited.
BARLOW: Hello wrestling fans. I just wanted to touch base because it’s been a while since I talked to all of you. That’s why we do what we do -- it’s for all of you. The Livewire fans. I have been thinking about what Livewire is as of late. And what it can be.
Barlow wiped his nose and sniffed.
BARLOW: I watched the last episode of Conviction. Tommy is doing interesting things there, especially with Force Security. He is tightening things up. I don’t think we need to do that here on Livewire. In fact, we could do with some loosening. Starting next week we will have less security and the referees will be a little more lenient when it comes to matches.
The Vice President exhaled sharply. He clapped his hands and stood up straight.
BARLOW: Next week there is no Livewire because we will be producing the Catalyst kickoff show for Conviction: Nightfall. The two last OATH shows of 2020 will occur on the same night. Nightfall is going to see some amazing matches from the wrestlers on Conviction but I am determined to make a Catalyst card that will rival Nightfall. While our champion abandons us to challenge the World Champion, we will put on one of the best cards of the year.
There was malice in his voice. The resentment towards Mr. Straker and Conviction were strong in Barlow’s voice. He was not going to take a back seat any longer. The twitchy VP reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a large silver key that was engraved with a skull in the bow. He continued.
BARLOW: Last year I came up with a concept called the Skeleton Key. Whoever holds the Skeleton Key can challenge for any title in OATH at any time they choose. Three Livewire wrestlers will get the opportunity to fight for this key at Catalyst in a ladder match! One of them will earn the ability to go to Conviction and steal one of their championships. The competitors will be announced following the conclusion of this episode of Livewire.
Barlow’s head twitched and he sniffed sharply once more before forcing a smile.
BARLOW: Thank you wrestling fans, enjoy the rest of the show.

TAG TEAM MATCH Cass Baumer & Cassidy Kane vs. Social Elite
Tag team action was up next! As we heard earlier in the evening, the winners of this next match would face The Crawfords at Catalyst to determine the next challengers for the OATH Tag Team Titles. Clearly a big opportunity for the new tandem of Cass Baumer and Cassidy Kane and Livewire’s own Plastics -- The Social Elite. The two teams stared each other down when they were all in the ring. Baumer and Summer Page started the match.
O’NEIL: Cass 2 Cass could be launched into the tag team spotlight with a victory here tonight.
VALERIE: That is an atrocious name.
O’NEIL: What do you call them?
VALERIE: I like the name that Social Elite gave them -- the Goodwill Girls.
O’NEIL: That is just as shitty!
The Headliner took control early via a headbutt to Summer’s face. Summer was more concerned with how her nose looked after, asking Tiffany if it was broken. This aside left her open for a running corner European uppercut from Baumer. Baumer was quick to gather Summer up only to put her back down with a hammerlock twisted into a short-range lariat for a near fall.
Summer kicked out and Tiffany cheered. Baumer tagged out to Kane and the bubbly new competitor flew into the ring with an impressive springboard enziguiri! The Citadel popped for that and the smiling assassin climbed up to the top rope and came down on Summer with Mystery Inc. (Diving Knees)! All of the air was driven out of Summer’s lungs as Kane covered.
O’NEIL: I think Summer is turning blue after that top rope move from the Babyface!
VALERIE: Another shitty name?
O’NEIL: Well she has a very fresh looking face! She is also very nice. Seems appropriate.
Spoiled Summer was able to kick out and she immediately grabbed Kane by the hair. Summer smashed the back of Kane’s head into the mat a few times before the referee got in between them. Kane tried to get back up but Summer blasted her with a high knee. Summer quickly got Kane up again only to put her down with a big snap suplex. Summer covered but Kane kicked out just after two.
The Social Elite made the tag and Angel was in the ring for the first time. The resilient Kane was getting to her feet when she was drilled by a double dropkick from the Social Elite. Summer and Angel took a moment to pose in the center of the ring while the camera did a dramatic zoom out. The Citadel hated it.
VALERIE: Look at this display! How could you want anyone else to challenge for the Tag Team Titles?
