KICKOFF SHOW
— Legion def. Tanay Wilson This match was fairly quick as outwrestled Wilson with some impressive technical prowess. Following a series of rolling gutwrench suplexes Legion put Wilson to bed with Legion Boost (Running Big Boot). — Zac Geary def. Kozutsami Jiro Jiro of Wrestling Kakumei tried to mess with the OATH newcomer Geary in the early parts of this contest, acting as if he wasn’t taking “Ursa Major” seriously but Geary hit a single arm DDT and then applied Grind Your Gears (Arm-trap Crossface) and forced Jiro to submit. — The Dynasty def. The Gomi Boys This one didn’t last long as the Slayton brothers quickly neutralized Hiroshi and then laid Kazu out with Chaos Theory (Burning Hammer/Diving Double Foot Stomp Combo) to get the victory. — Catriona MacKenzie def. Jain Kekoa These two fan favourites took each other to task in this match, Kekoa utilizing his highflying offense to great success in the early parts of the match. The OATH Original MacKenzie fought back and after some impressive back and forth with her opponent she hit a bicycle superkick and then applied the Lassie Lock (Scorpion Cross Lock) to get the submission victory.
MAIN CARD
— Opening The OATH signature played and the scene cut to an undisclosed location. The room we found ourselves looking upon was almost completely white. Sterile and cold. White tiles lined the walls, concrete painted white on the floor. The only other “colour” was a stainless steel wall that featured a series of drawers. A man in black medical scrubs entered the room slowly. The man snapped one of his rubber gloves and approached one of the drawers with purpose. A closer look saw the man’s gloved hand grab a handle and open a small door. There, inside, we saw a veiled body. We were looking at a morgue. The man pulled out the drawer slowly and the shrouded body along with it. The man slowly reached his hand to the top of the slate and hovered for a moment over the head of the body. Anticipation rose as his hand shook for what seemed like eternity before he suddenly pulled away the veil. The face he revealed was that of OATH wrestler, “The Most Dangerous” Erik Holland. Holland lays there, eyes closed and motionless. His body was blue and lifeless. The shot was still above Holland’s body and orchestral music started to rise. Haunting strings and booming drums got louder and louder for a time and then stopped. Suddenly Holland’s eyes opened. The shot closed in, zooming ever closer until we could only see his left eye and there, in the center of his pupil it was not black, but it was the image of the OATH World Championship. Cut to the arena in Calgary and pyro exploded from the bottom of the ramp sequentially on either side until it reached the top of the stage where a massive succession of pyro went off. We then got a bird’s eye view of the arena where the fans in Calgary were on their feet and cheering with intense enthusiasm. “Swerve City” by Deftones boomed throughout the arena. The shot changed to ringside where the voices of OATH stood with their backs to the announce table. Ben Petrie and Matt Mears greeted us, Mears smiling and Petrie…looking neutral. “Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the last OATH pay-per-view of 2019, Violent Ends. My name is Matt Mears and here I am beside my broadcast colleague Benjamin Petrie.” Mears said, turning to look at his partner. Petrie looked less than pleased. “Something wrong Benjamin?” “Yeah,” Petrie said. “First of all, you have to stop calling me Benjamin. Second of all, why in the fuck did this pay-per-view start with a video package showing what Erik Holland is going to look like when this night is over? Why are we spoiling the ending?” “I am pleased that you are looking at this from a journalistic perspective. Your prediction for our main event World Title Match between champion Declan Black and challenger Erik Holland is that Black murders Holland?” “Kind of. Black is definitely going to win but I don’t actually think he’s gonna fucking kill Holland.” Petrie said and Mears looked pleased with the response. “I think that once Holland loses, he’ll kill himself.” Petrie added. Mears did not look pleased with that comment. “I don’t find that funny Benjamin. But tonight is not about jokes, tonight is about some of the biggest matches that OATH has seen yet! We have four championship matches and this night could change the course of OATH going into the new year!” Mears said. “We do not want to waste any time, we want to get right to the action so let’s go to the ring for our first contest.”
