Episode 9
October 7th, 2020
The Citadel in Toronto, Ontario

• Angel Kash def. Tony Satriale
• Erica & Nicky Crawford def. Hanzogun
• Sydney St. Clair def. Curt Kornell

“Welcome to Hell” by Terror Universal blared through The Citadel as three of the five members of The Hell Realm walked to the ring. First out was Ryan Terror followed by Adrestia Nyx. The trio was rounded out by Monstruo who hulked behind them.
Ryan hit the ring and motioned for a microphone as Nyx and Monstruo entered the ring. They flanked Terror as he stood in the middle of the canvas. He made a cutthroat motion which gave the cue to stop the music.
TERROR: Ah yes, welcome my children once again as I tell you all His doctrine.
A beat.
TERROR: We all are at a crossroads. The decision to turn left or turn right is a very hard one. We have to seek His guidance. To hope that His wisdom will show us the path to take. And after all of this, His message is clear.
Terror then handed the microphone over to Adrestia Nyx who smiled widely.
NYX: You see, Ryan and myself are looking to re-stake our claim in the Tag Team Division here in OATH. A reintroduction of sorts. A reminder just who in the hell this division is fucking with. The Hell Realm have been down for too long and with His guidance we will re-claim OUR Tag Team Championships.
Adrestia passed the microphone back to Terror.
TERROR: This is a warning to every team in OATH. We are coming for you and we are going to dish out a level of violence that has never been seen before. We will bring glory to His name and His will be done.
“Welcome to Hell” blasted again as Terror dropped the microphone in the middle of the ring and they awaited their opponents.

TAG TEAM MATCH The Hell Realm vs. The Lapalm Sisters
To call this next contest a match would be a misnomer. Yes there were two teams out there ready to fight but only one of them really CAME to fight. The Hell Realm was already in the ring when The Lapalm Sisters made their entrance.
VALERIE: The Lapalm Sisters look to get a victory and head toward the OATH Tag Team titles.
O’NEIL: Yeah I don’t see that happening.
VALERIE: I mean, no, but you never know!
O’NEIL: Yeah I’m pretty sure they are fucked.
Once both Lapalm Sisters were in the ring, Hell Realm decided to jump them before the bell. Once it rang, it was all Hell Realm. Annie Lapalm was blasted with a double spear from The Hell Realm and then Tina was taken down with a double hip toss.
VALERIE: Who is legal?
O’NEIL: All of them, I guess.
Hell Realm stalked Annie as she got up and then she got absolutely obliterated by Full Metal Jacket (Out of the Shadows [Terror]/Running Knee Strike [Nyx])! Tina tried to get the jump on them but Hell Realm were primed and ready -- they put her down with The Protocol (Dudley Death Drop)!
O’NEIL: This just isn’t fair.
Annie got up but she did not look like she knew where she was. Terror grabbed her and Hell Realm went about putting her down with Sacrifical Lamb (Powerbomb [Terror]/Meteora [Nyx])! Nyx covered and I guess the referee didn’t care who was legal and he just counted the fall.

Winners: The Hell Realm
“Welcome to Hell” by Terror Universal cued up and The Hell Realm had their hands raised. Their climb back to the OATH Tag Team Titles had passed the first rung on the ladder with incredible ease.

The scene opened with a couple of fans standing in front of a merch table, having just bought something which is unseen at the time, in the background we could see Kasey Kash walking up to them, cigarette in his mouth, he took a drag of it as he starts to speak to the fans.
KASH: Oi oi lads.
FAN #1: Yo! Kasey Kash!
KASH: The one and only, what are you two doin’? You buyin my new merch?
FAN #2: Oh… umm… well, actually…
Before the fan could finish, the guy behind the merch stand handed them both their T-shirts… El Diablo Blanco T-Shirts. Kasey found this amusing, laughing before he took another drag from his smoke, before blowing smoke away from their faces and said...
KASH: El Diablo merch… how, convenient that you two are buying that. You guys do know that I’m fighting him tonight… right?
FAN #1: Yeah man! We hope he kicks your ass! El Diablo is our favourite wrestler IN OATH! Ain’t that right Jay?
FAN #2: Dude, He is just so cool!
Kasey laughed, taking one last drag of his smoke before he tossed it onto the ground and stamped it out.
KASH: Why is he your favorite? Is it something he’s done? Is it because he’s wearing a mask? Wanna enlighten me as to why you think he’s cooler than… me?
FAN #1: Well, he just… he uhh…
KASH: Come on, spit it out. I don’t have all day.
FAN #2: He seems to actually, you know, care about his fans…
KASH: I care, I only care about the ones that deserve to be cared about.
FAN #1: Wait, what’s that supposed to mean?
KASH: It means that fans like you are what’s wrong in the wrestling world. You seriously don’t like me because I “don’t care about my fans”. Then you don’t deserve to be MY fans at all, I have been through more pain in my life than you ever will be, I put my body on the line out there for YOU fans, and the thanks I get is people like you not even buying my merch, instead buying the merchandise of someone I am facing off against next Livewire. People like you are why I am an asshole to most fans… People like you are why I hate people, why I’m a “toxic” person to be around, because you aren’t even worth my fucking time… and on that note…
Kasey snatched both shirts from the fans, before pulling his lighter out of his pocket and burning a massive hole into the shirts, then ripping the both of them in half, throwing them on the ground.
KASH: Enjoy your shirts… marks.
Kasey pulled out another cigarette and lit it, before walking away from the two fans.

The arena lights faded as the dark, synth intro to “Awakening” by Unleash the Archers started up. Red spotlights began passing over the crowd when the guitars and drums kicked in. They wandered all around the arena as the song continued to play and build.
When the first vocal note hit a white spotlight lit up the entrance as “Favored of the Goddess” Lana Corvin strutted out from the back. She stood there looking out arrogantly over the crowd. They showed their hate to her, whether it's for her or just her family you couldn't be sure.
She started to strut her way toward the ring as the lights raised and the song continued. She talked some smack with some of the more vocal and heckling members of the crowd. She returns all of their verbal jabs as only one of the Corvins can.
“To look up into the night's sky, to see the stars they are changed
To know a thousand years or more have passed, and I am the same
This mountain hollow that keeps me in a suffocating embrace
A prison and a safe haven, it's always been this way
Lo, a new master calls me to awakening, I know this one brings the end
Far out beyond the darkness I've been living in it's true, a whole new world awaits”
She climbed the ring steps and then into the ring. She circled around out glaring out at the crowd and talked more trash. She then ran to one set up the ropes and stood up on them raising an arm high.
“Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night
Once again revitalized, to roam; to never die!”
She jumped down and retrieved a mic from one of the ring crew. She paced around the ring as her music continued for a few more moments. She then lifted the mic to her lips.
CORVIN: I grew up watching my dad in this business. When I told him I wanted to do this, he told me one thing to make sure I remember. He said, sometimes, you’ll get an opponent who will disappoint you. He said I could come in anyway, and no two will be the same. I figured it would take me a while before I had my first. At least a year is what I thought. But here I am. Third match in my professional career and I have had my first disappointing opponent. Michael Marou.
Lana shook her head.
CORVIN: This man saw my last name and rather than face me he decided to run away. He was so scared of being embarrassed by an eighteen-year-old girl that he would rather be known as a coward. I cannot imagine the thought process that went into that decision. Can any of you imagine someone the size of Michael being afraid of me? He has almost half a foot and well over a hundred pounds on me. He is almost twice my age!!
Lana threw her hands up and lets them fall in exasperation.
CORVIN: If this is any indication of OATH as a whole, well, then this is going to be a pretty pitiful experience of a company to start in. Now, because OATH has zero vetting process to not hire flaky pussies, they tried to feed me, and everyone else, some bullshit line of how I’m going to have a mystery opponent. They are wasting everyone’s time because to get diamonds like Little Sister or myself they have to hire a metric fuck ton of shitty people. So here I am, letting you all at least get a glimpse…
Lana was cut off by a generic punk sounding song filling the arena. From the back, to a mild pop, came none other than OATH talent, Scribbles. He made his way down to the ring and quickly ran up the steps and climbed into the ring. Lana looked from Scribbles, to the ref, back to Scribbles, out to the crowd, and finally back to Scribbles.
CORVIN: You lost, little guy? Did you get separated from your parents?
Lana looked out to the crowd.
CORVIN: Excuse me, did someone lose their child? He seems to have found his way out here. Don’t want the little guy to get lost.
The ref moved up to Lana and whispers into her ear.
CORVIN: You mean to tell me this little kid is my great mystery opponent? Really? They want to insult me THAT much?
Lana shrugged her shoulders and tossed the mic to a member of the ring crew.

