EARLIER TODAY…

The initial shot of the pay-per-view is that of a backstage area of the arena. The three members of EMBLEM (Ben Macbeth, Harvey Carbine, and Josh Cherry) stood together near the catering set up.

CARBINE: That’ll be in then. Everyone drew their numbers. Mine ain’t great but just gives me more time to run through people. Nothing to it but to do it.

MACBETH: Your number only dictates when you enter the contest and nothing more. It does not represent your ability to be victorious. You are the captain of your destiny.

CHERRY: Yeah…but like…if yours is REALLY late in the order you’ve got a better chance. Statistically.

Cherry attempted to stifle his knowing chuckle.

CARBINE: I take your snickerin’ to mean that you probably got a late number kid?

Cherry shrugged, still trying to hide his joy. The other two members do not look pleased with his immature satisfaction.

MACBETH: Perhaps we will see you out there. Perhaps we will not. But EMBLEM makes up one sixth of the field so I expect that we will, at the very least, make an impact.

CARBINE: Goddamn right.

CHERRY: Yeah but my chances of winning are just…better.

Macbeth cocked an eyebrow.

MACBETH: Joshua. You can be very exhausting.

Macbeth and Carbine walk out of the frame, leaving Cherry to stare at the piece of paper with his number written on it. CHERRY: I’m just saying!

The camera hovered over his shoulder to reveal “18”. The camera then pulled back and there stood three other figures.

???: Why thank you, I’d love to switch numbers with you.

Cherry spun around and found himself face to face with OATH World Champion, Declan Black as well as Jack O’Brien and Derrick Warburton; his security team Clan Black. Cherry, sensing his imminent demise, decided to strike first. Cherry came at Black, looking for a forearm smash but O’Brien and Warburton clobbered him with a double lariat.

Clan Black got Cherry up and then put him through the catering table with a pop up by O’Brien into a Samoan Drop by Warburton. Cherry laid in the rubble of the table as Black approached and stole his number ticket. Black then tossed his on Cherry’s chest and the trio left.

The camera zoomed in to show the piece of paper on Cherry’s chest and written on it was the number “1”.

OPENING

We see the empty arena in Toronto but then we see live videos from fans all over the word with their whereabouts listed at the bottom of the screen. A man with a homemade “PISS BABY” sign, cheering while adorned in a Reo Ojima t-shirt. Las Vegas, Nevada Some goth looking characters with a staggering amount of Enigma Protocol merchandise, sitting stoically all on the same couch. Reykjavik, Iceland A group of four comprised solely of women send their greetings with Samantha Hamilton signs. Berlin, Germany And so on and so forth with more videos populating the screen in a tapestry of overwhelming support for the returning federation. Cut to inside of the arena and the camera swooped down to “Bad Mood” Ben Petrie and Matt Mears at ringside. Both men appeared to be extremely happy to be back on your screen. PETRIE: We’re back motherfuckers! MEARS: That we are. We will not go into detail about where we have been because that is not what is important. What is important is that OATH is back and tonight we will present perhaps the most unique event in company history. PETRIE: Eighteen competitors. One championship. Longest reigning OATH World Champion, Declan Black is being FORCED to defend his crown in the first ever Trial By Fire Match. Complete injustice if you ask me. MEARS: Black has not had to defend his championship since January. He has the same chance of winning as everyone else. PETRIE: It’s an outrage. But he is the smartest man in wrestling and he found a way to come out last. By the time he enters the match, the rest of the field will have destroyed each other. MEARS: That is a distinct possibility. Let us see how it will play out, the Trial By Fire Match begins NOW!