— Alex Pierce vs. Aura Everton The first match of the evening saw “The First Fist Ace” Alex Pierce take on “New World Aura” Aura Everton. Both competitors were coming off of victories at the last episode of Conviction and it was implied by the commentary team that the winner of this contest would find themselves worthy at a championship opportunity. Pierce and Everton stared each other down. The crowd in Calgary was happy to see this one as the staredown brought everyone in the arena to their feet. Everton smirked and then smashed Pierce with a headbutt but Pierce responded with one of his own. Everton ate it and then said something inaudible to Pierce before the two started hammering away on each other. “I did not see that reaction from Calgary coming. They like both of these competitors and they want to see them fight!” Matt Mears said. “Yeah cool let’s have a good clean contest.” Petrie said sarcastically. “Boring!” Pierce got the upper hand with a knee to Everton’s mid-section and then he whipped her into the ropes. Everton came back looking for a forearm but Pierce evaded it and went for a discus forearm smash but Everton blocked it and caught Pierce with an uppercut. “The Fire Fist Ace” was sent back into a corner and he checked his mouth to see if he was bleeding. Everton shrugged at him and then charged in but Pierce slipped through the ropes and caught her with a high kick. Pierce climbed to the top rope and went for a flying something but Everton moved. Pierce was able to roll through and Everton looked to follow up with a roundhouse kick but Pierce rolled forward again to evade it. The two locked eyes again and Everton clapped in a mocking fashion as Pierce looked up at her from a knee. Everton then threw a wild punch and Pierce blocked it, catching Everton’s arm and taking her over with a hip toss. Everton landed on her knees and Pierce hit her with Glimmering Warlock (Feint shining wizard transitioned into a reverse roundhouse). Pierce covered but only got a two count. Pierce kept the pressure on, attacking Everton’s left knee with some quick stomps. Everton fought up to her feet and threw a kick with her right leg but Pierce evaded it and chopped her left knee. Pierce grabbed her left leg and looked to apply the Southern Cross Stretch (Figure-four Sharpshooter) but Everton fought out of it before it could be locked in. “Evidently, these two have studied one another.” Mears said. “Sometimes you say the most obvious shit Mears.” Petrie said. “If you weren’t married to my fucking sister I’d be a lot meaner to you.” Everton clutched the ropes after getting away from the hold. Pierce ran and hit her with a running high knee and as she staggered to the middle of the ring, he picked her up and sat her on the top rope. Pierce cracked Everton with an uppercut to daze her and then climbed to the top rope with her. “This–” Mears began to say but then stopped. “What Mears? What were you about to say?” Petrie prodded. “I was going to say that this is not a good place to be for Everton…” Mears said. “Fucking obviously! God damn it!” Petrie responded. “You asked.” Mears said sheepishly. Pierce looked like he was setting Everton up for a top rope DDT but Everton hit a flurry of huge kidney punches and then got Pierce up in a fireman’s carry. She tossed him off the top rope and Pierce hit the mat with a thud but he bounced and found himself on all fours. “Oh. No.” Mears said. Everton looked down and then without hesitation she came off of the top rope with a modified Sober Up (Leaping Curb Stomp) to the back of Pierce’s head. Pierce’s face was driven into the mat and Everton immediately covered for the three count. Winner: Aura Everton Following the bell Everton’s music did not play. EMTs immediately hit the ring to check on Pierce and Everton cleared a path, even holding the ropes open for them. Everton herself looked a little stunned by what she had to do to win. The EMTs checked on Pierce and he seemed to be okay but everyone in the arena was stunned. After a few minutes Pierce pushed the medical personnel away and got to his feet. Everton stood in a corner, watching. Pierce held the back of his head as he stared at Everton. There was a moment of tension before Pierce nodded at Everton and then left the ring.
— Veronica Taylor vs. Wendy Wynne Veronica Taylor has been with OATH from the beginning and has challenged for championships here in the past but after dismissing her own mother, who was her manager, Taylor’s losing ways have only continued. Wendy Wynne on the other hand holds a contract for a shot at any OATH title whenever she chooses.
Taylor was in the ring when Wynne made her entrance. Wynne was armed with a microphone. Wynne addressed Taylor’s lack of success in OATH and then referenced her own Championship Opportunity Contract. Wynne said that Taylor has potential and that Taylor only needs a real opportunity. Wynne said that she would be willing to take Taylor under her wing as a partner to go after the Tag Team Titles…under one condition.
“Oh I can’t wait to hear what Wynne has in mind here.” Matt Mears said.
Wynne said that if Taylor were to just lay down tonight and let Wynne pin her, Wynne would consider making Taylor her partner in challenging for the Tag Team Titles. Taylor seemed to think about it for a moment but apparently Taylor’s momentary consideration took too long for Wynne because Wynne jumped Taylor with a boot to the face.
The bell rang and Wynne was on top of Taylor with some big punches. It broke apart and Taylor tried to compose herself but Wynne cracked her with a high standing dropkick. Taylor powdered to the outside and Wynne called for a dive. Wynne charged the ropes but stopped short and started laughing.
“Wendy Wynne is really something.” Mears said.
“Speak your mind Matt.” Ben Petrie replied.
“She is just…something.” Mears said.
“World class analysis there.” Petrie said.
Taylor walked around the ring and then got up on the apron. As Taylor moved to get in the ring Wynne approached her but Taylor quickly got back on the apron and called for the referee to intervene. The referee sighed and obliged, backing Wynne away.
The audience in Calgary seemed frustrated with both competitors. A “Boring” chant started but neither Wynne or Taylor seemed to care. Taylor slowly entered the ring and then gestured that she had changed her mind and was going to lay down for Wynne. Taylor cautiously got down and laid on the mat.
“Are you kidding me?” Mears said.
“Smart call from Taylor.” Petrie said.
Wynne seemed elated. She approached Taylor on the mat and as she bent down to cover, Taylor rolled her up! The referee nearly counted three but Wynne kicked out at the last second. The two scrambled back up to their feet but Wynne was the quicker of the two. Wynne slapped the taste out of Taylor’s mouth and then hit her with Bad Karma (Standing Shiranui).
The Wicked Witch quickly transitioned into her For The Wynne (Texas Cloverleaf) submission. Taylor reached out for the ropes but Wynne wrenched back with all of her might and Taylor, in order to avoid serious injury, had no choice but to submit.
Winner: Wendy Wynne
Wynne got her hand raised and took a moment to enjoy her victory. Wynne turned and stuck Taylor with a stomp to the gut, likely for not accepting Wynne’s offer. Wynne then “kicked dirt” on Taylor before leaving the ring.