O’NEIL: Because they are terrible human beings?
VALERIE: But they are effective competitors.
Kane was having trouble to get to her feet and Angel acted slightly concerned for her. Then a sly smirk came across Angel’s face and she hit Kane with a quick running bulldog. Kane was driven into the mat and Angel applied the Priceless Clutch (Camel Clutch). Kane reached out to her corner but she was a long way from Baumer.
In an impressive display, Kane was able to reposition her body and get her foot on the bottom rope. Angel was forced to break the hold but she drilled Kane with a hard stomp to the back of the head. Angel tagged Summer back in and the duo started relentlessly stomping on Kane’s back. They gathered her up and then planted her with Money Over Everything (Double Spike DDT)! Summer made the cover.
Cass Baumer broke up the pinfall by entering the ring and hitting Angel with a shoulder block that sent her into Summer. Baumer went to engage Angel further but Angel poked her in the eye and the Social Elite dropped Baumer with Couture (High & Low). Baumer was dropped and she rolled out of the ring to recover, leaving Kane without anyone to tag.
VALERIE: Look how dominant Social Elite are right now. They are clearly and without a doubt the most cohesive tag team on Livewire. Perhaps in all of OATH.
The legal competitor Summer got Kane up to her feet while Angel returned to the Social Elite corner. After some stiff shots to the midsection, Summer lifted Kane up to the top rope in preparation for a super back suplex. Summer climbed up to the middle turnbuckle but Kane caught her with a hard elbow to the face that dropped Summer prone on the canvas. Kane stood up on the second rope and hit Summer with Hex Girl (Second Rope Moonsault) for a near fall.
Summer was down on the mat and Cass Baumer had pulled herself back up onto the apron. Kane started crawling that way but Summer started to sit up. Tiffany and Angel were yelling at Summer to get up and stop the tag. Summer got up but it was too late -- Kane made the tag.
O’NEIL: Here comes Cass Baumer and she looks ready to turn this match around for her team.
VALERIE: She will need to do something pretty drastic. Social Elite have been taking them apart!
The Headliner qas quick to get in the ring where she smashed Summer with a headbutt that dropped her to the mat. Cass turned her attention to Angel on the apron and darted toward her! Cass flew through the ropes and hit Angel with Fly By Night (Spear Suicida)! Both competitors smashed into the guardrail from the ring and The Citadel popped huge!
Baumer hurt herself on that one and was down alongside Angel on the outside. Summer decided to attack Kane on the apron and bring her into the ring the hard way. Summer was brutally beating on Kane when Baumer found the strength to slip back into the ring. Summer tried to rush her but Baumer cracked her with a dropkick.
The referee instructed Kane to get out of the ring and Angel entered the ring illegally. Angel and Summer hit Kane with a double dropkick that took her off the apron and then another to take Baumer down! Social Elite were quick to get Baumer back up and hit her with Spotlight (Hart Attack)! Kane tried to get into the ring and break Summer’s pin attempt but Tiffany held onto her leg! Kane couldn’t get in the ring.
CRYBABY: Here are your winners, Angel Kash and Summer Page, The Social Elite!
“S&M” by Rhianna played as Angel and Summer got their hands raised. Tiffany freed herself from her tangle with Kane and slipped into the ring to safety. The three members of Social Elite stood tall as Baumer rolled out of the ring to regroup with Kane.

Outside The Citadel a large crowd had gathered in the parking lot. So many people that barricades were set up by Force Security. A rumor had been circulating amongst the fans that could not get tickets and were posted up near the ramp to the underground parking area. A black Navigator rolled through the parking lot and went down the ramp. Cut to another camera and the SUV stopped a few feet short of the door into the arena.
The driver got out of the SUV, came around to the back of the vehicle and opened the door. A man stepped out and over his shoulder was the OATH World Championship. Reo Ojima walked past the driver and entered the arena.
VALERIE: He’s here! The OATH World Champion Reo Ojima is on Livewire!
O’NEIL: This is a first for us. Why do you think he’s here?
VALERIE: I will afford you one guess before I insult you.