OATH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TRIAL BY FIRE MATCH

The bell rang throughout the empty arena and “Roosevelt Room” kicked up. Competitor Number One, representing EMBLEM, was Josh Cherry. Cherry looked a little worse for wear considering the attack he suffered earlier in the day but he had his fighting face on. The competitor who drew number two was out next, representing Enigma Protocol, Ryan Terror came to the ring. Cherry’s expression turned to malice as EMBLEM and Enigma Protocol were at war with one another right before OATH’s hiatus. MEARS: This match is kicking off in a big way. Representatives of warring factions ready to reignite their feud. Cherry didn’t wait for Terror to enter the ring as he charged and dove through the ropes with a tope suicida. The two battled around ringside with Terror introducing Cherry’s face to the ring steps in blood curdling succession. Terror looked for Paradigm Shift (Vertical suplex lifted and dropped into a double knee backbreaker) but Cherry slipped out and cracked him with Cherry’s Jubilee (Jump Stalling Sidekick). The countdown appeared and at zero “The Glass Alice” cued up and Enigma Protocol member, “The Alpha Bitch” Adrestia Nyx made her way to ringside. Cherry met her on the ramp and the two started brawling. However, Terror was back to his feet and he hit Cherry from behind with Out of the Shadows (Superkick). PETRIE: Uh-oh, Cherry is all alone. This guy just can’t catch a break today and it’s pretty hilarious. MEARS: The young competitor has tremendous fighting spirit but the odds are against him here. The two Protocol members got Cherry up to his feet and dragged him to the ring. Nyx and Terror whipped Cherry hard into the apron and then dumped him into the ring. Once in the ring themselves, Protocol circled Cherry like sharks. Just as the two were about to strike the timer once again reached zero and “Roosevelt Room” kicked up yet again. EMBLEM member and Cherry’s tag team partner Harvey Carbine hauled ass to the ring. Carbine turned Nyx inside out with a clothesline and then lifted Terror up with a gorilla press into a military slam. MEARS: It seems that Cherry’s luck has changed. His tag team partner is here and making an impact! PETRIE: His old ass is gonna be blown up in minutes. MEARS: I would not count on that! Helping his partner Cherry to his feet, Carbine then gave Cherry an encouraging slap to get his head back in the game. Carbine grabbed Nyx and with Cherry they executed Ultimate X-Plex (Carbine hits an X-Plex and Cherry catches them with a Back Stabber on the way down). Cherry covered Nyx. 1.. 2.. ..! Terror broke up the pinfall just as the buzzer sounded again. “Wreak Havoc” hit the p.a. and OATH newcomer Nixie “Mayhem” Caine skipped to the ring. Seeing the battle of duos happening between the ropes. Instead of inserting herself, Caine just sat on the guard rail and watched, swinging her legs back and forth. MEARS: Newcomer Nixie Caine does not seem interested in being a fifth wheel. PETRIE: Discretion is the better part of valor! In the ring the members of Enigma Protocol and Midnight Special had paired off. Terror was smashing Carbine’s face into the top turnbuckle as Nyx mauled Cherry on the mat. Outside the ring Caine just continued to watch, giggling with every act of violence. Bzzzzt. The clock reset as “Resist And Bite” rang out and another OATH newcomer appeared. “La Balicista” Isabella charged to the ring but stopped short at the top of the ramp. Isabella turned her attention to Caine who was perched on the crowd barrier. Caine jumped off and took Isabella down with a hurricanranna takedown. MEARS: Isabella did not even see Caine there! What a sneak attack. Caine mounted Isabella and laid into her with some rights and lefts in frantic fashion. Caine then looked to shoot Isabella into the ring post but Isabella reversed it. Caine jumped onto the steel steps and looked to jump backward with a moonsault but Isabella sidestepped it. Caine landed on her feet but then immediately ate a roaring elbow from Isabella. The clock reached zero and “Killing in the Name Of” cued up. Former OATH Tag Team Champion, Leah Aguero was out next. Aguero reached the bottom of the ramp and she engaged with Isabella. Aguero smashed Isabella with a big boot but was then hit with a Total Mayhem (Reverse Roundhouse Kick) from Caine. PETRIE: One half of The Inevitable is on the scene baby. She tells me that she has a banger of a new finisher and I can’t wait to see it. MEARS: I have always admired your journalistic neutrality. PETRIE: I don’t know what that means so I’m gonna assume it was an insult. In the ring Terror had Carbine in a reverse waist lock when Nyx cracked Carbine with a superkick as Terror planted him with a German suplex. Terror held it in a bridge, looking to eliminate Carbine. 1.. 2.. ..! Cherry just barely made the save, breaking up the pin. MEARS: Carbine was almost eliminated! Bzzzzt. “The Downfall of Us All” kicked up and another newcomer, “The Freak” Zeke Davis came out. Instead of going to the ramp, Davis sneaked into the audience area and kept low to avoid detection. As Davis approached ringside, Isabella measured Aguero and went for SNAFU (Black Mass) but Aguero dropped and Isabella cracked Caine with the kick. Aguero then sent Isabella hard into the ring steps. Aguero turned, measured Caine and smashed her with The Endgame (Punt Kick). Aguero covered Caine on the outside. 1.. 2.. ..3! Eliminated: Nixie Caine PETRIE: And there it is! The newcomer is the first person eliminated. Bzzzzt! “The Haunted” cued up and an OATH Original in Erik Holland stomped out onto the stage. Holland marched to the ring and Aguero tried to meet him there but Holland stopped her dead and tossed her over the guardrail where she collided with Davis! Isabella rushed Holland and tried to hit him with a clothesline but Holland blocked it and heaved her over the guardrail as well taking down both Davis and Aguero. MEARS: Erik Holland is on a mission here tonight. He was set for an OATH World Championship match before our hiatus and he has waited for this opportunity. PETRIE: He’ll fucking blow it. He always does. In the ring Carbine was tied up in the ropes as Terror lifted Cherry up for a powerbomb. Nyx ascended to the top rope and came off with a meteora as Terror planted Cherry with a powerbomb. Terror applied a matchbook cover and the referee counted. MEARS: What a double team from Enigma Protocol! Maybe they do not need Miguel Villalobos… 1.. 2.. ..3!