— Brie Marie vs. Josie Wales This next match seemed like a mismatch at first and “The Outlaw” Josie Wales let everyone in Calgary know that she wasn’t taking Marie seriously after pie facing “Dashie” across the ring. Marie evidently take offence, she just smiled. The two locked up and Wales put Marie into a headlock. Marie tried to shove Wales into the ropes and got a step but Wales re-upped on the headlock. Wales then transitioned into a hammerlock but Marie reached up and took Wales over with a snapmare. “It is well documented that Josie Wales does not want to fight other women. She believes that she is above them all.” Matt Mears said. “Perhaps Brie Marie can change that narrative tonight.” Marie got a big pop from Calgary and took a bow. Wales looked shocked, took a moment to dust herself off and then got back to her feet. They locked up again but this time Wales sent Marie flying across the ring with a beale. “Dashie” scrambled up and looked for another lock up but Wales hit her with a knee to the mid-section and then sent Marie across into a corner…or at least she tried to. Marie reversed the momentum and then ran in looking for Special Delivery (Big boot, to a cornered opponent) and she hit it dead on! “Lucky break for Brie Marie.” Ben Petrie said. “How do you figure?” Mears said. “Uh…Wales…uh…tripped. Yeah. She tripped.” Petrie replied. Wales was rocked and then tossed onto her back. Marie saw her opportunity so she climbed to the top rope and attempted the Pulse Bomb (Diving somersault seated senton). Wales moved out of the way at the last moment and Marie landed right on her tailbone. With Marie seated and stunned Wales hit the ropes and smashed Marie in the face with a penalty kick. The crowd was aghast as Marie lay on the mat holding her face. Wales circled Marie like some kind of cowgirl shark like creature, slapping at the back of Marie’s head. Wales got Marie up to her feet but Marie broke her grip and blasted Wales with Yahtzee (Super Kick Outta Nowhere)! Wales dropped and Marie pinned her. “This could be over!” Mears said. “What!?” Petrie said.
1..
2..
..! “Yeah I knew it wasn’t over.” Petrie said. The crowd was shocked as Marie nearly picked up the victory. Feeling the support from the fans in Calgary, Marie climbed up to the top rope and wasted no time. Marie came flying off the top rope with Falling Speed Ball (Cannonball from the middle rope) right onto Wales. Marie covered again.
1.. 2.. ..!
Wales was able to kick out a second time but she was clearly nursing some serious damage. Marie stood Wales up and then she herself hit the ropes. Perhaps a little overconfident, Marie came charging back and went for something but Wales laid her out with a bicycle kick. Clearly pissed right off at this point, Wales treated her opponent to some vicious stomps.
“The Outlaw” was content with stomping on Marie but with each stomp Marie started to show more fire with each shot. By the tenth stomp Marie fired back with a right hand. Wales went for one of her own but Marie blocked it and smashed Wales in the face again. “Dashie will not go down without a fight! I do not think Josie Wales expected this kind of fire from Brie Marie!” said Mears.
Marie then hit Wales with alternating kicks to each knee before dropping Wales to a knee with one extremely hard final kick. Marie hit the ropes and came back looking for Shining Dash Attack (Shining Wizard) but Wales hit her with a knee to the mid-section and then planted her with the Rio Lobo Driver (Quackendriver 3). Wales covered, grinding her forearm into Marie’s face and got the three count.
Winner: Josie Wales
“The Outlaw” got her hand raised and then turned her attention back to Marie, who was starting to stir. The camera closed in to show Marie on the mat, looking dejected. Wales approached Marie and after a moment of tension, Wales held out her hand. “Oh God is she actually going to accept this?” Petrie said. “What a moron.”
After a moment of consideration, Marie accepted it and Wales helped Marie up. Wales gave Marie a nod but then pulled her in for a second Rio Lobo Driver (Quackendriver 3). The audience was enraged and Wales simply laughed at them and Marie before leaving the ring.
— Enigma Protocol vs. Midnight Special Enigma Protocol were in the ring after their entrance. As their music died down Miguel violently ripped the microphone from the ring announcer and handed it over to TERROR. TERROR paced around the ring while Miguel snarled at the crowd.
“To maintain the balance, one must do things that they aren’t willing to normally do.” TERROR said. “One must be open to either making or taking a sacrifice. And sometimes, the minds of others must be rewired to begin the cleansing process.” TERROR smiled slightly as he looked over at Miguel.
“Midnight Special, it is abundantly clear that you two are having some trouble in dealing with the sudden shift of the odds. With the ‘disappearance’ of your third man, the balance has been tilted back to an even plane. Now you two are standing in the way of maintaining the balance. An infraction that is punishable by a severe beating at the hands of the Protocol.” TERROR said as he handed the microphone to Miguel.
Miguel took the microphone and started pacing. “Parece que todos necesitan un recordatorio de quiénes somos exactamente. No debemos ser molestados. No debemos ser tomados a la ligera. Vengan aquí, pendejos, y permítanos mostrarle quiénes son realmente el Protocolo Enigma.” … “[It seems that everyone needs a reminder of who we are exactly. We must not be disturbed. We should not be taken lightly. Come here, assholes, and let us show you who the Enigma Protocol really is.]” Miguel said before slamming the microphone on the mat. “Good thing we have English closed captioning for those fans of ours who do not speak Spanish.” Matt Mears said. “Most of our fans can’t read Mears.” Ben Petrie said. Midnight Special came charging to the ring. Both Harvey Carbine and Josh Cherry slid in under the bottom rope and they were fired up. Cherry cracked TERROR with a running knee to the chin, which sent him into a corner and Miguel got wrecked by a clothesline from Carbine.