SINGLES MATCH Lana Corvin vs. Scribbles
Corvin removed her leather jacket and turned around as the bell rang. She walked back up to Scribbles and stared down at him. He appeared to be running his mouth to Lana. She rolled her eyes and pie-faced him, pushing him back. Scribbles growled and charged in at her. Lana put her hand out onto his forehead and held him out at arm’s length.
VALERIE: I suppose I have a modicum of respect for Scribbles' heart but I do not believe that he has a chance at beating a very game Ms. Corvin.
O'NEIL: Sometimes heart is all you need.
VALERIE: A small measure of skill would not go amiss.
She pushed him back a half step and then slapped him hard enough to spin the small man a hundred and eighty degrees. Lana then threw a forearm into Scribble’s lower back and kidney area. She spun him around and whipped him across the ring into the corner. Scribbles hit the turnbuckles hard. Lana charged in and jumped up bringing her knee right into Scribbles’ chin.
VALERIE: This poor child.
O'NEIL: He's in his twenties.
VALERIE: This poor man child.
He crumpled to the mat and Lana just shook her head. She pushed him out a bit from the corner and stepped over him. She looked back over her shoulder at him before jumping up onto the middle turnbuckle then to the top and bouncing off into The Goddess’s Favour Double jump moonsault. She went for a cover but pulled Scribbles up at two, obviously not done yet.
O'NEIL: This is what he gets for taking charge of his career -- to be toyed with like mouse in a cat's clutches.
The ref berated Lana who threw her hands up acting innocent. She then pulled Scribbles out to the middle of the ring and back up to his feet. He had the lean against Lana to keep from falling over which caused the second-generation wrestler to just laugh. She tucked Scribbles head under her arm and then lifted him up for a suplex. She held him there for almost a minute before dropping to a kneed and dropping Scribbles neck first across her other knee with the Spear of Diana. She looked down and shook her head in disapproval.
O'NEIL: Okay lets wrap this up already.
Still not going for another pin Lana lifted Scribbles’s almost lifeless body back up. She smirked and looked into a camera and called out, ‘this is for you, dad.’ Lana then placed Scribbles’ head between her legs and hooks both of his arms. She lifted him up and did a quarter turn before dropping him face-first with her father’s move, The Glorifier. She then finally pinned Scribbles for the three count. She paused to a chorus of boos as her music started. She just smirked and walked to the back.
Winner: Lana Corvin