Eliminated: Josh Cherry

PETRIE: See now Carbine is fucked. He’s all alone!

MEARS: Everyone is essentially alone in this contest.

PETRIE: Not Enigma Protocol!

The clock hit zero again. Bzzzzt! “Gimme The Prize” hit and OATH Intrepid Champion, Locke Helms started toward the ring. Armed with his championship title, Helms entered the ring and targeted Carbine. Helms lunged at Carbine, looking to smash him in the face but Carbine sent Terror into him. Helms bashed Terror in the face. Nyx then charged at Carbine only to be put down with a drop toe hold and immediately trapped into the Nightcap (Inverted Sharpshooter). Nyx had nowhere to go and had to tap out.

Eliminated: Adrestia Nyx

PETRIE: Okay now Terror is alone. Fuck.

Holland has made his way over the guard rail. Holland went for Davis but Aguero blasted Holland with a running big boot. Isabella charged and smashed Holland with a leaping knee to the side of the head but Holland was still on his feet. Davis then kicked Holland in the nuts and sent him head first into the solid metal stage. Davis then went for a high double high five with Isabella and Aguero but neither obliged him.

MEARS: It seems that Zeke Davis has not made any friends.

PETRIE: Neither has Holland! If these three work together they can take him out. As much as I don’t care for the fucker, he is a favourite!

Bzzzzt. “My Name Is Human” cued up and “Burning Heart” James Edwards came rushing to the ring. Helms whipped around to face his rival. Edwards slid into the ring and they came to blows. Shots back and forth sent both Edwards and Helms through the ropes to the outside. Meanwhile a bloodied Terror reversed a German suplex attempt from Carbine and blasted him with Blood Reign (Wristlock transitioned into a shortarm lariat). Terror covered.