The referee demanded that both teams go to their corners and both members of Enigma Protocol now seemed as fired up as Miguel snarled in the corner. TERROR took his place on the apron and gestured for Miguel to have at it. Cherry gestured for caught Miguel with a go behind and then looked to pick his leg but Miguel kicked Cherry right in the face. Miguel sent Cherry across the ropes and then lifted him up high in the air and let him crash fast first into the mat. Following a flurry of stomps to the back of Cherry’s head, Miguel got him up and tagged in TERROR. Miguel lifted Cherry up for a suplex and then TERROR came off the second rope, grabbed Cherry’s legs and helped Miguel drive Cherry’s head into the mat with an assisted brainbuster. “Oh my what a vile double team from Enigma Protocol.” said Mears. “Perhaps Cherry will be come a little smarter with that cognitive adjustment.” Petrie replied. TERROR covered in a lackadaisical fashion while staring across the ring at Carbine, smirking. Cherry kicked out at two but TERROR didn’t seem surprised. TERROR then hit Cherry with a series of brutal knees to the mid-section and then planted Cherry with a Paradigm Shift (Vertical suplex lifted and dropped into a double knee backbreaker). Cherry was down and out, TERROR tagged in Miguel, who entered the ring but then dashed to the other side and hit Carbine with a forearm smash. Miguel then backed away as Carbine tried to enter the ring but the referee stopped him. This provided Enigma Protocol the opportunity to beat the living shit out of Cherry with no consequences The referee turned his attention to the beat down and forced TERROR out of the ring. Cherry was clearly in a daze as Miguel grabbed him by the throat and went for the Ay Dios Mio (Chokebomb) but Cherry came to just in time to slip out of it. Cherry then leaped into the air and cracked Miguel with Cherry’s Jubilee (Jump Stalling Sidekick). “This is Cherry’s opportunity. He desperately needs to tag in Harvey Carbine.” Mears said. “Well duh. They will definitely lose if he doesn’t make the tag. They will also likely do if he does. Tough situation.” Petrie said. The crowd was surprisingly on the side of Midnight Special as Cherry started to crawl across the ring. Miguel himself was rocked but he was close enough to his corner that TERROR was able to blind tag in. TERROR ran into the ring and grabbed Cherry’s leg. Cherry hopped on one foot and reached out for the tag to Carbine. “This is it! He has to make this tag!” Mears commented. Carbine reached his body as far as it would go to try and get the tag but he wasn’t close enough. Cherry hopped on one foot, then turned and caught TERROR with an enziguri. TERROR dropped and Carbine got the tag. Carbine entered the ring and clobbered TERROR with a lariat. Miguel entered the ring and tried to get the drop on Carbine but he got speared nearly in half. TERROR was back up but Carbine smashed him with a headbutt. Carbine then lifted TERROR up for a spinebuster then Cherry hit the ropes and smashed TERROR with a sick kick as Carbine dropped TERROR with a spinebuster. Carbine covered.

2..
..! Miguel came out of nowhere and broke up the pin but Cherry got back to his feet. Cherry shot Miguel into the ropes and then followed him over the top rope with a clothesline. Both men crashed to the outside and landed in a heap. In the ring Carbine and TERROR locked up but TERROR whipped Carbine hard into the corner. Carbine staggered backward right into Out of the Shadows (Superkick) to the back of Carbine’s head. On the outside of the ring Miguel tried to whip Cherry into the ringpost but Cherry reversed it and Miguel met the ring post head first. In the ring TERROR had Carbine set up for Death Sentence (Stormbreaker) but Cherry slid into the ring and pulled Carbine off of TERROR’s shoulders. Cherry then hit the opposing ropes and with Carbine he hit Minutes to Midnight (Slingblade [Cherry] / Backside Spear [Carbine]). TERROR was rocked and Carbine covered.

2.. ..3!
The bell rang and Calgary exploded. They may have disliked Midnight Special in the past but they seemingly dislike Enigma Protocol way more. Cherry and Carbine celebrated together in the ring while Enigma Protocol regrouped on the outside.
Winners: Midnight Special
As Cherry and Carbine celebrated, a figure appeared in the crowd and quickly hopped the barricade. Said figure was adorned with a mask got up on the apron. The figure let out a whistle of sorts to get Midnight Special’s attention. Both Cherry and Carbine turned as the figure hit a springboard into the ring and took both of them out with a double dropkick.
“Who is this?” Mears asked. “A little too slender to be Combo XL.” Petrie said.
Enigma Protocol re-entered the ring but this time both were armed with barbed wire baseball bats. The two began laying into the respective members of Midnight Special with the bats, opening up cuts and gashes all over both mens’ backs.
“Jesus Christ…this has gone too far.” Mears said.
Security flooded the ring and Enigma Protocol, along with the masked attacker. The trio backed up the ramp and the masked figure revealed their face.
“That’s Cheyenne Black! She was once the manager of Enigma Protocol in the past. Is she joining them here in OATH?” Mears asked.
“Evidently so.” Petrie replied. “Enigma Protocol took out Midnight Special’s third and brought in one of their own. That’s some 4D chess right there.”