Previously recorded footage rolled. Heavy metal could be heard coming from an overhead PA system. We were inside a large gym, fully equipped with top of the line machines and equipment. However, as large as it is, and even in the middle of the day, there wasn't very many people here. Those who were present may look familiar to some viewers as members of the wrestling stable known as The Kingdom.
Lluvia Cane was seen performing banded lunges. Jasmine Matthews could be spotted on the leg curl machine. Lilith Meadows was on the leg press, pushing up an impressive amount of weight for her size. Sativa Nevaeh was seen standing at the head of a bench press machine while OATH’s Lana Corvin worked on a set, being spotted by Nevaeh. Moe Renhuan was holding onto a heavy bag while Christina Olson went to town on it, driving punches and kicks into the leather. Tren Descarrilado could be seen doing bicep curls with what appeared to be the 60lb bells.
The camera continued to sweep past all of these individuals until it came to focus on the full sized ring. Inside the ropes, the final active competitive member of The Kingdom, Morgan Payne, was in the middle of grappling with none other than the Black Metal Witch, Jamie Emmerson. The two sisters traded off on the mat, applying holds that the other would escape and reversed into one of their own, only for the other to slip out of that.
Jamie’s the taller of the two but Morgan was clearly stronger as Jamie appeared to have to work a little harder to break free from her sister’s grip. Morgan flipped Jamie over, slamming her into the mat with a headlock hip toss. Jamie kipped up out of it and went for her sister again but Morgan snatched her legs out from under her and went for a leg submission but Jamie acted fast and shoved her with one foot against her butt to break free. Morgan followed through and hit the ropes, coming back as Jamie rolled backwards and up to her feet. Jamie caught her in an armdrag, using her sister’s momentum to toss her over. As soon as Morgan was sitting up, Jamie swooped in and caught her in a rear sleeper hold, adjusted it into a crossface chicken wing and pulled her back, wrapping her legs around her waist. Morgan immediately patted her sister’s hand and Jamie let her go. Morgan sat up and turned up on her knees. She bumped fists with Jamie, both women sweating and panting. They had been at this for awhile.
MORGAN: Good shit. Take a breather an’ talk ta these fuckers. I’ll go get some ‘warter.’
She slapped Jamie in the arm and rolled out of the ring; Morgan gave the camera a cold once over as she passed. The camera moved closer to the ring now, where Jamie Emmerson came to rest with her forearms on the middle rope. She caught her breath before greeting the viewers with that characteristically cold grin of hers.
JAMIE: I’ve been...a little quiet recently. Please, do forgive me. I know I’ve got an important match that I need to be prepared for. See, though, that’s just it.
Jamie ran her hand, wrapped in fighter’s tape, down her face to clear it of the sweat. Her hand came to grip onto the rope again, loosely.
JAMIE: I have been preparing. I’ve been preparing from the moment I looked at the match card for Livewire’s ninth episode and saw that, once again, I’m being made to put the title - MY Livewire Championship - on the line against some undeserving, fresh faced bastard. Johnny Draco. The next big name in professional wrestling; or so he claims.
Jamie lifted her hands off of the rope and waved them as if to say “ooooh!” She’s not impressed one bit. Why’s that, people may ask.
JAMIE: Draco, everything you’ve said, so far, has been nothing new to my ears. You and little miss Tiffany Lynn Page - you know, the one who acts as your mouth piece while you claim I have people feeding me lines - the two of you have spent the past week contradicting yourselves while you regurgitate the same…
She trailed off. Her gaze lowered to the floor below her as she appeared to be searching for the proper term to use. After a moment, she grew a little frustrated and just went for something simple.
JAMIE: ...the same fucking BULLSHIT that the past three opponents that I’ve shared the ring with have spewed at me. “I’m the future of this company. I’m unlike anything you’ve ever faced before.” The only difference between you and them is, Draco, you have a manager at your side yet somehow your desperation is still showing. You have a paid hype woman, but you can't shut your mouth long enough to let her do her job. She MIGHT come up with something original, maybe. Talk about a waste of money. But instead, what do we hear from her? Weak references to the Wizard of Oz. Not only that, but she has people like Angel Kash as another client. You know, the one who’s too stupid to realize her debut match within OATH will not even be televised. Great career choices you’ve made, Draco. Bravo. Bra-Fucking-Vo.
For once, Jamie showed a little sarcasm and, by goddess, a hint of humor as she pushed back onto her knees and gave a slow clap that echoed throughout the massive, private gym. Next, she placed her hands down on the mat and pushed her legs back to where she was laying flat on her stomach upon the mat. She propped her elbows up and intertwined her fingers to rest her chin on as she kicks her feet behind her.
JAMIE: Face facts here, Johnny: you’re in over your head in this match and you know it. You’re working so hard to be taken seriously and want to be seen as this magnificent athlete but you’re working too hard. All of that hot air you’re blowing; it’s amazing you haven’t deflated. The constant social media exposure; you rival the thirstiest of camwhores with how many photos of yourself you show on Twitter. Now, does any of this amount to your in-ring capability?
She scrunched up her face and shrugged her shoulders.
JAMIE: Nyeh. Of course not. I’ve watched your previous matches in OATH. I know exactly what you’re capable of. AND!
She stopped there, lifting an index finger as if to stress a point.
JAMIE: And...you know what I am capable of, I’m sure. The difference there is, Draco, that I am in your head. I can see that as clear as the harvest moon. Anyone can if they just pay attention. I’ve got you so flustered and stressed out about this match, it’s got you on edge. Keep repeating yourself about how you’re unique, about how you’re the future and about how you’re in my head, instead. Wrappings and trappings, Draco. Wrappings and trappings. That’s all they are and I see through every one of them. This match, Draco, this championship match is life and death for you. It means so much to you to step into the ring and hope that you beat me. For me...it’s just another Wednesday night. Another night that OATH management tries to throw someone onto the chopping block. Another difference between me and you, Johnny?
There was that evil, mischievous grin of hers again as she rested her chin on her hands again.
JAMIE: Proof of caliber. You love to talk so much about your technique and ability while asking for proof from me to back up my own. So then, let’s have a look at where my ability comes from. You! Camera man. Give me that.
Jamie reached out and literally pulled the camera away from the OATH employee. She flipped it around and now we were seeing, more or less, what she’s seeing. First we saw the bewildered looking camera man, just staring up at the lens from outside of the ring. The camera turned, focusing on the gym area where The Kingdom were still working out. Those who were on machines or the bags were still putting the work in. Jamie’s sister, Morgan, was in the background in the middle of a conversation with the OATH Intrepid Champion, FM Young who had just arrived.
JAMIE: This, Draco. This is my training caliber. A handful of former and current champions. Record setters. Future prodigies of professional wrestling. Add that on top of the two years of training when I was younger than this. I get it, Johnny, it’s embarrassing for you. I’d guess from your pictures you gotta be like, what? Mid 30’s at least? To be a rookie at that age, about to get your teeth kicked in by a little girl, I’d be sweating like it’s life or death too. Look around me.
The camera panned around again, showing off different Kingdom members, Payne, and The OATH Intrepid Champion again.
JAMIE: Most of them are still younger than you, Effy’s about 30ish, your peer in age and she’s already done ten times as much as you. I get that it can be demoralizing, so you try to save face but even if you try to be the future your already old hat. How much longer is a career in a business like this going to last you? Best to just not, Johnny, best to just not.
The camera started to shake just as Morgan and FM started approaching the ring. When the camera’s shakiness settled down, it was aimed back at Jamie’s face with her holding it and staring right up into the lens.
JAMIE: So there are my credible sources. Like them or not they have a list of accolades that say they are top of the line and they have passed that knowledge, that information, that abundance of techniques onto me. There is my proof, Johnny Draco. Now, I want to know, where’s yours? You keep saying not to keep dwelling on achievements of the past yet in the same breath, you want me to look at what you’ve proven “time after time.” Draco, you’ve had two whole matches in your career. As young as I am and as early in my career as I am, Goddess knows I have proven a hell of a lot more than you! Camera man, take this thing.
Jamie passed the camera back through the ropes to the OATH employee then looked off to the side.
JAMIE: ¡Oye hermana! ¡Pásame eso!
A few second went by before Jamie reached off camera, through the ropes. When she brought her hand back into the frame, she was holding the OATH Livewire Championship belt. Jamie stood back now, leaning forward with the belt dangling and swinging like the pendulum on a grandfather clock.
JAMIE: This right here, Draco, is proof to my credibility. I’ve got it. You want it. You said so yourself: this is the match where you put your life on the line. This is the match where I take yours away. Where the one thing you need to carry on in your pathetic existence slips right through your fingers. At the end of the night, Draco, like it or not...you WILL be nothing more...than another statistic….
Jamie set the title down on the apron and a hand - likely Morgan’s judging from the Steelers wristband - picked it up to move it out of the way. Stepping into the ring with Jamie, dressed for a workout herself, FM Young appeared in the frame and started circling up with her student.
FM was fresh, Jamie is obviously still a little worn from already working out but that’s just gonna make the next round of training even tougher. The camera panned back some as student and teacher stepped in and lock up. FM Young quickly gets in a wrist lock and flipped Jamie onto her back but Jamie kipped up as the camera panned over.
We saw Morgan Payne and the rest of the Kingdom along with Lana Corvin, taking a break from their workouts to come over and observe. While we don’t see the training going on, we could hear the occasional slams of bodies hitting the mat. The women all started getting riled up, cheering Jamie on and telling her to push through it. We heard another thunderous slam hit the mat. The girls, namely Lana and Morgan let out yells of approval as the sparring continued and the scene faded out…