O’NEIL: Fuck yourself.
Ojima made his way through the halls of The Citadel, various production assistants and staff members seemed shocked that Ojima was in the building -- he doesn’t work Wednesdays. Ojima turned down a hall and it was clear that he was on his way to the production area just before the entrance curtain.
Cass Baumer and Cassidy Kane came through the curtain and both leaned up against a wall, clearly feeling defeated after their loss. Ojima stopped in front of them and gave Baumer a passing glance. OATH interviewer Audrey Abrams appeared and tried to get a word with Ojima but he stopped her by holding up his hand and then went into the production area. Abrams turned her attention to Baumer and Kane.
ABRAMS: I guess I don’t get to have a word with the OATH World Champion but as fate would have it I need to talk to the two of you!
Baumer and Kane both looked perplexed. Whether they were confused about this person needing to talk to them or about just who she was, well, that was unclear.
ABRAMS: You two just suffered a devastating loss, one that you will likely never live down no matter how long your careers last. How are you feeling?
BAUMER: Are you for real?
ABRAMS: You’re sad. Makes sense. Well I may be able to cheer…
Abrams turned her attention to Kane specifically.
ABRAMS: ...you up! I was just speaking with Mr. Barlow and we were watching your match. He feels very bad that Ms. Baumer here cost you such an important contest and he wants to let you know that he plans on making it up to you.
KANE: Cost me the match? What are you---
ABRAMS: Please. Mr. Barlow feels horrible that you weren’t able to carry Ms. Baumer to another victory. So he has decided to give you an opportunity to get a measure of satisfaction. Next week at Catalyst you will get a one on one match!
Kane and Baumer shared a look, given Barlow’s recent attitude toward The Headliner, they knew what was coming.
ABRAMS: Against Cass Baumer! We’ll find out who is the better wrestler between you two and then you Ms. Kane can move forward with your career. Best of luck, Ms. Kane!
Abrams turned on her heels and left. Both Kane and Baumer shared another glance, clearly they were both completely confused by Mr. Barlow’s thought process.

“The Real Man” by The Seatbelts played throughout The Citadel and the Toronto fans couldn’t help but pop at first. The OATH World Champion had never visited Livewire, they were not expecting this. “The Stone Gargoyle” Reo Ojima walked out onto the stage and surveyed the crowd. Ojima stared with a neutral expression into the crowd and then walked down to the ring.
VALERIE: It appears that we will have some company for our main event tonight.
O’NEIL: Perhaps he will give El D a definitive answer to his challenge!
VALERIE: Hopefully it is a no!
Ojima walked toward the timekeepers table and stopped, staring down a member of the ring crew. Ojima gave a nod and the crew member quickly found a steel chair and set it up for the champion. Ojima head faked the crew members and they fell backward. Ojima smiled and sat down.
VALERIE: These young boys need to be faster about accommodating the champion. What a disgrace! This is the King!
Reo crossed his feet and leaned back in the chair. He withdrew a small metal case from his jacket pocket and opened it to pull out a cigar. Ojima went about cutting the end off and lighting it. He then gestured for the show to continue -- and it did.

• MAIN EVENT • OATH LIVEWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES MATCH Kirios Hunt vs. El Diablo Blanco ©
“The Huntress” Kirios Hunt was out first as ."Kings And Queens" by Ava Max. Hunt had her game face on and did not engage any of the fans en route to the ring. She knew that the fans were about to explode for the champion. That they did. “What Does The Fox Say?” started playing and The Citadel erupted for the Livewire Champion.
El D made a point to walk past Reo Ojima before getting into the ring. El D said, “Welcome to my world, Brother!” to the World Champion before entering the ring. El D handed off the Livewire Championship and the bell rang to start the match.
VALERIE: Not only is Mr. Blanco about to lose, but he is going to be humiliated when the man he challenged watches it from the best seat in the house!
Hunt came out of the gate with a running palm strike to El D that caught the champion off guard. Hunt went for a hip toss but El D hit a punch to her midsection and took her down with a startlingly quick arm drag. Hunt popped right back up and the two were at a stalemate.