— Tag Team Championship Thot Chocolate vs. The Inevitable © Our second tag team of the match was up next but before the competitors came to the ring, David and Patrick Slayton – The Dynasty came to ringside. The brothers sat on chairs in front of the commentary table, opting not to join the conversation. “That is just rude. I can’t see!” Ben Petrie said. “You the matches on the monitors.” Matt Mears said. “It’s still fucking rude.” Petrie replied. Thot Chocolate came to the ring to a decent reaction and then the champions entered and they also got a reasonable pop. Calgary was split on who to root for, seemed that the wrestling is what would eventually sway them. Cartier and Leah started the match with a lock up. Cartier sent Leah into the ropes but Leah held the top rope and hung on. Cartier rushed Leah but Leah low bridged the top rope and Cartier vaulted over the top, landing on the apron. Cartier stuck her tongue out at Leah and Leah slapped her in the face. Leah then tried to capitalize by hitting Cartier with a suplex into the ring but Cartier slipped out, landed behind her, and put her shoulders on the mat with a school girl. 1.. ..! Leah kicked out, rolled backward, and then dove backward with her hand out and impressively made the tag to Stephanie Matsuda. As Matsuda entered the ring, Cartier charged over to meet her but Matsuda sent Cartier into the middle turnbuckle with a drop toe hold. Matsuda then gestured to Leah. “The Inevitable have been Tag Team Champions for some time now and we are about to see why!” Matt Mears said. “Because Matsuda orders Leah around?” Ben Petrie asked. Leah cut across the ring, flipped off SILK, and then ran back across the ring. Matsuda lifted Leah up and over head. Leah came down with a dropkick to the back of Cartier’s head. Matsuda then tossed Cartier onto her back and covered. “Christ what a double team!” Mears said.
1..
2..
..! Cartier was able to kick out. Matsuda slipped out onto the apron and then called out to the audience. Cartier stood up in a bit of a daze. Cartier turned just in time to see Matsuda fly into the ring with Final Heaven (Springboard Forearm Smash) but at the last second Cartier jumped up and caught Matsuda with Eat This Ass! (Rear View). “Cartier with an incredible counter! Matsuda got levelled!” Mears said. With Matsuda down, Cartier opted not to pin but make her way to SILK for the tag. The Dynasty watched intently from outside the ring. Cartier made the tag and then slipped out onto the apron. Matsuda was up and she charged at SILK but SILK acted first and nailed her with Bareback (Olympic Slam). SILK stomped across the ring and gyrated in front of Leah before hitting her with the double bird. Leah grabbed at him but SILK slithered away, right into a snap German suplex from Matsuda! Matsuda floated over into a cover. 1..
2..! SILK kicked out right at two but Matsuda hit him with a stiff stomp to the head and then walked across the ring, dragging SILK with her. Matsuda went for a tag but SILK pulled her back into the B.J. [Break Jaws] (Stunner)! Instead of covering, SILK blasted Leah off of the apron with a hard right hand. “Ha!” Petrie said. SILK tagged in Cartier and then they hit Matsuda with Sittin’ on Top of The World (SILK gets an opponent in the electric chair drop position and Cartier comes off of the top rope and hits the opponent with a diving seated senton). Leah stood up on the outside and found herself standing in front of The Dynasty. SILK charged and vaulted over the top rope onto Leah, both of them colliding with both members of The Dynasty! In the ring Cartier set Matsuda up for the Staten Island Slam (Alabama Slam) but Matsuda was able to roll through into a pinfall! 1..
2..
..! Cartier kicked out at the last second. On the outside of the ring SILK got to his feet but The Dynasty were up too. With the referee preoccupied by what was happening in the ring, The Dynasty exacted their revenge on SILK by hitting him with Final Vindication (Total Elimination). “What the hell? The Dynasty are not involved in this match!” Mears said. “I guess they are now! They just cost Thot Chocolate the Tag Team Titles!” Petrie said in jubilation. Leah saw her opportunity and she slid back into the ring. Matsuda grabbed Cartier and dropped her with Blasian Suplex (Sleeper Suplex). With Leah in the ring, The Inevitable set up for something big. Outside the ring, SILK was up and The Dynasty were walking off. Irate, SILK nearly went after them but then he saw Cartier in trouble in the ring. SILK seemed torn as Leah had Cartier set up for Drop The Bomb (Dead Eye) and Matsuda climbed to the top rope. SILK made his choice and got up on the apron, SILK nailed Matsuda and climbed up to the top rope. Leah let go of Cartier and tried to help Matsuda but SILK tossed Matsuda off of the top rope onto Leah. The Inevitable collided and Leah was sent through the ropes to the outside. Thot Chocolate had their moment and they nailed Matsuda with Sweet Tooth (SILK gets the opponent up in a wheelbarrow lift and Cartier jumps off the top rope and connects with a Codebreaker as SILK leans forward to drive the opponent into the Codebreaker with as much force as possible). Cartier covered.

Winners: New OATH Tag Team Champions, Thot Chocolate
The crowd erupted as Cartier and SILK were handed the hardware. The Inevitable were down as Thot Chocolate stood above them with the titles raised but their jubilation quickly soured as they turned their attention to The Dynasty, who was watching from the top of the ramp. The Dynasty pointed to Thot Chocolate in the ring, indicating their intent.
— Intrepid Championship – Triple Threat Match James Edwards vs. Samantha Hamilton vs. Locke Helms © Samantha Hamilton made her way to the ring first and then waited patiently. James Edwards’ music hit but he did not come out. We then cut to the backstage area where Edwards had seemingly jumped Intrepid Champion, Locke Helms. Edwards tossed Helms through the curtain and then jumped on top of him, at the top of the ramp.
“This seems out of character for James Edwards.” Matt Mears said. “Helms nearly ripped Edwards arm off a few weeks ago.” Ben Petrie said. “I don’t like the fucking guy but he has every right to be pissed off.”