SINGLES MATCH AJ Jenkynx vs. Kirios Hunt
The next contest saw “The Sinner” AJ Jenkynx take on “The Huntress” Kirios Hunt. Jenkynx got a piss poor reception from the crowd, likely due to him having cost fan favourite Minoru Tanahashi several matches in the last couple weeks. By default, Hunt got a great reaction because The Citadel wanted to see her put Jenkynx down.
VALERIE: Mr. Jenkynx has been all over the product as of late. He just can not seem to let his issues with Minoru Tanahashi lie.
O’NEIL: Yes they have really enjoyed calling each other bitches.
The bell rang and Hunt circled Jenkynx -- who just stood stationary. Hunt tried to shoot in on Jenkynx but got caught with a knee to the chin. Jenkynx then shoved Hunt back into the ropes and used his long legs to catch her with a huge spinning heel kick to the side of the head.
VALERIE: That kick knocked Ms. Hunt cross eyed!
Hunt was rocked and Jenkynx pulled her up off the mat, looking for a German suplex! Hunt was able to shift her weight forward into a victory roll but Jenkynx kicked out immediately. Hunt got up to her feet and blasted Jenkynx in the face with a dropkick to the face.
O’NEIL: Kirios Hunt could be a contender for the Livewire Championship with a victory here tonight.
VALERIE: Yes but getting past Mr. Jenkynx will not be easy. He has been in a very foul mood for weeks now!
The Huntress climbed to the top rope but Jenkynx saw what was coming so he slipped to the outside. That didn’t deter Hunt because she flew off the top rope to the outside, taking Jenkynx down with a cross body. Hunt quickly got Jenkynx back into the ring.
O’NEIL: Look at The Huntress soar!
VALERIE: I did watch. 5/10.
O’NEIL: I’m sure that you could do better.
VALERIE: Of course I could. I studied Lucha Libre in Mexico for years.
Measuring The Sinner, Hunt shot in on him and Jenkynx threw a punch but Hunt countered it and floated over into a beautiful DDT! Hunt was feeling herself now and instead of going for a cover she got Jenkynx up to his feet but Jenkynx blasted her with a boot to the midsection and then put her down with a stunner!
VALERIE: Did you just hear some glass break?
O’NEIL: ...no.
VALERIE: I swear I heard that. Hmm.
Jenkynx was looking to end the match now but Hunt surprised him with a dropkick that sent him hard into the corner. Hunt climbed up to the middle rope and started delivering a series of punches to Jenkynx’s face as the fans counted along! Once she hit ten of them, Jenkynx reached under her and planted her with a powerbomb! Jenkynx covered.

O’NEIL: The Huntress is not finished!
Hunt was able to kick out and the fans rejoiced. Jenkynx called for the end as he double Hunt over with a kick to the midsection and then set her up for Broken Dreams (Tiger Driver) but Hunt threw her body back and took Jenknyx over with a head scissors into a pin!

Winner: Kirios Hunt
"Kings And Queens" by Ava Max started playing and Kirios Hunt had her hand raised. Jenkynx pounded the mat in frustration and turned his attention to his opponent. Hunt knew that Jenkynx had a propensity for attacking people after the bell so she slipped out of the ring and walked backwards up the ramp, another victory in her pocket.

We cut to the back as AJ Jenkynx came through the curtain following his match. He walked past the crew, grabbed a bottle of water, cracks it open, took a sip and started heading to the locker room when someone came running out from one of the hallways. It was Minoru Tanahashi looking to take Jenkynx's head off with Akihabara Dreams. AJ managed to side step the enraged Black Lion, but Minoru spun around and launched himself at his rival. The brawl was on with Minoru throwing wild clubbing blows to the back of AJ. AJ shoved Minoru off and looked for a superkick, but now Tanahashi managed to evade and security has finally arrived, separating the two rivals.
MINORU: I’M SICK OF YOU COSTING ME MATCHES YOU SORE LOSING SON OF A WHORE LITTLE BABY BITCH!
Minoru spit at AJ, and Jenkynx was incensed, tossing security away and delivered a stiff right hand to Tanahashi before security can pull him back again.
JENKYNX: I’M FUCKING SICK OF YOU! I WILL END YOU AND MAKE YOU MY LITTLE BITCH!
Jenkynx again got free from security and went right back to punching Tanahashi. Both men were pissed and wanted to end each other as Tanahashi broke free and starts throwing punches into the midsection of AJ. Security was finally able to get them separated again as they stare each other down.
MINORU: YOU’RE THE LITTLE BITCH. I BEAT YOU TWICE AND I’LL DO IT AGAIN DAMN’T. HELL AND BACK, ME AND YOU, I QUIT MATCH!
JENKYNX: YOU’RE ON BITCH!
As AJ yelled out his acceptance, he again broke free of security, and connected with a massive superkick that left Minoru dazed and likely only standing because security has a hold of him. A few that had their hands on Tanahashi broke off and restrained AJ, then started pulling him away as Minoru looked up at a smirking at AJ Jenkynx through glassy eyes before he’s taken away as security works to put an end to the volatile situation.

The opening bars of The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?) by Ylvis echoed throughout The Citadel bringing the Diablo Nation to their feet ready to see their founder make his entrance. They were standing and cheering as El Diablo Blanco made his way out through the entrance playing the air guitar. Bouncing along to the music the Diablo Nation had what feels like a concert in the ring for entire duration of the 3 minute 45 second song.
BLANCO: Are we ready to rock tonight, Brothers and Sisters?
A thunderous response from the crowd.
BLANCO: Let me tell you something, Brother. There was a point in time when I was out here lost. No, I didn't know where I was goin'. But I sure knew where I've been. I was hanging on the promises in songs of yesterday and now I've made up my mind. No, I ain't wasting no more time, Brother.
The Nation was in a frenzy for their hero.
BLANCO: I kept searchin' for an answer. I never seemed to find what I'm lookin' for. Oh Lord, I prayed you'd give me strength to carry on because I know what it means to walk along the lonely street of dreams, Brother. But here I go this time not on my own. No longer goin' down the only road I've ever known. Like a drifter, I was born to walk alone, Brother, but I am alone no more. I carry with me the strength of a Nation; the Diablo Nation. I told myself that I had a mission; a mission not for El D. No, instead, it was a mission for all of you. For all the ones that have been ridiculed for the way they look or the way they talk. For the ones that were mocked, deemed uncool, not good enough. I would represent every last one of you on my quest towards the Livewire Title.
The Nation was now changing 'El D, El D'.
BLANCO: Tonight, the next match on my road to the Livewire Championship goes through one Kasey Kash. Now I know my Brother hasn't had the best of luck here in OATH. He has yet to get that first major win. Well, Brother, contrary to what your Twitter handle says, El D does not believe you to be a… well a… you know. A hole in the posterior. No, Brother, El D sees you as a star. Tonight, we're going to rock this ring like a hurricane, Brother. Kasey Kash, I want you to bring it and bring it hard, Brother. El Diablo Blanco enjoys a challenge because, with each passing match, I gain more experience and can evolve. Tonight you're gonna have to knock me out, Brother, because I'm on a mission. I'm on a mission that's going to lead me straight towards that Livewire Championship, Brother. Can you Diggit?! Now come on out here and walk this way, Brother. The Diablo Nation came here looking for a fight and we'll… tonight… we will rock you, Brother.
El Diablo Blanco tossed the microphone out of the ring to a stage hand as he paces back and forth readying himself for his opponent.

