OUT OF CHARACTER

OATH Pro Wrestling is an Angle Based Wrestling E-Federation. To participate you must have a Twitter account for your character and you must fill out an application. Once you are booked on an event, you must use the specified hashtag to promote the match and give us insight into your character’s mindset regarding said match.

The presentation style will be similar to New Japan Pro Wrestling in that it will be written as a sporting event, with very little backstage segments – at first. Post event press conferences and in-ring promos will serve to further storylines. As the federation evolves we will begin to incorporate different methods of storytelling as they are called for.

You may message the staff via Twitter to discuss your character but know that this is an angle based game. Your character is not going to win all of the time. Do not complain about losses. You may contact the staff regarding how we have written your character and we will happily work with you to ensure that you are having the best experience possible.

We are only accepting applications for Male Wrestlers for the initial tournament at this time. Female Wrestlers are welcome to apply, but they will not be entered in the tournament they will have matches on the undercard. OATH will not feature intergender matches at this time, however, that could change in the future.

The initial run of shows will begin on July 20th, with a 15 day round robin tournament called the Event Horizon series. There will be an event every other day, with four tournament matches on each show. The first eight male competitors to submit an application will be entered in the tournament. Anyone who applies after that will be booked on the undercard for the duration of the tournament.

Note that Female Wrestlers will be treated as equal to the Male Competitors, but in the interest of giving the federation a “real” feel they will compete in a separate division. The Women’s Division will have it’s own spotlight following the Event Horizon Series.

As with any e-fed, the federation will grow and change as time progresses. We will rely on feedback from handlers in order to know what is working and what isn’t. MISSION

OATH Pro Wrestling has been created with the goal of providing world class wrestling to those fans who crave authenticity. We Pledge to be the best representation of what this industry can be. All of our wrestlers will take the Pledge seriously and if they do not live up to the standards that our fans will come to expect, then they will be left behind.

OATH is a touring company that will never stand still, it will constantly be on the move. We plan to have the company begin in North America but from there we will take the brand all over the globe. When we say that we will leave those who do not measure up behind, we mean it.

OATH will be a federation that focuses on in-ring competition and drama. Little attention will be paid to the business side of the industry; OATH is a wrestling company and wrestling is a sport.