Eliminated: Harvey Carbine The countdown appeared again and following zero “BAD MAN” cued up and new OATH signee “The Unbreakable” Michael Kelly came out onto the stage. Kelly measured the grouping of Holland, Davis, Isabella, and Aguero standing in the audience area below the stage. Kelly charged and jumped off the stage, taking all four competitors down with a cross body. MEARS: That is one way to make your debut! Michael Kelly taking out four competitors with one heck of a cross body! At ringside Edwards and Helms were battling back and forth. Helms introduced Edwards’ face into the ring apron several times. Terror took a moment to recover and then exited the ring, pulling out a wooden table. Terror set up the table and then called out to Helms. Helms nodded and dragged Edwards over to that area. The clock reached zero again and “The Parable” cued up. EMBLEM representative, “The Tomorrow Man” Ben Macbeth came to the ring with his eyes on Terror. With Terror momentarily distracted by Macbeth, Edwards hit Helms with an elbow to the mid-section and then he grabbed Terror and put him through the table with a flapjack. PETRIE: Bullshit! Terror was distracted. Edwards is a filthy opportunist. MEARS: You have to remain focussed in a match like this. In the audience area. Holland and Kelly were both back up to their feet. Kelly hit Holland with three stiff leg kicks that dropped Holland to his knees. Davis crawled away and hid to the left of the stage as Isabella and Aguero started brawling yet again. Isabella tried for Semper Fidelis (Cross Arm Breaker) but Aguero reversed it mid-move and dropped Isabella head first on the concrete. Aguero then put some space between herself and Isabella before blasting her with The Endgame (Punt Kick). Aguero covered. 1.. 2.. ..3! Eliminated: “La Belicista” Isabella Kelly spotted Davis which caused the latter to scurry and disappear into the backstage area. Kelly gave chase as the timer counted down again. Bzzzzt! “The Real Man” cued up and Reo Ojima ran out onto the stage with a steel chair in hand! Ojima jumped off the stage and cracked Holland over the head with a steel chair. MEARS: Good Lord! Did you hear that? PETRIE: The arena is empty and that just echoed like I’ve never heard. Holland is dead. Ojima didn’t stop there. He ran and jumped over the barricade where Macbeth was going for Terror. Ojima smashed the chair over the back of Macbeth’s head, dropping him. Ojima then found Edwards and smashed him in the back of the head with the chair as well! Helms tried to meet Ojima but Ojima drove the chair into Helms’ mid-section and then cracked it over his back. Ojima then slid into the ring and held the chair high, having taken just about everyone down. PETRIE: Ojima is here Piss Babies! MEARS: What does that even mean? PETRIE: Who cares? Backstage we saw Kelly come through the curtain, searching for Davis. Davis was perched above the curtain and he jumped down with a double axe handle to the back of Kelly’s neck. Davis then quickly tried for Jokes On You (Canadian Destroyer) but Kelly fought out of it and dropped Davis with Date With Desti-Knee (Running Single Leg High Knee). Kelly covered. 1.. 2.. ..3! Eliminated: Zeke Davis MEARS: Davis had a sound strategy but Kelly was able to thwart him. I do not expect that this will be the last time that these two face off. Back in the arena, the counter reached zero again and “You’re Going Down” cued up. Samantha “The Titaness” Hamilton came out onto the stage. She looked down to see Erik Holland in the audience and with a nod the former tag team partners made their way to the ring. In the middle of the ring Ojima stood ready for them but Edwards, Helms, and Terror had all slipped in behind him. Ojima turned and went to smash them with a chair but Edwards hit him with a kick to the gut, then sent him into an Out of the Shadows (Superkick) from Terror. Ojima was still on his feet when Helms hit him with Diamond Rain (Standing Moonsault Slam/C4). Ojima rolled out of the ring to relative safety. PETRIE: That was bullying! I loved it. MEARS: Ojima did come to the ring and attack everyone. He was asking for it. Hamilton and Holland reached the ring at the same time, sliding in to face off with Helms, Terror, and Edwards. Holland and Terror immediately attacked each other, renewing their hostilities from when OATH first began. Edwards then turned his attention to Helms and blasted him with Fire From Heaven (Discuss Roundhouse Kick). Macbeth slid into the ring and met face to face with Hamilton. Bzzzzt! “The Unforgiven” cued up and “The Outlaw” Josie Wales came out onto the ramp where she was met by Aguero! The two immediately started brawling but Wales put Aguero down with Sundance Neckbreaker (Overdrive) right onto the steel stage. Just as Wales went to cover Aguero, another figure came out from behind the curtain! MEARS: Oh my! She’s here! PETRIE: Stephanie Matsuda is back in OATH! MEARS: But she is not a participant in this contest. Matsuda grabbed Wales and sent her sailing off the stage through a stack of tables. Matsuda then checked on Aguero but the reunion of The Inevitable was short-lived as Kelly returned from backstage and sent Matsuda sailing off the stage herself! Matusda landed with a thud on a row of road cases, causing Aguero to let out in anger. MEARS: And just like that Stephanie Matsuda has been neutralized by Michael Kelly. In the ring Terror and Holland went back and forth but after being put through a table and bloodied by a title belt shot to the head, Terror was worse for wear. Holland blocked an Out of the Shadows (Superkick) from Terror and pulled him into a Toxic Avenger (Death Valley Driver). Holland covered. 1.. 2.. ..3! Eliminated: Ryan Terror MEARS: The competitor who has been in this match the longest has been eliminated. There go Enigma Protocol’s chances at claiming the World Championship.