El D clapped for his opponent and not in a mocking fashion. It was genuine. Hunt shot in on him again but El D took her down with a second arm drag. Hunt popped back up immediately and El D was primed to do a third arm drag but Hunt surprised him and dropped him with a hurricanrana! Hunt immediately transitioned into an arm bar!
The Huntress knew that she needed to inflict as much damage as she could as fast as she could because El D had the weight advantage and he would get out of the hold. Hunt wrenched back with all of her might and the champion let out in pain. Eventually she pulled back too far and El D was able to turn over and pin her shoulders to the mat for a two count.
O’NEIL: You know El D has a distinct weight advantage but everyone is the same size on the mat. She will definitely be looking to make El D submit.
VALERIE: She may have some obscene strength that we do not know about.
O’NEIL: I don’t think that’s gonna happen.
Both competitors were back up and Hunt charged in at El D again but El D was faster this time and he planted Hunt on the mat with an emphatic scoop slam! The audience roared for El D as he stood over Hunt. She was in position for a devastating move!
El D pulled off his elbow pad and tossed it into the crowd. You’d think that the Leafs won the Stanley Cup by the reaction of the crowd.. El D took off for the ropes, shot off them, leaped over Hunt’s prone body, hit the opposing ropes and came back with a massive Backyard Elbow! Hunt looked like she just took a gunshot as El D covered her.
The Huntress kicked out and The Citadel reacted like Drake died. El D was not deterred, his well of positivity was infinite. El D collected Hunt by the head and stood her up. He hit her with a kick to the midsection and then planted her with a Stump Piledriver! Hunt was down once more and El D covered as Reo Ojima watched on.
O’NEIL: A brutal piledriver from the champion! He is pulling out all of the stops to defend his championship against Kirios Hunt.
VALERIE: He has no choice! He keeps getting these fluke victories. That run can not last forever!
Hunt kicked out again and we cut to a shot of Ojima looking mildly impressed by her heart. El D glanced at the World Champion and then went back to work on Hunt. He wtried for an Irish whip but Hunt kicked him in the midsection and then took him down with a flying neckbreaker! The crowd couldn’t believe it as Hunt quickly applied body scissors!
El D was the bigger competitor but Hunt’s legs were powerful and she had the champion trapped on the mat. Ojima sent a puff of smoke into the air, almost laughing. Hunt squeezed as hard as she could but El D rolled onto his stomach and reached for the ropes. Within moments he was able to drag both of their bodies to the ropes to get the break.
O’NEIL: If Hunt can get one of her signature submissions applied then El D may be in trouble.
Champion and challenger were both back up to their feet and Hunt launched herself at El D. The Backyard Phenom was able to guide her flying body into a corner and then followed that up with a running body avalanche. El D then climbed up to the middle rope and went to start laying in his signature ten punches but Kirios slipped out from under him.
Hunt ran into the corner to try and retake the advantage but El D hook kicked her in the face. Hunt staggered backward and El D leaped from the middle rope and took her down with an impressive tornado DDT! The crowd popped as El D climbed to the top rope and then came off with Feelin’ Froggy (Frog Splash)! El D landed with all of his weight on Hunt. El D stared through the ropes into the eyes of Ojima as the referee counted the three.
CRYBABY: Here is your winner and STILL OATH Livewire Champion, “The Backyard Phenom” El Diablo Blanco!
"The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)” by Ylvis played and the crowd in The Citadel was all smiles. El Diablo Blanco was handed the Livewire Championship and then had his hand raised. Reo Ojima immediately stood up from his chair and adjusted the World Championship over his shoulder. Ojima took a puff from his cigar and then proceeded up the ring steps.
VALERIE: You’ve done it now El D! The champion of champions is coming to see you!
El Diablo took a defensive stance as Ojima took his time entering the ring. Once through the ropes, Ojima approached El D and looked him in the eyes. The two champions stood face to face, neither man looking away or even blinking. Fans waited for things to explode but it did not happen. The two men faced off as Livewire fifteen came to a close.