SINGLES MATCH El Diablo Blanco vs. Kasey Kash
El Diablo Blanco paced in the ring while the Diablo Nation chanted his name. “The Resident Asshole” Kasey Kash made his entrance and The Citadel collectively booed the shit out of him. Kash didn’t give a shit, he walked to the ring smoking a cigarette with all of the confidence in the world. Kash entered the ring, still smoking. The referee called for the bell anyway and Kash flicked the cigarette right in El D’s face!
VALERIE: The gall of Mr. Kash!
O’NEIL: That was fucking horrible. What is Kash’s problem?
VALERIE: Perhaps his unsuccessful bid to become Livewire Champion has inspired him to be more of a jerk.
O’NEIL: Well he has an Intrepid Championship match coming up so he can’t really afford a loss here tonight.
Kash rushed El D and hit him with a rising knee to the face. Kash smiled and then brought El D out of the corner with a running bulldog. Kash then stepped on El D’s lower back and went for a springboard moonsault but El D moved out of the way. Kash was agile enough to land on his feet. Kash took a bow as El D got back up to his feet.
O’NEIL: Kash is an impressive talent, there is no doubt about that. But El D has the Diablo Nation.
VALERIE: Which is tantamount to -- well nothing.
The Resident Asshole rushed El D again but El D hit him with a deep arm drag. Kash tried to scramble back up but El D hit him with a heavy clothesline that took Kash over the top rope to the outside. El D fired up Diablo Nation as Kash recovered on the outside. Kash got to his feet and kicked the ring steps, things were not going according to plan for him.
O’NEIL: The Resident Asshole is getting clearly not a member of Diablo Nation.
VALERIE: No one with any integrity is.
Kash went to enter the ring, walking slowly up the steps. Once he reached the top, he thought better of it and instead of entering the ring he flipped El D off. The paragon of virtue that is El D would not let such a slight pass. Kash descended the steps and made for the entrance ramp but El D was quickly out of the ring and after him.
O’NEIL: Kash is trying to run away!
VALERIE: He is merely reevaluating the situation.
El D was a few paces behind and gaining fast when Kash turned clobbered El D with a spinning backfist. Kash grabbed El D’s wrist and blasted him with a ripcord Kappo kick! El D was dropped cold and Kash was pleased with his deception. Kash got El D up and sent him hard into the ring apron with an Irish whip.
O’NEIL: Oh my that sounded brutal.
Kash charged toward El D but El D slipped out of the way. Kash jumped up onto the apron and then came back with a moonsault to take El D down. Kash slipped El D up onto the apron and then joined him. Kash got El D up and was looking for a death valley driver on the apron but El D slipped off and into the ring! El D grabbed Kash and brought him into the ring with a suplex. El D covered and the Diablo Nation prepared to rejoice.

VALERIE: Mr. Blanco nearly picks up the victory!
O’NEIL: Kash could be in deep trouble here.
The Resident Asshole was able to kick out and the Diablo Nation was deflated. El D wasn’t though, he remained as positive as ever! El D planted Kash with a spinebuster in the middle of the ring. El D then went for the Backyard Elbow but after the theatrics, he came to drop the elbow and Kash reached up and pulled him over into a roll up! Kash pulled on El D’s tights and the referee couldn’t see it!

Winner: Kasey Kash
"RestInPeace" by Bones cued up and Kash quickly exited the ring as the Diablo Nation booed the absolute shit out of him. Kash had his hand raised in victory on the outside as El D got up to a knee. El D pointed at Kash, letting him know that this injustice would not go unchecked. Tell ‘em El D.

The camera flashed to inside Pillar and Post, the restaurant/bar settled just adjacent to the arena in The Citadel. Tucked away in a corner of the facility was the snack bar and there, wearing masks and all were The Sweet Treats, Kellie Reznik and Alex Andrews. It seems the pair had commandeered the space for themselves and are having a grand time in the process.
ALEX: Did you bring the candy, Kallie?
KALLIE: Of course, I did.
Kalle held up a bowl and then sets it back down. Alex smiles brightly as she nudged her friend.
ALEX: This is fun! I'm glad you thought of this.
They shared a quick smile towards one another and get back to work.
KALLIE: Come support your next OATH Tag Team Champions, The Sweet Treats! Free candy to anyone wearing our new Sweet Treats tee shirts!
ALEX: You! Sir! Looking awful snazzy in that shirt. Have some candy.
Alex and the man exchanged nods and she motions to a bowl set on the snack bar filled to the brim with assorted candies.
ALEX: Thank you for your support!
The two stood back and watched as more and more people came and grabbed some candy and talked to one another.
ALEX: This could work. People seem to into us.
KALLIE: Yeah, we just gotta hold up our end of things. Got to take the fight to the Dynamic Duo.
Alex simply nodded.
ALEX: We can take them. No doubts in my mind. It's definitely going to be a speed versus speed battle. They are going to bring their lucha inspired style at us hard. But we'll be ready. We have something they don't have.
KALLIE: What's that?
ALEX: Me. I would say I have a strength and size advantage over them, but I'm also pretty quick myself. We can do it.
KALLIE: Yeah, we can. It's not like I'm a slouch in the high flying department either. The Dynamic Duo are gonna have their hands full, for sure.
ALEX: For sure.
The two fist bumped and moved back towards the small group of people that have accumulated.
KALLIE: Sweets! Sweets from the Sweet Treats. Come support OATH's best new tag team and get free candy. How great is that! Everyone loves candy!
The camera pulled back from the snack bar and panned over to the rest of Pillar and Post before fading to black.

#1 CONTENDERSHIP: TAG TEAM TITLES TAG TEAM MATCH Dynamic Duo vs. Sweet Treats
The next contest was set to determine the next challengers for the OATH Tag Team Champions as Dynamic Duo took on Sweet Treats. Both teams were coming off of victories and that’s what led to this contest here tonight. Logical booking!
VALERIE: One of these teams will be propelled into the spotlight after this contest. You have to believe that they will get their opportunity very soon.
O’NEIL: They will face either the Mancini Syndicate or The Runaways. It all depends who walks out of Calgary with the OATH Tag Team Titles.
VALERIE: Smart money would be on the Syndicate.
Serenity Scorpio started the contest against Alex Andrews. The two exchanged some speedy, cruiserweight offense. Andrews shut Scorpio down with a big knife edge chop and then tagged in Kallie Reznik. Sweet Treats nailed Scorpio with Double Elysiums (Running Bicycle Kicks) that floored her. Reznik covered for the first time in the contest.

O’NEIL: Dynamic Duo have been teaming for much longer that Sweet Treats but it doesn’t look like it right now.
VALERIE: It is early in the contest.
O’NEIL: Yeah I’m fucking aware.
Scorpio kicked out as Jocelyn Sky cheered her on from the apron. Scorpio fought up to her feet and Reznik locked up with her. Sky forced Reznik down into a headlock but Reznik shot her into the ropes. Sky was there to make the blind tag and Scorpio slid through Reznik’s legs, grabbing her arm and pulling it through. Reznik was doubled over and Sky hit her with a leg drop bulldog -- Grace Under Fire.
VALERIE: Excellent double team from the aptly named Dynamic Duo.
O’NEIL: Who is Batman and who is Robin?
VALERIE: I think they are both Batgirl.
O’NEIL: Sexist.
Sky and Scorpio got Reznik up to her feet and hit a double hip toss. Dynamic Duo both made for the ropes and came back with a double basement dropkick to Reznik’s face. Sky went to cover but Andrews was in the ring, she blasted Sky with a knee. Scorpio hit Andrews with a clothesline that took both of them over the top rope to the outside.
VALERIE: I did not expect this contest to break down so quickly.
On the outside Scorpio and Andrews started brawling on the outside as Reznik regained her faculties in the ring. Sky threw a wild kick that Reznik caught. Reznik smiled at Scorpio and then pulled her into Ursa Major (Buster Leg Drop DDT)! The crown of Sky’s head was driven into the canvas and Reznik covered.