In the ring Macbeth and Hamilton battled back and forth until Macbeth downed Hamilton with From Parts Unknown (360 Buzzsaw Kick). As Macbeth went to cover, Ojima pulled Macbeth out of the ring and hit him with the Last Call (Running Power Slam) but onto the guard rail! Macbeth was bent awkwardly over the railing and Ojima flung himself over the barricade to cover him. MEARS: Oh my! I think Macbeth is hurt “Bad Mood”. He landed badly across the guard rail. PETRIE: He knew what he was getting into. 1.. 2.. ..3! Eliminated: Ben Macbeth Aguero went to check on her partner and Kelly decided to leave her to it. Kelly made his way down the ramp but was blindsided by the recovered Wales. Kelly and Wales started brawling when the clocked counted down again. Bzzzt! “Into The Fire” cued up and first ever OATH World Champion “The Virulence” Finn Whelan made his way out onto the stage. Whelan took a moment to take in everything that was going on and he was blindsided by Aguero at the top of the ramp! MEARS: The Prodigal Son returns. The first OATH World Champion is here and he is looking to become the first ever two time champion. PETRIE: Where does ring rust factor in though? Last time we saw him, Black beat him handily. MEARS: I cannot argue with that point. Wales and Kelly fought to the bottom of the ramp and eventually found themselves in the ring. Holland rushed at Kelly but Kelly lowbridged the top rope and Holland was sent over to the outside. Kelly and Wales then fought by the ropes, Wales got tossed over the apron but hung on. Wales grabbed Kelly by the hair and attempted a suplex out of the ring. Kelly wiggled out, rakes Wales’ eyes and dropped her with a brainbuster on the apron. Outside the ring Edwards and Helms were nowhere to be found. The camera searched for them and found them up in the 100 level seats. The two were brawling back and forth above a tunnel entrance. Edwards went for a forearm smash but Helms blocked it and both men fell from atop the tunnel entrance and landed with a thud onto concrete. EMTs were immediately on the scene but the referee determined that neither man could continue. MEARS: Oh Lord! That sound! These men are hurt! Eliminated: James Edwards & Locke Helms The countdown appeared again and every competitor turned their attention to the top of the ramp. There was only one competitor left and once it hit zero, “Brenda Stubbert” hit. Whelan had taken Aguero down at the top of the ramp and then waited for World Champion Declan Black. However, Black did not appear. The shot switched to show Black entering the arena…through the 100 level seats. Black passed by Helms and Edwards being tended to by EMTs and just laughed. MEARS: No one can say that Black is not intelligent. He is taking the longest possible route to the ring. PETRIE: Yeah! He’s a genius and he is going to remain World Champion.

In the middle of the ring, Kelly found himself face to face with Ojima. Ojima had his steel chair again and he blasted Kelly in the head with it. Ojima then dropped the chair and hit Kelly with the Last Call (Powerslam) onto the chair. Ojima covered. 1.. 2.. ..3! Eliminated: Michael Kelly MEARS: Michael Kelly impressed me here tonight. I think we can expect big things from him in the future.

As Ojima celebrated his second elimination of the night, Wales slipped back into the ring and hit him with a running forearm smash to the lower back. Ojima fell forward into the ropes and then turned around and ate a Bicycle Kick from Wales. Wales then quickly dropped Ojima with Rio Lobo Driver (Quackendriver 3) onto the steel chair that he introduced to the match!

Eliminated: Reo Ojima

MEARS: Hoist with his own petard!

PETRIE: What?