Edwards laid into Helms at the top of the ramp with rights and lefts while Hamilton watched from the ring. Edwards got Helms up and tossed him down the ramp. Helms rolled all the way down the ramp and landed at the bottom. Edwards charged down the ramp toward Helms where he was met with Diamond Rain (Standing Moonsault Slam/C4) from Helms. Edwards landed hard on the steel ramp. Helms got Edwards up and rolled him into the ring. Once Helms was in the ring too, the match began. Helms kicked Edwards back out of the ring and then turned his attention to Hamilton, the woman that he took the championship from. “This is the story here. Helms has been obsessed with Hamilton since taking the championship from her last month.” Mears said.
“She already has two husbands Locke! Don’t bother!” Petrie said. “The Chairman of Chaos” approached “The Titaness” and they squared up. Helms offered Hamilton a free shot and Hamilton looked somewhat perplexed. Before she could make a move, Edwards was back in the ring. Edwards hit Helms from behind with Fire From Heaven (Discuss Roundhouse) and then he blasted Hamilton with a forearm smash to the face. Hamilton did not take kindly to Edward’s actions so she grabbed him and sent him face first into the top turnbuckle. Edwards staggered backward right into a snap release German suplex that saw Edwards land right on top of Helms. “That was…effective.” Mears said.
“The Titaness” grabbed Helms and levelled him with a lariat. Hamilton got Edwards up and dropped him on Helms again with a scoop slam. Hamilton covered both men and the audience was loving it. The referee seemed confused at first but he counted. 1.. 2..!
Both men were able to kick out and get to their feet. Hamilton hit the ropes and looked for a double clothesline to both of her opponents but they put her down with a double shoulder block. Helms quickly clapped Edwards’ ears and then hit him with Shadows over Heck (Exploder suplex lifted and dropped into a modified scoop powerslam).
Edwards rolled out to the apron and when Helms tried to grab him, Hamilton came from behind and rolled Helms up. Helms rolled through and transitioned into a reverse arm bar. Helms wrenched back with all of his might but Edwards got back into the ring and he caught Helms with a knee to the chin, breaking the hold.
“That hold did some serious damage to Hamilton. You can tell by the look on her face.” Mears said.
“She always looks like that.” Petrie replied.
“Like she’s in pain?” Mears said.
“Sure.” Petrie said.
“The Burning Heart” grabbed the champion and took him over with Foxfire (Fisherman Brainbuster). Helms was dropped right on the crown of his head but Edwards decided not to cover. Edwards applied a reverse arm bar of his own. Helms was trapped in the middle of the ring and Hamilton was nursing her own injured arm.
Helms was able to roll through into a pin but Edwards kicked out immediately. The two quickly got back to their feet and Helms blocked a punch from Edwards and set him up for Witching Hour (Full Nelson Legsweep into an Arm Triangle). Before Helms could hit the leg sweep Hamilton charged through and speared both men!
“Holy shit! Hamilton is a beast.” Petrie said. “I mean, I still don’t like her but that was pretty bad ass.”
Hamilton got Helms up and set him up for Wrath Of The Titans (Pedigree) but Helms took her over with a back body drop. Edwards got back to his feet and nailed Helms with a knee to the chin. Edwards set Helms up for Violent Genesis (Ripcord Spinning Back Fist) but Helms ducked under the backfist and Edwards hit Hamilton.
Helms tossed Edwards through the ropes to the outside and then Helms grabbed Hamilton and hit her with Witching Hour (Full Nelson Legsweep into an Arm Triangle). Hamilton was trapped in the submission in the middle of the ring. Her arm, having been damaged earlier, could not withstand any further damage and she was forced to submit.
Winner: Still OATH Intrepid Champion, Locke Helms
Helms was handed his championship and he stood over Hamilton, looking very pleased to have defeated her again. The shot then switched to Edwards on the outside, who looked irate. Edwards slipped into the ring and looked to go after Helms but the champion appeared to be finished for the night.
Helms walked up the ramp with his championship and his back to the ring. Edwards looked like he was going to go after him but Edwards thought better of it.
— Tabula Rasa Championship — First Blood Match Jake Archer vs. Nina Stokes © This next match was perhaps the biggest blood feud of the night and that is fitting, given the match stipulation. “The Man In High Demand” Jake Archer came to the ring but his ring gear was a little different from usual. Archer was covered head to toe in spandex. Archer took off the mask at the top of the ramp to show that it was him before continuing down the ramp to the ring. “You cannot say that this is a bad strategy on the part of Jake Archer.” Matt Mears said.
“He is aware that Nina Stokes wants to murder him, right? He cost her a victory over the World Champion!” Ben Petrie said.
“And she cost him the World Title itself.” Mears said.
“Yeah. He should be ready to kill her too!” Petrie replied.
Tabula Rasa Champion Nina Stokes’ had a less comical entrance. In fact it was not comical at all. Stokes stomped to the ring, tossed the title over the top rope, entered and went right after Archer. Stokes speared Archer to the match and started wailing on him. After bouncing Archer’s face off the top turnbuckle several times, Stokes sent him over the ring to the outside. At ringside Stokes sent Archer hard into the ring steps and then followed that up with a running knee to his face. Stokes then began looking under the ring for something. While Stokes was looking for a weapon, Archer looked to escape through the crowd. Stokes reappeared with a steel chair and when she saw Archer going into the crowd she flung the chair at him and it hit Archer right in the back of the head. “Hahaha! What a shot!” Petrie said. Stokes went into the crowd and got Archer up. Stokes set up the chair and then looked to ddt Archer onto the seat. Archer was able to shove her away and then Archer stepped off of the seat of the chair and cracked Stokes with a superkick, dropping her. Archer tore off the mask and his usual cheshire grin was gone. Archer looked mad. Archer picked up the chair and hit Stokes in the knee with it several times. Archer then wrapped the chair around Stokes’ leg and began stomping away on it. “I think Archer is done playing around. We are seeing a vicious side of him right here.” Mears said.