At this point three figures appeared at the top of the ramp. The Hell Realm -- Ryan Terror, Adrestia Nyx, and Monstruo stood watching the contest. Reznik noticed them and then called out to Andrews. Andrews saw the trio at the top of the ramp and that gave Scorpio the opening to hit Andrews with a tornado DDT on the outside.
O’NEIL: Alex Andrews could be out of this contest!
VALERIE: DDTs on the floor tend to do that.
Back in the ring Sky reversed an Irish whip and sent Reznik hard into the corner. Sky darted toward her and hit her with shotgun knees in the corner! Reznik was crunched and then staggered out of the corner right into Straight to Heaven (Springboard Forearm Smash)! Reznik was down and out as Scorpio got back onto the apron to make the tag.
O’NEIL: Dynamic Duo could be closing on a championship opportunity!
VALERIE: Sweet Treats are about to feel quite sour.
O’NEIL: You get one of those. One.
Dynamic Duo measured Reznik and then blasted her with Double Yahtzee (Double Superkick)! Reznik was sent flailing backward into her corner where Andrews was there to make the tag. Andrews entered the ring and Dynamic Duo went for another Double Yahtzee (Double Superkick) but Andrews rolled through, hit the ropes, came back and blasted both of them with a spear! Sky rolled to the outside and Scorpio was left all alone with Sweet Treats.
VALERIE: Uh oh.
Reznik positioned herself in the corner and Andrews hit Scorpio with a backstabber and then propelled her right into Threads of The Moirai (Eclipse) from Reznik completing their Skittle Scramble combination! Andrews covered and Reznik stood on guard duty. Sky tried to enter the ring but Reznik threw her own body on top of her.

Winners: Sweet Treats
"Hypa Hypa" by Eskimo Callboy cued up and Sweet Treats embraced in the center of the ring. They had secured a shot at the OATH Tag Team Titles. When they would get that opportunity was another matter entirely. The Hell Realm started coming toward the ring and Sweet Treats decided that this was not a fight that they were interested in. They bailed out and escaped through the crowd.
O’NEIL: Sweet Treats wanted no part of The Hell Realm.
VALERIE: Not when they have a Tag Team Title Match coming up.
O’NEIL: I can’t say that I blame them.
Nyx and Terror entered the ring and approached Dynamic Duo. Sky rushed them but the exhaustion from the match made her a step slower and The Hell Realm planted her with The Protocol (Dudley Death Drop)! Scorpio tried her luck next but after a momentary struggle, THR took her down with Sacrifical Lamb (Powerbomb [Terror]/Meteora [Nyx])! The Hell Realm stood tall, their point proven.

TIGER: Okay, so, yeah… my run here at OATH hasn’t EXACTLY been all that spectacular. At least, not yet!
The camera focussed on a young Asian woman with shoulder length brown hair, a determined look on her face as she stands in a large, warehouse style gym. There were rope courses, weight benches, and rock walls, along with plenty of other pieces of workout equipment that would make the average health nut envious. This place was FM Young’s personal compound. Risa Saito Jackson, better known as the Super Tiger, was currently sitting on a weight bench, a towel draped around her neck. There was a light sheen all over the her face, chest, and arms as the 19 year old appears to have just finished a rather intense workout.
TIGER: See, I say not yet for a reason. Not everyone who comes into a new company sees success right out of the gate. My first real match was against a champion. I was not as prepared as I would’ve liked to have been, and Jamie did really good! She defended the LiveWire title with a ferocity well fitting of a student of this school.
Super Tiger grinned as she rose to her feet, using the plain white towel to wipe her forehead. She walked with a purpose, making her way to a ladder that led to a platform some fifteen or twenty feet off the ground. Suspended here, across a rather large gap, is a rope ladder. The luchadora looks up at it and grins, leaning back against the ladder. There was a thin layer of mats underneath the device, but that’s all that’s stopping someone who falls from meeting concrete.
TIGER: What you need to realize, dear OATH viewers and roster, is that I may get beat. I may get knocked down. I may tap out. But when it comes to stepping into that ring and giving it my absolute 100%? Well… nothing can ever stop me from doing that!
Super Tiger pointed up to the rope ladder, swaying gently in the still air of the warehouse.
TIGER: That is called a Jacob’s Ladder. I currently hold the record for fastest time traversing it. Mayumi Tanahashi has come close, and I encourage her to beat my time, because the only way to succeed is with competition! That’s what I’m here to say to you today, fellow roster members. I may fight against you. You may win. But with each and every single match I have inside of the ring, I’m learning. I’m always watching. Every single day I get a little bit better. A little faster. A little stronger. And, soon enough, there will come a time when someone else cuts a similar promo to this one, talking about me being their target.
The Asian giggled, tossing the towel aside and turning to climb the ladder.
TIGER: Ever growing. Always changing! Constantly evolving!
She scampered up the ladder with a speed most people would find incredible. She stood on the platform, looking down at the cameraman from fifteen feet high. She gave him a thumbs up and a very wide grin.
TIGER: SUPER TIGER RESU GO!!!
Like a flash, she’s off and making her way across the ladder as the scene fades to black.