MEARS: Review the context “Bad Mood”.

Black was making his way to the ring when both Whelan and Holland started making their way toward him from different directions. Black did not look concerned and he walked confidently to the ring. As Whelan and Holland closed in on him they were intercepted! Jack O’Brien came out of nowhere and blasted Holland with a clothesline. Derrick Warburton sent Whelan head first into the guardrail as Black just continued walking confidently to the ring.

PETRIE: Hahahaha! Declan Black is the smartest man in wrestling.

MEARS: This contest is no disqualification but that is just ridiculous.

Aguero has made her way back to the ring where Hamilton and Wales are brawling. Aguero hopped up onto the apron and hit a springboard into the ring, hitting both Hamilton and Wales with a dropkick. Aguero took hold of Hamilton and hit her with a snap German suplex but Wales was back up. Aguero was hit with a vile elbow to the back of the head from Wales. Wales then planted Aguero with the Rio Lobo Driver (Quackendriver 3) and covered. 1.. 2.. ..3! Eliminated: Leah Aguero MEARS: And with the longest time in the contest thus far, Leah Aguero is eliminated! What a performance from the War Queen. PETRIE: We are down to the final five. One of them will leave this contest as OATH World Champion and it will be Declan Black. Black stepped over the guard rail and walked around ringside. In the ring Wales had Hamilton mounted and was laying into her with shot after shot. Waiting for his opportunity, Black just watched. Hamilton was able to buck Wales off and transition into Fall Of Man (Hell’s Gate)! Wales had nowhere to go but she refused to submit. Wales’ arms went limp and the referee deemed her unable to continue. Eliminated: Josie Wales MEARS: Major kudos to Josie Wales. She did not submit, she fought until she could no longer fight any more. PETRIE: The Outlaw is a warrior, I’ll give her that! Before Hamilton even knew what was happening Black entered the ring and hit her with a knee trembler. Black got Hamilton up and sent her into the corner where he followed that up with a running knee to the mid-section. Black then led Hamilton out of the corner and put her down with In The Black (Regal Cutter). Black scrambled into a cover. 1..

2.. ..! MEARS: Hamilton kicks out! She was the last person to pin Black in OATH and I think that worries the World Champion! PETRIE: Nothing worries Black. He came prepared! Hamilton kicked out and Black looked marginally shocked. On the floor beyond the barricade Holland was back to his feet and he took hold of a chair which he swung wildly and smashed over O’Brien’s head. O’Brien staggered back and then Holland planted him with The Toxic Avenger (Death Valley Driver) onto the concrete, effectively taking him out of the equation. MEARS: Goodbye Jack! PETRIE: Holland is a dangerous freak! He could have killed him! Elsewhere Warburton was putting boots to Whelan on the floor. Whelan was able to fight up and drive a knee into Warburton’s mid-section. Whelan then looked around desperately and took notice of the camera man. Whelan grabbed the camera and smashed it into Warburton’s face. Warburton dropped to all fours and Whelan smashed the camera over his back, breaking it into a hundred pieces. MEARS: It seems that Clan Black has been effectively removed from the equation. Black is all alone. PETRIE: No he isn’t! I’m here to support him! Back in the ring Black was scrambling. He saw that both his enforcers in Clan Black were taken down and that Holland and Whelan were coming for him. Black set Hamilton up for Blackout (Rainmaker Lariat) but Hamilton slipped out of it and positioned Black for Wrath Of The Titans (Pedigree)! Hamilton was about to hit it when Black back dropped Hamilton over the top rope to the floor. MEARS: You have to believe that if Hamilton hit that it would have been over for Black! PETRIE: No I don’t. “The Pride of Nova Scotia” was on one knee in the ring when Holland and Whelan came over the barricade at the same time. Each on a different side of the ring, Holland, Hamilton, and Whelan had Black surrounded. MEARS: This is it. Declan Black faces his judgement. PETRIE: This is unfair! This is ridiculous! The three slowly entered the ring and Black charged. Black hit Whelan with a stomp to the head but Holland was there and he blasted Black with a clobbering lariat to the back of the head. Holland then tried to pull Black into a hold but Black threw his head back and the back of his head connected with Holland’s nose. Black then slipped out of the ring but Holland ran and the big man vaulted over the top rope landing on top of Black. MEARS: Holland isn’t letting Black get away! Hamilton went to join the fight but Whelan saw his opportunity and he caught her with a kick to the mid-section. Whelan then planted Hamilton with TITIM CEANN (Lifting Underhook DDT). Whelan covered hoping to get an elimination. 1..