“About time!” Petrie added. “The Man in High Demand” walked Stokes back toward the barricade and he dumped her over it. Archer came over the barricade and he stomped on Stokes a few times. Archer then hit her a few times with the chair, keeping her down. Archer dropped the chair and then got up onto the barricade. Archer seemed to look for a moonsault but when he came back over, Stokes held the chair up and Archer’s face smashed right into it. Stokes hobbled as she set the chair up once again. Stokes positioned Archer’s face on the chair and then she climbed up onto the apron. “Oh this…we are about to see something truly horrible.” Mears said. Stokes pointed down at Archer but then she didn’t seem satisfied. Stokes ascended to the top rope and the audience went silent. Stokes jumped off the top rope looking to double stomp Archer’s face through the chair but Archer moved at the last second. Stokes came down on the steel and then let out in pain as she had further damaged her own knee. The referee went to check on Stokes but Archer tossed him out of the way. With the referee down, Archer produced something from his pocket. Archer put it in his mouth, bit down, and then spit a red mist into Stokes’ face! Archer then scrambled to grab the referee. “This…this might work.” Mears said.
“This…this is bullshit!” Petrie countered. Archer apologized to the referee repeatedly and then told him to look at Stokes. Stokes’ face was covered in the red liquid and the referee almost called the match until he inspected her more closely and saw that it was not blood. The referee waved it off. Stokes was back up and she grabbed Archer from behind. Stokes took him over with a snap German suplex and the back of Archer’s head landed on the corner of the ring steps. Seeing that a small cut had formed on the back of Archer’s head, Stokes rolled Archer into the ring and then collected the TR Title. Once back in the ring, Stokes stalked Archer. Archer was trying to crawl towards the ropes but Stokes limped toward him. Stokes dropped a knee into the small of Archer’s back and then held the title over her head. “No! You can not do this!” Mears exclaimed. The audience watched in horror as Stokes came down with the title, bashing the back of Archer’s head repeatedly. Archer was defenseless as Stokes hit him again and again and again. The small cut on the back of Archer’s head was now a giant gash and blood began to pool on the mat beneath his face. The referee finally intervened and called the match. Winner: Still OATH Tabula Rasa Champion, Nina Stokes The referee really had to get in the way to stop Stokes. Archer was down and out. EMTs rushed to the ring because Archer was fucked up. The referee kept the seething Tabula Rasa Champion at bay as EMTs checked on Archer. After a few moments Stokes stopped trying to go after Archer. Stokes exited the ring and limped up the ramp, her work with Archer was finished. “I think we can put this issue to bed now. Finally.” Mears said. “Yeah and Archer can have Holland’s spot in the morgue.” Petrie said.
The camera followed Stokes up the ramp but Stokes stopped when a figure stood in front of her. The camera panned over to show Aura Everton standing before the Tabula Rasa Champion. There was a moment of tension until Stokes continued forward. Stokes passed by Everton, hitting her with her shoulder en route to the back. Everton did not make the chase, now was not the time.

— World Championship Erik Holland vs. Declan Black © “The Most Dangerous” Erik Holland made his entrance to a great deal of fanfare but the challenger wore an icy cold glare, he was focussed on the task at hand and made no attempts to play to his supporters in Calgary. Holland stood in the center of the ring, his gaze drifting toward the crowd. In the ring, special ring announcer Madeline Warren stood looking as smug as ever, microphone in hand. The audience in Calgary gave her shit right from the get go but Warren did not seem upset in the least. “Introducing the security team, first, from Eastport, Maine, he stands six feet, three inches tall, and weighs in at two hundred and seventy pounds, he is “The Maine Event”, Jack O’Brien! And his security partner, from Coral Gables, Florida, he stands six feet, two inches tall, and weighs in at three hundred and forty pounds, he is “The Miami Pound Machine”, Derrick Warburton!” The camera cut to the men standing outside the door of the RV which was parked behind the arena. The distinctive bass of “Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project cued up, as the door opened to reveal Declan Black, World Championship belt strapped around his waist, his ring jacket open to show the title off. O’Brien led, with Black in the middle and Warburton flanking. The camera showed their entire entrance, through the crowd, both security men keeping Black’s Canadian fans away from the champion, as he is surprisingly popular north of the border. The three men hop the barricade, and stop at the apron, where each man took a knee and rose to lift Black to the top of the apron. He entered the ring and kissed Madeline before taking off his ring jacket and dropping it to O’Brien. “This entrance is excessive.” Matt Mears said. “It’s an entrance fit for a World Champion.” Ben Petrie said. The referee called for the title but Black scoffed and gestured for the referee to come to him. The referee sighed and obliged. Black took his time handing over the gold as Holland watched on. The referee showed Holland the title, held it up, handed it off and then called for the bell. Black talked some trash and then called for Holland to tie up with him. Holland approached with caution and it appeared that he was going to tie up but instead Holland went for a lariat but Black saw it coming and he ducked under it. Black picked Holland’s leg, putting Holland face first on the mat. Black stepped forward and smacked Holland in the back of the head. “I feel like Black is going to regret doing that…” Mears said. Holland maintained his composure and got back to his feet. This time Holland tied up with Black and forced Black down into a side headlock but Black quickly switched out of it and got Holland in a hammerlock. Black then smashed Holland in the back of the head with a forearm smash. Black charged and slid in front of Holland, taking him over with a snapmare. Black arrogantly applied a chin lock, smirking all the way. Holland fought his way up and elbowed Black in the mid-section. Holland hit the ropes and came back, putting Black on the mat with a shoulder block. Holland reached down to grab Black but Black pulled him over into a cradle pin.