It would appear that Johnny Draco was doing his homework on his upcoming opponent, in his mind knowing this would prepare him for what’s to come. The day was just beginning for the young fellow as he found himself with Tiffany Page outside an occult book store. A store that sold herbs and such that witches like Jamie Emmerson bought for spells. It also was a store that sought pride in selling spell books, crystals and tarot cards. Johnny Draco began to walk toward the stores entrance. His left hand reached gently for the door handle, pulling on it to open the door for Tiffany Page. He nodded his head watching her walk inside before joining her.
DRACO: This should be interesting.. I’ve never been in one of these stores before.
These words drift soon off his lips with his eyes glancing around the store. He was impressed by what he had been seeing in the store. A few crystals hung from the windowsill of the store. He knew he was in the right place to do his homework. He walked around slowly trying to see what the store had offered that day. Perhaps being able to find something to protect himself from Emmerson’s witchcraft. The smell of the store was burning incense. At that moment he stopped in his footsteps his eyes glancing down at the hex bags laying on a table. In his mind knowing what they were used for, the things they could do against the craft. His lips formed a grin as his confidence grew. He nodded his head softly picking up one of the hex bags off the table. His eyes admired it closely with his hand holding it up in the air.
DRACO: Perhaps this could be useful against spells that witch plans on pulling off.
PAGE: I do have to agree with you there Johnny, hex bags are used to shield against a witches spell. However, they can also cause harm to someone else.
DRACO: Is that right Tiffany well in that case it shall be a gift and a curse in tonights match. That is because I plan on doing things I’ve found pride in doing for years. Though with my talent I don’t think I’ll be needing it. It’s always good to have in case she manages to cast a spell. We both know she uses her witch craft to cause harm on her opponents. It also has fueled her to do the unthinkable through these recent weeks.
PAGE: Don’t let what she has done in the past get to you. She is for sure a fierce competitor in the ring. Yet you happen to be the workhorse this federation deserves. The man who will become the next Livewire Champion. Thus, proving Jamie Emmerson and those who doubt you wrong. This is a night you will remember for years to come.
He nodded his head towards Tiffany softly before walking away from her for a moment. His eyes looked towards the book shelves against the wall. Each shelf held books that consisted of spells of all sorts, he stopped when a certain book caught his eye. He brought his right hand up to grab hold of it, taking the book off of the shelf gently. He laughed seeing some dust move off the shelf when he took the book. He could tell the store owner hadn’t cleaned the store recently. He shook his head with this thought running through his mind. He began to open the book reading through each spell. His attention shifted from what was happening in the store. It was now on the spells inside the book.
DRACO: That’s the one she has to be using to pull this off. It gives her the ability to withstand anything an enemy can throw at her. The confidence levels of a witch build throughout the time this spell remains. This gives them the ability to do unexplainable things to their enemies. Yet at the split second it is broke the witch loses her evolved powers. This same harm caused by this spell is inflicted on the witch. It says here the way to break it is..
He read that last line closely giving him further understanding. He had to figure out a way to prevent her from using this spell against him. Each word painting a picture on how to break the spirit of the witch. He owed it to not only himself but the rest of the OATH Pro Wrestling roster to do it. He couldn’t become another victory given to the witch of OATH. His attention shifted towards the doorway and it opened. He noticed it was Livewire's main interviewer Kendrick Bingham. He nodded his head when the man made his way into the store. He turned around to face his direction, noticing he was walking up to Tiffany a microphone in his hand. Tiffany at the moment was looking at the tarot cards. These cards were used to tell one’s future and present happenings.
BINGHAM: Folks I am here with the manager of Johnny Draco, Mrs. Tiffany Page. Mrs. Page I would just like to ask you now that we’re here in this store, what are you doing here today?
PAGE: We are here to do more homework on Johnny’s upcoming opponent Jamie Emmerson. Perhaps finding some sort of understanding of how she’s fooling these fans. It is the witch craft that she practices that gives her this recent sense of luck. Tonight, we plan on going beyond expectations to expose her use of witch craft against opponents. This store just gives us the things a worthy opponent of hers might need.
BINGHAM: With that being in mind I’m sure the fans of OATH Pro Wrestling are wondering. What makes your client ready for later tonight’s match against Jamie Emmerson?
PAGE: You see recently my client’s opponent has been successful against all opponents. He doesn’t let that bother him as he continues to prepare for tonight’s match. Draco is one of the best wrestlers I have had the pleasure of being a manager to. He has become ready tonight through training daily and staying focused at the task at hand. I have received many calls throughout this week because he hasn’t slept until this moment. That just goes to show you and everyone, watching tonight his dedication to being Livewire Champion.
BINGHAM: With that being said what will your client be doing different than Jamie Emmerson’s past opponents?
PAGE: He knows he’s in for a fight of his life tonight. Yet it will be also be a night that sees him become a worthy champion. The thing about Draco that has impressed me throughout these short weeks. It is the way he strives on being one of the best. While, others have come and failed against the wicked witch of the east Jamie Emmerson. These same failing moments have shown him what he must do differently. He plans on bringing out the best of Jamie Emmerson in the ring. Thus, showing what’s left of her fanbase what she’s truly about. He’s not afraid to make her bleed in front of their eyes. That proves that he’s going to do things to her that even she will be regretting in the morning.
BINGHAM: I definitely get the feeling as though your client is both mentally and physically ready to give our current OATH Livewire Champion a fight. This should be a match the fans enjoy watching. A match that shows what these two talented competitors can do in the ring.
These words were heard by the nearby people in the store. At that moment Kendrick began to walk away from Tiffany Page. He noticed Johnny Draco, whom was putting his book back on the shelf. His attention turned towards Kendrick waving to the man slowly. He watched Kendrick walk out of the store shortly after. His focus was now on his opponent Jamie Emmerson.
Tonight’s match was one he had to prove himself in. It was his chance to show he belonged with the best of OATH. When the doors of the store closed Tiffany and Johnny Draco made their way to the store front counter. Johnny placed the hex bag onto the counter for the store clerk to ring up. He took notice of a pennies jar resting on the surface of the counter. Though these weren’t just regular pennies instead, they happened to be lucky pennies. A sort of penny that helped prevent bad luck.
DRACO: Might have to take one of these as well Tiffany.
PAGE: Yeah, you’re going to need one of those to prevent any bad luck. We don’t need that type of luck during this important Livewire title match.
He took one of the pennies out of the jar placing it down onto the counter. His right hand reached into his pocket to take out his wallet. He begins to flip it open after seeing how much his purchase costed him. He took out the money giving it to the store clerk slowly. The store clerk took the money from Draco, handing him the bag that held his purchases. He grabbed the bag from the store clerk before, starting to walk towards the entrance doors. Tiffany Page walking beside him as she nodded her head. They both were prepared to enjoy the glory of tonight’s Livewire title match. When the cameras shifted from the store the last thing the monitors show is a dead stuffed animal with blood running from its mouth. This symbolizing the pain Draco had prepared to inflict on Jamie Emmerson.

OATH LIVEWIRE CHAMPIONSHIP SINGLES MATCH Johnny Draco vs. Jamie Emmerson ©
Main event time motherfuckers. As always, the Livewire Championship was on the line as undefeated champion “The Black Metal Witch” Jamie Emmerson looked to defend the title for the third time against talented newcomer Johnny Draco. Draco came to the ring to a decent response, flanked by his manager Tiffany Lynn Page. The duo of Draco and Page were all business as they came to the ring. Draco started shadow boxing as Emmerson made her dark and dreary entrance. Once both competitors were in the ring, the referee took hold of the championship and held it high in the air. That’s how you know for sure that it’s a title match. You know it.
VALERIE: With a victory tonight Ms. Emmerson would surpass the record number of defences for the championship.
O’NEIL: Minoru Tanahashi was only able to defend the title twice. Jamie has already surpassed his reign, tonight she could surpass his record of defences.
The bell rang and the two competitors met in the center of the ring. Emmerson took on a shooter’s stance as Draco stood in his standard boxing stance. Draco threw a few light punches, just to see how Emmerson would react. She was able to duck and weave, none of the punches landing. Given that Draco was the one with the boxing background, you couldn’t help but be impressed that Emmerson was able to evade all of these shots. Draco continued throwing shots, knowing that if he could land just one of them it would be devastating to the champion. That time came when Draco faked a left hook and then landed a crushing body blow. Emmerson had the wind knocked out of her instantly and Page clapped from the outside in support of her charge.
VALERIE: Mr. Draco is a gifted striker. Ms. Emmerson must find a way to nullify that or she could get surprised and knocked out cold! I personally have done some boxing so I would know exactly how to defend myself against such offense.
O’NEIL: I’m sure you would.
VALERIE: Thank you.
O’NEIL: I was being sarcastic.
VALERIE: I am aware.
The challenger was quick to put Emmerson on the mat with a suplex and Emmerson knew that she needed to formulate a new plan. The Black Metal Witch rolled out onto the apron and used the ropes to pull herself up. Draco marched toward her but Emmerson used her superior speed to catch the stampeding Draco with a rope hanging roundhouse kick to the mush. Draco staggered backward but before he could get control of his faculties Emmerson hit a springboard into the ring and put the challenger down with a picture perfect hurricanranna. The champion made the first cover of the contest.