2..

..! MEARS: Kickout! Hamilton kicked out! Whelan got back to his feet and tried to get Hamilton up but she pulled him right into Fall Of Man (Hell’s Gate)! Whelan is trapped with no rope breaks to save him! Outside the ring Holland has Black mounted and he is laying into him with juggernaut-like rights and lefts. Black tries to cover up but to no avail, the champion’s mouth is busted open. Holland grabbed Black and got him up, tossing him like a sack of potatoes into the announce table. Holland then got a certain look on his face and went searching under the ring. PETRIE: Someone needs to stop this lunatic! Who knows what he has hidden under there! In the ring Whelan was trapped in Wrath of the Titans with nowhere to go! The Virulence was fading fast until he was able to put his feet on the bottom rope. Then the middle rope. Whelan was able to kick off, flip over and reverse the hold into a pin! Hamilton couldn’t do anything! 1.. 2.. ..3! Eliminated: Samantha Hamilton MEARS: A valiant effort from Samantha Hamilton but tonight was not her night. PETRIE: It never will be! She doesn’t have what it takes! MEARS: I wholeheartedly disagree. Holland reappeared from under the ring and pulled out a barbed wire wrapped steel chair. He turned his attention to the champion, who was scrambling to crawl over the announce table. Holland smashed the chair over Black’s back and caused the champion to start bleeding from dozens of tiny cuts. Holland then climbed up onto the announce table with Black and called for his end. Whelan recovered in the ring as Hamilton exited and recovered on the outside, disappointed. Atop the announce table Black reached up and hit Holland with a low blow. Black took hold of the chair and ripped the barbed wire against Holland’s face. Black then took Holland down with In The Black (Regal Cutter), putting him through the announce table. MEARS: Good Lord! Black still has life in this contest! Whelan saw his opportunity and exited the ring to go after Black. Whelan put the stomps to Black and then got him up, looking for Revelation 6:4 (The Bitter End) but Black used the chair to whack Whelan in the face. Black then nailed Whelan with Blackout (Rainmaker Lariat). Black fell into a cover on Whelan. PETRIE: Yes! Yes! Yes! 1.. 2.. ..3!

Eliminated: Finn Whelan

Holland started to stir and Black took refuge in the ring. The champion lay on the mat, his back bleeding and his body just fucked. Holland rose from the rubble of the table, his face a crimson mask. Holland took a step forward and kicked the debris out of the way. Black turned to look at Holland, with a look of determination. Holland limped toward the ring and entered.

MEARS: We are witnessing something special here.

PETRIE: …we are.

Holland entered the ring and his eyes met Black’s. Black stood, falling back into the ropes but catching himself. Black took a moment to compose himself and then flipped Holland off. Holland took that as an invitation and rushed the champion. Black lowbridged the top rope and Holland spilled over onto the apron. Black went for a clothesline but Holland grabbed Black and walked his head into the top turnbuckle.

MEARS: Black is rocked! Holland will know be denied!

The Haunted reentered the ring and Black went for Call of the Coal (Claymore Kick) but Holland grabbed his leg and swung him hard into the corner. Holland then tried to pull Black out but Black spit in his face. Holland responded with a vile discus elbow smash to the face. Holland then lifted Black up to the top rope, positioned him, then came off with a top rope Toxic Avenger (Death Valley Driver). Holland covered, pouring blood from his face onto the mat.

1..

2..

..3!

Winner: New OATH World Champion, Erik Holland!

“The Haunted” cued up and Erik Holland was presented with the OATH World Championship. It took Holland a moment to get to his feet but when he did he took the championship and stared into the main face plate. Black was down and out on the canvas as Holland held the championship up and the shot zoomed in on him to end the show.

The reign of Declan Black is over and OATH is back.