1..! Holland kicked out before two and then took Black down with a snapmare of his own. Holland hit Black with a hard punt to the spin and then got Black up to a vertical base. Holland whipped Black into a corner and looked to follow that up with a clothesline but Black got a boot up. Black then hoisted himself up to the second rope and looked to come off with a diving lariat but Holland caught him and drove Black into the mat with Planet Terror (Black Hole Slam). Calgary exploded for the first big move in the match but Holland remained focussed. Holland got Black up and whipped him into the ropes. On Black’s return Holland lifted him into the air and Black came down hard face first into the mat. Holland pulled Black up by the arm and after a boot to the midsection Holland lifted Black up for Chopping Mall (Snap Powerbomb) but at the last moment Black dropped an elbow to the crown of Holland’s head. Black landed on the mat, drove a knee into Holland’s gut and then Black smashed him with a knee trembler that sent Holland through the ropes to the outside. “Black needs to capitalize and he needs to do it now. I do not think he will get many opportunities like this.” Mears said. “Oh come on. He’s the World Champion, he’s got this in the bag.” Petrie said. Black then grabbed the referee and complained about a fake eye injury as O’Brien and Warburton moved on Holland on the outside. The two security team members started relentlessly stomping on Holland as Calgary rained down boos. The security team got Holland up and slid him into the ring. Black dashed over to Holland’s body and covered.

2! Holland kicked out right at two and Black could not believe it. Black grabbed Holland by the wrist and looked to hit him with Blackout (Rainmaker Lariat) but Holland ducked under it, took hold of Black and dropped him with Calamity Trigger (Running Powerslam). Instead of covering, Holland got Black up and bealed him over the top rope onto O’Brien and Warburton. Holland exited it the ring and started stalking Black. O’Brien and Warburton tried to get in his way but Holland levelled them both with a double clothesline! Calgary exploded and with the security team out of the way, Holland went after Black. But Black had armed himself. “What the hell is Black doing? He is going to get disqualified here.” Mears said. Black stood with a chair and he tossed it at Holland’s feet. Holland looked down at it and seemed perplexed. Black gestured for Holland to use the chair and Holland, surprisingly, picked it up. Holland then tossed it aside but Black saw that coming. Black darted forward, grabbed Holland’s arm and took him down with In The Black (Regal Cutter). “The Pride of Nova Scotia” slipped back into the ring and demanded that the referee start counting. The referee had no choice but to do so. At around the count of twelve Holland stood and Black seemed irate. Black charged and dove through the ropes with a tope suicida but Holland caught him in mid-air and sent Black head first into the announce table. O’Brien and Warburton were back up and they went to attack Holland, likely to cause a disqualification where Black would retain the title, but before they could grab him. The referee called for them to be ejected! They didn’t seem to care but then OATH security surrounded them and forced them up the ramp. O’Brien whispered something to Warburton and the two disappeared behind the curtain. “Good. We might actually get a fair match from here on out.” Mears said. “What was unfair? What were they doing wrong aside from protecting their boss?” Petrie said. Holland looked very pleased by this development. Holland got Black up and Black tossed a few punches at Holland’s midsection but Holland just ate the punches. Holland hit Black with a hard knee to the mid-section and then lifted him up and slammed him through the announce table with Chopping Mall (Snap Powerbomb). “Oh what the hell?” Petrie exclaimed. Calgary exploded and Holland saw his opportunity. Holland slid Black back into the ring. Black was rocked and even though he stood, he was dead on his feet. Black stumbled right into a fireman’s carry from Holland and Holland looked ready to hit The Toxic Avenger (Death Valley Driver) when something at the top of the ramp caught his attention.
“What…what have they done…” Mears said. O’Brien and Warburton stood at the top of the ramp with a beaten down Samantha Hamilton. The referee screamed at security to go help “The Titaness” and while the referee was distracted Black slipped off of Holland’s shoulders and hit him with a low blow. Black hit the ropes and came back to hit Holland with Call of the Coal (Claymore Kick). Holland dropped but quickly got back up albeit in a daze. Black scrambled and hit Holland with a second Call of the Coal (Claymore Kick). Holland went down but was back up on all fours. Black, frustrated, got Holland up and hit him with Blackout (Rainmaker Lariat). Black covered.

..3! “Sirius” cued up and Madeline Warren entered the ring with the championship, handing it to Black. The two embraced and then quickly fled the ring. Once at the top of the ramp, Black and Warren stepped over Hamilton. O’Brien and Warburton lifted Black up onto their shoulders in celebration. Winner: Still OATH World Champion, Declan Black Holland was shown, his eyes glazed over as he stared up the ramp at the celebrating quartet and his downed associate. The copyright information came up as Holland was shown defeated in the foreground and Black riding high in the background.