That CLEARLY wasn’t enough to put Draco down. Emmerson hit him with some stomps to the face because beyond wanting to win the match, she just straight up did not like this dude. This stems from their interactions on Twitter but you know she saw him fucking around in that occult bookstore. Emmerson takes her faith quite seriously and when others don’t -- she gets real salty. Draco started to stand so Emmerson took a few paces back. She then rushed Draco and that proved to be a bad call because he left his feet and cracked her in the face with one hell of a dropkick. The crowd popped and Draco knew that the tide had turned. He knew that shit. Draco hefted Emmerson up and then went for a powerbomb on his smaller opponent but would you look at this -- lil Emmerson took him down with a head scissors and his momentum was snuffed right out.
VALERIE: Ah, using her speed. A wise choice for the young champion.
O’NEIL: Is that what you would do, oh mighty warrior?
VALERIE: Oh if I was in this contest it would already be over. I am an expert in knockout blows. I am writing a book about it.
Draco found himself hanging over the middle rope, facing the audience. Dial it up, if you will. Emmerson applied a reverse waist lock and put her boots on the middle rope, looking for her Toil And Trouble slingshot German suplex but Draco was too heavy, too powerful for her small frame to lift. Draco smashed the champion in the side of the head with a back elbow and then pulled her back into his Serenity Prayer (Cross Rhodes). Draco covered and The Citadel was sure that they were about to see the crowning of a new Livewire Champion.

..!
O’NEIL: I will admit that I am impressed with Johnny’s tenacity tonight. He has been making the most of this opportunity so far.
VALERIE: Making the most of it would be a victory.
O’NEIL: Obviously.
Emmerson kicked out and nobody liked that. Nobody in the arena at least. That last move really fucked her up so Draco got a bright idea -- how about another big move? The former boxer climbed to the top rope and although he looked massive compared to Emmerson, dude only weighs 215lbs. Cruiserweight boy. Draco played to the crowd, getting them hyped for the victory that he envisioned. Draco then pointed down to the prone champion and went for a shooting star leg drop but homie wasted too much time. The Black Metal Witch rolled to safety and Draco landed right on his tailbone. Ouch. Draco sat on the mat, stunned by the pain, and then got some more of it because Emmerson came at him like a bullet and blasted him in the face with a shining wizard. The champion then took off for the ropes and came back with a springboard moonsault right across Draco’s sternum. Emmerson covered.
VALERIE: And the champion retains!
1..
2..
..!
O’NEIL: Shot your wad a bit quick there Vince.
VALERIE: Do not be vile.
Draco kicked out and his championship dreams were still alive. Page pounded on the ring apron from the outside and Emmerson shot her a glare that would make a weaker person faint. Emmerson went back to work and mounted Draco, looking for some ground and pound. Draco wasn’t having that shit and he shoved Emmerson backward, quickly getting up to his feet. Emmerson rushed him again but Draco blasted her with a haymaker that took her off her feet. Draco was quick to bundle the champion up and put her into the mat with a piledriver! The audience knew that this had to be it -- it was a piledriver for fuck’s sake! Draco covered.
1..
2..
..!
O’NEIL: I thought she was out cold!
VALERIE: To the untrained eye, yes. But for those of us versed in combat, it was clear that she would not be defeated by that.
O’NEIL: I would love to see you in a fight.
VALERIE: I am retired. I am too lethal for professional combat.
The champion was dazed and Draco knew that the title was within reach. He went to the top rope again and this time didn’t play to the crowd -- but amazingly Emmerson was back up. Perhaps out of survival instinct, Emmerson was quick to the top rope but Draco met her with a hard shot to the face. The champion’s head had taken some punishment and you could see that in the expression that she wore. The two battled back and forth with strikes until Draco took hold of the back of Emmerson’s head and then brought the both of them down on either side of the corner, smashing Emmerson’s face off the top of the ring post! Both competitors fell to the outside of the ring, on either side of the corner. The audience was shocked, Emmerson was clearly hurt.
O’NEIL: Okay now she is out cold.
VALERIE: Perhaps not. But she is definitely bleeding. Quite a bit.
The camera closed in on Emmerson -- she had been busted open. Draco was back up to his feet in short order and when he saw what he had done to the champion, a more determined expression appeared on his face. Draco took hold of the champion and sent her into the ring barrier with one hell of a beale. Draco then stomped a mudhole in her but did NOT walk it dry. Instead, he hefted Emmerson up and sent her into the ring. For the third time in this contest, Draco ascended to the top rope. He was determined to make this shit work. Draco steadied himself and then came off the top rope with a corkscrew 630° senton! The crowd was amazed by his athleticism and Draco pinned the champion once again.

2..
..!
VALERIE: The champion will not die.
O’NEIL: An impressive move none-the-less.
VALERIE: Perhaps a bit excessive. Had he missed -- again -- it would have been the end for Mr. Draco.
Draco could not believe the resilience of the champion! Bloodied and battered, Emmerson managed to kick out again. Draco maintained his resolve, he got Emmerson up and applied a full nelson. He looked to step through and hit her with The Mic Drop (Skull Crushing Finale) but Emmerson was able to slip out! Emmerson was behind Draco and before he could react, she cracked him with Athame (Hooking Superkick from behind). Emmerson, bloodied to fuck, climbed up to the second rope and tried for Thessalian Crescent (Diving Corkscrew Cutter) but Draco was up to his feet and he cut her off with a running uppercut.
VALERIE: Another devastating blow to Ms. Emmerson. She could be taking a walk on dream street at this point!
The champion was seated on the top rope, a bloodied and dazed mess. Draco climbed up to the second rope and applied a front face lock. He slung Emmerson’s arm around his neck and then pulled her off of the top rope with a brainbuster! The audience popped HUGE. There was no way that Emmerson was getting up after that. Not after the assault on her head. Draco floated over after a few moments into a cover. Page counted along with the referee from the outside.

2..
..!
O’NEIL: No! Johnny could not end it there but you have to believe that he is on the verge of winning his first championship in OATH.
Oh come on! That’s how Draco looked. Draco got Emmerson back up to her feet and then targeted her for the Face of Fear Kick (Sweet Chin Music) but at the last second, the champion stepped behind him and blasted him with a second Athame (Hooking Superkick from behind)! Emmerson stumbled over to the corner, hoisted herself up, then shot at Draco with the Thessalian Crescent (Diving Corkscrew Cutter) for the win! The gore covered champion covered Draco.

Winner: Still OATH Livewire Champion, Jamie Emmerson
The referee checked on the champion but Emmerson could not stand. She was a bloody mess. Trainers entered the ring to check on her as Draco rolled to the outside to be consoled by Tiffany Lynn Page. As the trainers attended to the champion, OATH Vice President Oscar R. Barlow walked out onto the stage with a microphone.
BARLOW: What an incredible contest! Everyone should be overjoyed with the competition that we just witness! Mr. Draco, you have nothing to be ashamed of -- that was a sterling effort!
Draco was down on one knee, ringside. Defeated for tonight, but not for good.
BARLOW: I was so impressed with your heart and determination that I have recommended to Mr. Straker that you get an opportunity to show what you can do on Conviction next week.
Tiffany seemed happy with that announcement but Draco was still dealing with his loss.
BARLOW: As for you Ms. Emmerson, if you are medically cleared to compete next week I have decided your next challenger! You see, you have made some very interesting comments about the calibre of opponent that we have offered you! Some that are not so kind! But as luck has it, there is someone else performing on Livewire that also has taken issue with our booking.
